I used marvelous movers to move me this past Saturday. They showed up on time with a large truck and four guys. Id just finished a total home renovation so the guys started at a climate control storage unit where id rented two 20x 30 units to store most of my belongings. They had everything moved out and on the truck by 11 o'clock and these units were packed to the rafters with heavy furniture and boxes! When they arrived at my home I had additional appliances like a washer, dryer, refrigerator and very heavy safe in my shop. They moved all that from my shop into my home first taking care while removing my doors to get everything in my kitchen, office and laundry room. They then started unloading the truck. I have furniture that is very old ( 30 years or more) and solid wood so most of my furniture is extremely heavy. I was very nervous because the moving company I'd used to move me out of the house for the renovation to begin didn't hang my doors back properly, scratched the hardwood floors, doorways and damaged appliances and furniture. Marvelous movers took great care not to scratch my walls or floors ( I had paper down on the floors in the high traffic areas) they also treated my furniture like it were their own. When they brought my furniture out of the storage unit they wrapped it in shrink wrap to ensure that the dresser drawers wouldn't fly open and the tops of the dressers and tables wouldn't be scratched. They also put all the glass items like glass table tops in my trunk or in their own personal vehicles to ensure it wouldn't be broken or scratched and wrapped them in blankets before they placed them there. Some of the doorways were tight and I didn't think they were going to get larger pieces into the rooms but they figured it out very quickly and made it happen! I had my contractor on site to hook up the refrigerator and other appliances and the guys took the refrigerator in and out of the space at least 3-5 times while we made the necessary adjustments to the feet to level up the refrigerator ( of course I was paying them to do so but they were technically finished unloading and could have left) while we were busy figuring out the refrigerator the two other guys didn't just stand around watching, they put together my beds and other furniture! My home was totally respected as was I and my belongings. I can't begin to say how disappointed I was in my previous movers and these guys totally renewed my faith in moving companies! There are good moving companies out there and marvelous movers are definitely exceptional at what they do! I would use them and recommend them again in a heartbeat! If your looking for a great team hire these guys! Im a real person and this is a real review. Just throwing that in there as I often wonder if other companies get friends and family to review them to highten their reviews and give them 5 stars. Thanks again for the great job you did for us! These guys are amazing! They helped us clean out a 100 year-old house, shop, and barn, so there was what seemed like an endless amount of stuff: every kind of junk, sale, donate, and keep all going in different directions. They handled everything with genuine good will, good manners, and professional expertise. We needed them to come out five different times to manage it all, and they kindly accommodated our scheduling needs while still managing bigger and more complicated long distance jobs. FABULOUS movers! I called with hours to spare as my son needed last minute moving assistance and they couldn't have been more helpful. Friendly and efficient would be understatements for the service they provided in a timely and efficient manner. I was booking them from overseas for our son, a student at Clemson Uni. I want to give young men 10 stars. They took really good care of our things today went straight to work. They helped yo get our washing machine hooked up and tv mounted. What really stood out to me was when my couch couldn't fit in the front door. They went around back to bring it up over our balcony. We now don't have to buy a new couch lol . I planned a move. These guys came out and provided me with great service. Did what they said they would do and didn't waste time. I didn't have a lot of stuff to move so it wasn't bad at all and I moved from Ninety Six to Greenwood so I guess the price was reasonable. They were very professional and efficient. These guys were awesome! They moved my grandparents furniture from my mom's house to my house. Heavy pieces from the 1960s. They arrived on time, polite, maneuvered without touching the walls, down a narrow flight of stairs with a 90 degree turn. I will definitely hire them again and highly recommend them! read more
