Came here to purchase construction paper and to have a worker cut the paper into strips so that I can go home and do my DIY project for my sons birthday. Only to be told to come back at four P.M. mind you I came here at one P.M. I looked at her and I'll look around and there's no other customers besides a printing machine printing orders that she's probably behind on. It doesn't take that long to cut paper. Doesn't matter how much they charge. I needed it done today. Then I proceed to ask her if there's a self cutter for me to use so I could do it myself! It took me less than 6 minutes and I was out the door. The customer service sucks here because it she's not able to do what I'm asking her to do. Another employee should be able to step in and help out and no one seems to know what they're doing. will not be coming here again. read more

I came early and got exactly what I needed. Just a quick print. They informed me of my options, self service vs. having the associate do the printing job for me. You just send your document/documents to the store email and let them know how many you want, in color or black and white and what kind of paper you want it on. It is so convenient to be able to drop in here or order online. Today I came to the store as I needed printer ink right away. Skye was my customer service representative today. She was so helpful & friendly and made a recommendation that saved me a little money. The store itself though is looking very tired and the floors not especially clean. Came here for some work related printing job which was done brilliantly by the lady helping at the business section with lighting speed . Very happy with her customer service and knowledge. The question is why not 5 star and the answer is due to their weird policy about rest rooms . It is is locked no big deal but they will not share the code with you and come and open the rest room for you . Why the answer is due to the homeless people rooming out side . So me as a customer has no trust to keep the code secret and will not share that code with homeless people out side . Really ??? read more

Office Depot is your specialty store for office supplies, school supplies, home supplies and electronics. Anything the office needs, you pretty much can find it here... you can even find coffee here. The downside to this store is it's pretty expensive. I was unable to find a 3" binder at Walmart or Target and my son needed it for school, so I had to get one here, the 3" binder cost us $15, and to me that's a bit overpriced. If I would have found it elsewhere I would've went elsewhere. The store in general is pretty nice inside and the store is kept organized. Don't go here to get anything "bound".... After waiting over an hour (no one was ahead of me either) they "bound" (I'll use the term loosely) my yearly planner..I think butchered would be the better term. I printed the pages out, gave them specifics for cut and binding, and walked away with.... this? The pages are cut completely unevenly, and made even more uneven by the uneven binding, the cover was cut smaller than the pages (has anyone ever seen a book like that?! ) the lamination on the cover is already splitting. Since I was waiting with my 2 month old I didn't even have the desire to argue over them charging me full price. Huge mistake I won't be making again. read more

I stood in line for about 20 mins at the printing station. The associate had his back to the registers and didn't acknowledge us the whole time, so I asked the couple that was waiting in front of me if they had been helped and they nicely said "yes". I was thinking, "okay so I'm next, then." After they got paid out, I stood in line and the associate Estevan helped a man that had JUST walked up on the other side of the printing station. Very rude to ignore a customer that had already been waiting a long time. I didn't care much until the man and associate struggled for another 10mins trying to find an email to print for the person that crowded in line. So, I obviously grew impatient. I was just going to pick up one paper that I had ordered online. I find it ridiculous to walk into a location and wait more than 30mins to print one piece of paper. This location needs more help on customer service and more employees stationed in busier areas of the store. read more

I went in to ship a package. There was one person working and a line of 5. I get being short staffed, so a prepared to wait. I was helped in about 10 minutes. I learned the were out of the packing supplies but I could buy my own and they would pack it. The unfortunate part was that the gal who helped me didn't know how to use the system to ship. She spent 30 minutes trying to figure it out. Since she was the only one there, she wasn't able to call anybody else. Finally someone came back from break. Instead of helping her when she asked, he helped people in line. He finally came over to help and was able to figure out and get the package shipped within 15. This whole experience was 60 when it should have been 30. They really need to staff people who can use the shipping system during the holidays. read more

Printing department is incompetent. Dropped off items on A Tuesday. Called Thursday to check on the status of the order, they hadn't even started it because they were "confused" about the order. Said they'd have it done by 5 p.m. that day after getting the details worked out. Went by, still not done. Said they'd have it done "early" the next day. Don't know how 5 p.m. qualifies as "early." Did not receive order until Saturday. I understand if you're short staffed, but don't quote a finishing time if you can't meet it. We run a business and do not have time to screw around with crap like this, especially when WE have deadlines. Stores carry like items so I can get the same things in different cities to get our offices set up and organized uniformly. Prices are OK. Seems like they are getting a handle on staffing. I received quick and friendly service today! I need 25 double sided copies. I forgot to say double sided, so of course when the tech handed me single sided copies, I was mad at myself. I agree to pay for those & asked him to run them again the right way, which he did with a smile. I understand that curbside pickup can be seen a lazy way of not going into the store and picking up items but when someone is injuries and request these services and no one shows up, then there's an issue. I'm a little on the injured side and waited for a box of 10 ream paper to get via curbside and after waiting that long and calling their curbside pickup line, I decided to go in and do it myself even though I'm injured. As I went inside struggling to pick it up, employees saw and didn't asked to help. I've never had an issue with the other stores in town, until this situation. You've failed me Office Depot. You were enticing with your easy online ordering and in store pickup option. Everything online was a breeze. All my office needs in one stop. But then you did me wrong. After paying online and receiving a confirmation that my order was ready for pickup, I packed up and shipped out (all of 2 miles) to my Office Depot store. As per the email, I was to find the Online Order Pickup signs and wait there was assistance. I did that. And then I waited.... and waited.... As an associate walked up to the kiosk I was thrilled to have finally received some kind of acknowledgement... Unfortunately that was short lived as he was just there to bring a paying customer to the register. As for me? Ignored again. I tried my best to act unaffected about the whole thing and continued to wait patiently. After what felt like forever the associate finally told me that it would be best if I waited in line. Wait.. what? But I paid! I was just there to pick-up! I did exactly as the email stated! No luck - I was to stand in line like the rest of the poor saps that buy in-person. Fail. read more

I run a small office 1 mile from this store and have always found it convenient to shop here.. Staff has always been very courteous and helpful. Will not cross their threshold again as suddenly my checks are no good. Their reader would not read the check so they would not take it. The check is drawn on a local bank. Manager was rude and even went so far as to say if anyone went beyond the norm to get previous checks to read they shouldn't have done so. Returned to my office and called our local stationary store Stinsons and my supplies will be delivered to my door in the morning.
