This is what I've seen so far: Missing items (I want these back): * 1 brown wicker cabinet w/4 drawers (2 on top, 20-1/2" W x 29-1/2 H x 16" D) (see attached which is similar). * 2 big boxes of books/miscellaneous. Furniture has damage (see attached). Squashed and ripped boxes (see attached). Footprints/marks on medicine containers (see attached). Dirt/marks on larger decorative bins (see attached). I reached out to Brandon several times to resolve this to no avail. Then there were disparaging messages from him (see attached). He says I'm a messy old lady (see attached). I had my truck and boat stored here for less than 2 months and then somehow someone stole both. Amazingly they are now claiming their cameras have been broke since I first moved in. No information on how someone got through the security gate. Take a strong warning and stay away from this place. My main thing is they advertise a security system that they obviously don't even have and then turn around and send me a notice that my rent is going to increase? Good luck with that. It's almost pitch black where my unit is as you can see in the photos and I've also said some thing about that numerous times. I went around to the side of the building and it looks like there's not even a meter there for the electric. I would not recommend this place whatsoever. This is a small town and I've spoken with so many people that know the code to get in this place. I've also told management about this as well. Before the Company eagle guard took over the gate code was 2017 and everyone is supposed to have their own individual code and it should be timestamp as to who goes in and when they come out. Unfortunately for some reason it's just so hard for them to change the code for this old one not to work in the whole town to be able to access anyone's unit. I think it's very selfish and wrong. They obviously do not care that an old access code that everyone in town seems to have still works to get in. I probably shouldn't post that but everyone knows anyway so who cares. My whole experience here has been nothing but drama since the new company took over and they claim they're doing renovations? It looks like garbage entering the property. Yes, it may be less expensive than other storage units around but I guess you get what you pay for right? Please go somewhere else and save your money and headache. There's a storage unit right up the road called Knight and Martin and they are super nice and there's also another place called River Road storage that's not very far away and they are very clean and the manager is very particular about the access codes and the security and who comes in and who comes out. I would definitely recommend those two storage units and please believe me when I say do not go to Eagle guard in Williamston, South Carolina. I have tried so hard to be nice and reason with management and it does me no good. She just doesn't care. So if you're a current tenant here I'll advise you to move out as soon as possible. If you are considering moving here then please DONT! I would spend the extra $10 a month and go elsewhere. Believe me, I would not waste my time and energy writing this big long review and attaching photos if it wasn't worth it or if what I was saying was not true. I would never post a bad review for the public to see if it was the non-truth.

They called to reconfirm that I was on time about an hour before the scheduled job.I was on time. FYI they didn't even call me to let me know they wouldn't be coming. I remained calm. I was given the excuse that they had another job that was running late. I said I'd wait for a while. But I was told I had to wait 6 hours and that was too long. I was given an airport analogy several times...If your airplane was late you'd just have to wait, you have no choice. Not sure how this applies to movers, but anyway... When I told them I had depended on them I was told, "what am I supposed to do? I'm okay if you call someone else". I took a deep breath as I looked at my very full 16' truck full of boxes and furniture and asked if I could get a recommendation since I was new to the area. I was very rudely told, "I don't give recommendations" and then CLICK. I was hung up on. If you want movers who will show up...DO NOT USE UPSTATE MOVERS. If you do, be prepared to have them back out at the last minute and treat you like garbage. I was able to ask neighbors for recommendations and was given the name of ACTION MOVERS. I had spent 2 hours calling on national companies who's price ranges differed greatly, who couldn't deliver on July 3rd and even one who charged me for the rental of a dumpster to then call me back and tell me they didn't have one to deliver. We work throughout SC and I dread having to call and get a dumpster. It is always so time consuming, you are lucky to get the dumpster dropped when you request and they take even longer to pick it up.
