I was called with the results from the diagnostic and was quoted an outrageous $250 for the repair and refused over the phone. The next day when I went to pick it up from the store there was brand new damage to the HDMI port that was not there when I dropped it off (broken metal casing and a broken pin). I am no longer able to even insert an HDMI cable all the way because of the broken pin and the console no longer connects to my TV (or any TV in the house) at all. Just know if you refuse a wildly priced service from them they will intentionally damage your device.

Was amazed when the shop refused to replace a $5 screen protector at no cost after customer was inconvienced for two days without a phone. To compound it, it was the phone owner's birthday with no phone, out of town, and attending a birthday party. Who doesn't want to take pictures at a surprise birthday party and then the next day for their own birthday lunch. Thanks for the customer no service. Up until the incident with protector, I thought the service okay. The lack of desire to fully repair the phone to me shows lack a respect for customer.

Turns out to be handy for replacement of this iPhone SE 2nd Gen for $75 deductible. We thought it was just a dead battery, so I was advised by the Asurion representative to take it to this location for evaluation, it was Monday. I was next in line. It took about 15 minutes for them to diagnose my phone and recommend the replacement option instead of a simple battery replacement. I contacted Asurion and received a phone in the mail on Tuesday. The box included materials to send the old phone back in a very simple process. It could not have been easier. Four stars only because their lobby had no seating area and had a video and audio commercial advertising their whole home insurance for every kind of device for only $25 per month. I also had to listen to the well crafted sales pitch each time I contacted them on the phone (twice). They ask what happened with the phone and ask leading questions about other devices in proximity and then try to sell you an insurance product on everything. They also make a big deal about prosecuting fraud, which makes one think that they could possibly be difficult to work with if your case is not just a straight up, straight forward, easy case. A 30 second looping advertisement, loudly broadcast, gets really old if you are waiting, even if it was only 15 minutes.

Several weeks back, my wife's 2 yr old, hire quality and expensive laptop would no longer charge. The computer manufacturer uses (as do many others) a very flimsy pin to connect to internal computer battery, et al to charge. With time, the connection no longer works even after wiggling that manufacturer claims may need a pricey new board. Well, guys at Clever Tech were able to use the extra USB-C port to charge with needed DC charger. All for $80 vs hundreds. Awesome job, highly recommended :-)

Of course I googled LOCK and had no success what so ever. I googled and Clever Tech came up. I called and spoke to Kevin and told him I had a huge presentation the following week and I needed my laptop fixed. Kevin said bring the computer now. I brought it to him and he saw the problem. The great news is he called me and told me it was a corrupt video driver. Not only did he fix the driver, he cleaned my keyboard, and he cleaned up my startup sequence that was taking at least 5 minutes to boot my computer. It now takes about 30 seconds.
