I have a thing for office supplies. Ever since I started working I took it upon myself to be in charge of ordering and purchasing them. Going to Office Depot is like a fun shopping spree for me. This location is the closest one to my place of work so I'm a regular here. The staff is pretty attentive, always asking me if I need help. When I've taken them up on it they never disappoint. Only once was I not able to find exactly what I was looking for but the guy totally showed me something else I could use and it worked perfectly. read more

Just don't. Don't bother. If you are considering this particular location for something you need, I can almost guarantee you that they no longer carry it, they have run out of it, they never had it, and there is not anyone who cares enough about it to help you any further. We have made the mistake (three times) of visiting this particular location because it is our closest Office Depot. The third time was the last time. We give up. When asking for a particular product, we could not flag down one sales rep to help us for over 30 min. When we were finally able to get someone to tell us if they carried the product or not, he seemed interested enough to help us look for it, which was nice. But when he determined that they were out, he didn't offer us any alternatives. Just, "nope, we are out!" And that's it. No offer to check another location for the product, no offer to check if it will be restocked, and no offer of ideas as to where else we may be able to find it. The apathy was quite depressing from a customer perspective. On a brighter note, we have found that other locations of Office Depot are a little better stocked and customer service among staff and management is much more attentive and friendly (ex: River Oaks, Sawyer Heights). My recommendation: either skip this location and go to the others or call for what you are looking for in advance, to save yourself time and frustration. That's all folks! read more

Office supply stores tend to be in short supply on the East Side, and sadly this is not one the better Office Depot locations in the chain. While it tends to carry a good deal of inventory, the staff seems to be apathetic and poorly trained. I've often found an item in stock online, only to be told that it cannot be physically located and to go to another store. This shouldn't be the case when they're missing an endcap worth of pens. Visit this store if you have to, but the nearby Staples is far superior. read more

All it takes is an acknowledgement from the manager when handling an exchange. I went in to exchange a printer I purchase and the Manager named John didn't look at me at all or even speak to the cashier when asking him a question. He never made eye contact with me at all not a hello, how are you, goodbye or thank you. Being a manager customer service is very important and a smile goes a long way. read more

This review is based only on the Saturday, August 2, 2014 7pm crew for this store. A total group of lazy unmotivated individuals. I needed assistance and was first ignored and then given the wrong information about where to find a product. I needed assistance with locating a furniture accessory but was directed to the technology wall to find it. The workers were each in their own little world and did not seem interested in assisting, nor did they offer. I think this deserves a call to corporate. There are too many individuals who want to work but can't get a job. Here you have a group who seemingly do not want to work and that is bad for business. F+ grade. read more
