If I did not help, it would have taken 6 hours to load the truck. When I called to ask where was the 3rd guy they said they were trying to find another person. When I called to let them know I was not pleased, they said they also had other jobs. You can tell they do not have many workers and are spread too thin. What really bothered me is I am a Clemson Grad and wanted to support a local company and they did not really care. I would not recommend this moving company if you want someone reliable!

When the bill came, it looked as though both charges were still there, so I called to ask why. This time, my charges were calculated differently. Now it was essentially $150 labor, $150 travel, and $50 fuel surcharge, totaling $350. That means they charged me $200 to drive 15 miles. Even if they came and returned from the same headquarters-- 30 miles away-- that's high, and I'd be willing to bet they went from job to job but charged every customer the "travel and fuel surcharge" as if they made every trip from their headquarters. Once here, they did a good job! But be advised that they have a different system for quoting than they have for charging, which result in a higher-than-quoted price. That left this customer feeling manipulated. Honesty would be a better policy.

The furniture was wrapped at that point. when they unloaded there was BLACK streaks all over my couches. my big couch was broken in the center. there is black dust all over the couches. They broke four bookshelves. several pieces of glass cause there is glass all throughout as I unloaded. The topper is while they were in my home and used the restroom one of them left a middle finger on my bathroom wall in the black dust. I hired my own packer/unpacker on both ends which took about 2-3 hours. I was unsure whether I needed one POD or 2 and the best deal offered was I could order 2 but only be charged for what I used. The second POD was 1/2 the cost of using 1. This was very helpful. The only area that could use improvement is the customer service information by phone. I was concerned about my driveway getting damaged and one person told me they put a heavy rubber sheeting down under it for protection. Another call later said they put nothing under it. The answer is they put nothing under it but the operators were careful and no damage was made to my driveway. It was also by accident that I found out reading on line about ordering 2 pods but only being charged for what you use. If the initial representative had given me this information, it would have saved me time and stress. I would definitely use them again.

The local hub employees on both ends of our move were just as helpful and accommodated a couple of special requests without hesitation. We moved from Florida to Georgia and the price we paid for U-Pack was less about half of what it would have cost to use U-Haul or Penske and then we would still have to drive the trucks and pay for fuel. I can't say enough about how great an experience this was. The only thing that would have made it better is if they would have loaded and unloaded the truck for me!!

They didn't complain once about having to go up and down 3 flights of stairs with my mom's very heavy Ethan Allen furniture! The only time they were not working was while we were driving back to Greenville from Candler, NC where my mom's apartment was.
