I believe for 10,000 dollars or any amount of money Your purchase should be new and Free of defects. There are no more couches in stock so one is going to have to be made . They refuse to refund my money. Customer service was a nightmare. I highly recommend if you need furniture to consider gallery furniture. I have always used gallery and been 100% satisfied. If I only would have known the showroom couch Was not the same as the warehouse couch. One star is too good for my experience at star furniture. Don't bother calling the president as recommended on the brochure you just get circled back to customer service who have scripted responses. If I only read yelp reviews about star furniture Clear lake and saw 90% were only 1star I wouldn't be writing this review.

UPDATE: After posting my earlier review (below), I was contacted by Star Furniture. Star's…read morerepresentatives informed me that the reason for how long it takes for the repair parts to arrive is that they need to come from overseas and are shipped via boat. I was also informed that while the parts showed as delivered, they could not be found and obtaining replacement parts again would take much more time. To resolve the issue, Star offered to replace the sofa and did so in late February. The customer service representative who contacted me was extremely professional and courteous, as were the delivery personnel who delivered the replacement. I am extremely pleased that Star Furniture was able to resolve the issue and offered to replace the damaged sofa. It is still unfortunate that it took my original review below rather than the phone calls to resolve the issue. However, given that I was always very happy with Star Furniture before this one issue and that Star was able to resolve it, I will consider purchasing from Star again in the future. I am updating my rating based on Star resolving this issue. ORIGINAL: In September 2024, I purchased a Dexter 2-seat leather love seat with console in middle for drink covers. Sliding console didn't quite work right from day 1 (noticed by delivery personnel), and then wouldn't open after about 3 weeks. Called in service order. Technician that came out broke cover and put large tear in the leather. Was told they'd order parts and come out and repair everything under warranty, with it taking 3 weeks to 90 days. It is now longer than that and still no parts. Every time I call, I'm told parts are either on order - today, I was told parts have yet to be ordered -- and it now takes at least 120 days to get repairs. I'm being told it will likely be another 30 days minimum. So, I have new item that was damaged, technician damaged it further, and can't get resolution. Guess its time to look at legal options for resolving these issues since Star Furniture not helpful at all. Never had problems with them in the past, but will not buy from Star in the future.

***Delivery Crew Danger***…read more I have achieved a new level of anger this evening, at the ineffective and lazy delivery men of AFW. On top of them throwing my couches, damaging my walls, being insanely rude to my wife, cursing, intimidating my wife about having to take pieces of our couch up a flight of stairs, and complaining the whole time they were here, I have now discovered that the American Furniture Warehouse delivery men helped me achieve a new level of CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION, by not even actually assembling the couch! Please tell me what was the purpose of the delivery?! What the actual fudge is the delivery fee for?! I only discovered this after I heard squeaking and grinding as we tried to recline and sit. And when I pulled on the top of the seats they all came apart. I have no idea if there is damage now and I cant begin to express my anger enough. This is the 2nd time AFW has failed massively. I realized as i came here to leave this review they botched our delivery for my daughter's bedroom set 4 & 1/2 years ago. I had forgotten that, and inadvertently i have given them another chance. Its good to see they consistently fail. My mistake. Smh.

Little did we know that we'd find the perfect table in our backyard. We found The Market Station on Instagram and Facebook (TheMarketStation). My wife saw a table on their social media page that she really wanted to go see. She fell in love with it immediately. Not only did she find a table she likes but, much to my chagrin, found other pieces she liked as well. If I'm honest, I also liked several other pieces in their store as well. The owner (Cathy Young) is on-site and very personable. When we bought the table, we didn't need it delivered. However, if you need delivery, I think they offer local delivery through a third party. Bottom line - A fantastic furniture and decor store that offers a variety of larger furniture pieces as well as artwork and other decor. Definitely worth a visit if you're in "the market."

Instead, we've experienced issues with the fabric pilling, becoming loose and stretched, and the cushions wearing down much faster than they should. The wood framing also breaking. I contacted Rooms To Go multiple times expecting them to stand behind their product and warranty, but they have refused to fix or address any of the issues. It's frustrating to spend this much money on furniture only to have it start looking worn out and poorly made, then be told there's essentially nothing they're willing to do about it. warranty and customer service mean very little if the company finds a reason not to help when there is an actual problem. Unfortunately, when I later tried to replace a damaged part, I was told they do not sell parts separately after all. On top of that, they also denied warranty coverage, saying the damage (caused by my pet) is not included. What's frustrating is the lack of consistency and clarity from the beginning. I made my purchase based on the information provided by their staff, and now I'm left without a solution. I understand that pet damage may not always be covered, but being told one thing at the time of purchase and something completely different afterward is not acceptable. I would recommend that future customers get all policies clearly in writing before buying, as verbal assurances may not be honored.
