Several weeks back, my wife's 2 yr old, hire quality and expensive laptop would no longer charge. The computer manufacturer uses (as do many others) a very flimsy pin to connect to internal computer battery, et al to charge. With time, the connection no longer works even after wiggling that manufacturer claims may need a pricey new board. Well, guys at Clever Tech were able to use the extra USB-C port to charge with needed DC charger. All for $80 vs hundreds. Awesome job, highly recommended :-)

This past week my laptop all of a sudden the screen would blink, the word LOCK displayed, the…read morescreen then would go black, and finally the computer would turn off. Of course I googled LOCK and had no success what so ever. I googled and Clever Tech came up. I called and spoke to Kevin and told him I had a huge presentation the following week and I needed my laptop fixed. Kevin said bring the computer now. I brought it to him and he saw the problem. The great news is he called me and told me it was a corrupt video driver. Not only did he fix the driver, he cleaned my keyboard, and he cleaned up my startup sequence that was taking at least 5 minutes to boot my computer. It now takes about 30 seconds. I was only charged $119 that included a charge of $30 for expedited services. Clever Technology has won my future business and I have told at least 5 friends about my experience. Thank you Clever Technology for service beyond my expectations!

The problem I was having.......monitor every so often went blank. I did not know why. They gave me approx repair price with a 45 day warranty . When I picked it up it was supposedly 100% in working condition. I paid them approx. $350 and returned home.. the monitor not working. I asked for repairs to be made in accordance with warranty. I was told it all was working prior to my pickup. Therefore, no warranty. For an additional $150 they would come to my house and "check the environment " in which the unit was being used !? Why take a chance on some "unknown" guy from an ad? Choose Eddie and know you're getting someone who has the competence, reliability, and honesty to do things the right way. I've hired so many people in the past who absolutely suck at what they do! Its very frustrating. VERY glad I found Eddie (he was recommended to me by a business associate who always uses him). Wish I would've known about him a long time ago.

Goodwill Industries International Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides job…read moretraining, employment placement services, and other community-based programs for people who have barriers preventing them from otherwise obtaining a job. Goodwill hires veterans and people who lack education or job experience as well as those who face other employment challenges. Goodwill funds these efforts with a massive network of thrift stores which operate as non-profits as well. There are 2 Goodwill locations in Anderson. This is their flagship store because of its location on N Main Street and its exposure to higher traffic volume. The people who staff this store are friendly and helpful when you need them. The store itself is fairly well organized for a Goodwill (there is so much stuff with such a high turnover, I don't know how they keep any organization at all) There are some remarkable bargains to be had - like new men's blazer $5,,,,/// 10 hangars for $1, etc. They have televisions, computer stuff, housewares, clothing, beds (sometimes), exercise equipment (sometimes), etc. It's worth the trip just to see what is available, and everything you purchase goes toward their effort to help other folks get jobs. You can also donate your unwanted stuff and deduct it on your taxes. All you do is pull up under the awning and they will do the rest. They unload your box(es) and give you a blank receipt which you fill out later with whatever value you see fit to claim. They will take just about anything as a donation, so even if you think they won't take it, take it anyway and ask...you will be surprised what they will accept. Don't be shy about shopping at Goodwill. You will find many first quality products at drastically reduced prices, and shopping there helps put people to work who might not otherwise have a leg up. No shame there.
