He was close by, and his quote was much better than several others. Took it by, dropped it off, ran an errand or two and when I returned about 30 minutes late, it was done. They were able to quickly determine what would need to be fixed and what was still in working order. The price was competitive and they were able to get started immediately. We finished our shopping for the day and swung back by to pick up the repaired IPad. The shop is VERY VERY new, and they are still working to get the shop products on the shelves. Plus, they could have not done on the same day. They would have to order the parts in order to replace my screen. I also called several other chain screen repair shops. They wanted me to come in for a consultation before they would fix my phone. I was getting very frustrated. On Friday thinking I was just going to need to buy new phone with all the prices being between 160 and $200 for a screen repair. Friday, September 20 at 7 PM I decided to look 1 more time. I found this store (I fix and repair) inside the Cornelia Walmart. The store was open until 830. By the time I got there it was 8:05. I brought my phone in and showed the guy the damage. He was pleasant and told me he could get my phone repaired and out the door in about 20 minutes. He was a super nice person. This is a family business. And within 25 minutes he had me fixed with a new screen and screen protector and out the door for under $100. I believe if you would bring a phone to most places, and they only had 1/2-hour before they closed. That they would turn away business. Not this guy, he was like. You give me 20 minutes and I will get you taken care of. It is a small shop inside the Cornelia Walmart. They have accessories and phones to purchase inside their store as well. Was amazed when the shop refused to replace a $5 screen protector at no cost after customer was inconvienced for two days without a phone. To compound it, it was the phone owner's birthday with no phone, out of town, and attending a birthday party. Who doesn't want to take pictures at a surprise birthday party and then the next day for their own birthday lunch. Thanks for the customer no service. Up until the incident with protector, I thought the service okay. The lack of desire to fully repair the phone to me shows lack a respect for customer.

My tablet screen was broken and Jeff offered to repair/replace it, but had never done it before on that particular item and wouldn't guarantee the work. I took my chances with him and he did an excellent job. It is now many years later (2024) and I've had to move to a retirement village where we have an IT department which takes care of most of our IT needs. Unfortunately my old, 5SE iPhone which I need because of manual dexterity problems, couldn't be repaired by the new, young tech and ended up in worse shape than before. The floating Home button cannot be eliminated, the regular Home button which had been difficult to push is permanently stuck. It is now Friday evening and I'll have to wait until Monday to somehow get the phone down to Peak Wireless and have Jeff and his crew work their magic on it.
