Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. I will complete my review tomorrow It is tomorrow William and team got it done. Very happy with every aspect and the final bill came in under the estimate. I can't say enough good stuff here. From the moment they arrived, they got right to work and did not waste a single minute. I was honestly impressed by how quickly they packed/moved everything while still being careful with my furniture & boxes. What could have easily been a long, exhausting day turned into one of the smoothest moves I've ever had. They were respectful, friendly, hardworking, and worked incredibly well as a team. As a busy nurse who's juggling work, grad school, and life, I truly appreciated how seamless they made this process. Their professionalism and work ethic did not go unnoticed. Avoid them at all costs! 7/14: Yes, accidents happen, we understand that and asked your company to make good on them. A $120 gesture of "goodwill" isn't reimbursement in full, it's a slap in the face that we refused. If there's truly a reimbursement in full for the brand new dresser and trench I will update this review again. If not, I'll update this with the communications from your staff.

David in the office told me what to expect when I booked and answered all my questions: it all went exactly as he said it would. I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money. They were transparent with everything and took great care of me. I will happily hire them again whenever I need labor, junk removal, or moving services.

My experience was extremely disappointing. During my move, an accent chair that cost $1,874…read moredisappeared and was never delivered to my new home. I reported it to the lead mover the same evening I realized it was missing. He apologized and told me they must have forgotten it somewhere at my apartment complex. When I later obtained the building's surveillance footage, it showed one of the movers carrying my chair after it came off the elevator. The lead mover confirmed the person in the video was one of his employees. Despite this, the chair has never been recovered. I declined the additional valuation coverage because the lead mover assured me I didn't need it and told me they wouldn't damage my furniture during the move. I never imagined I needed coverage for a chair disappearing entirely while it was in the movers' possession. After reviewing the situation, the Operations Manager called me, apologized, and told me he agreed with me that the company was completely in the wrong for what happened. However, Vladimir, who is both the owner and the manager handling claims, has refused to take responsibility for losing my chair and has refused to compensate me for its value beyond offering $36. There were other issues during the move as well. The truck they sent wasn't large enough to complete our move, forcing us to leave boxes, plants, and other belongings behind to move ourselves. In addition, the movers smelled strongly of marijuana after arriving at our new home, which was very concerning. This entire experience has been stressful and incredibly disappointing. Losing an expensive piece of furniture is one thing, but the lack of accountability afterward has been even worse. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to think twice and carefully review the paperwork before trusting them with their belongings.

The house that we moved from needed to be staged and attractive to potential buyers. The apartment we were moving into was only one third the size of the house. We needed to sort through all our belongings to see what items should come with us to Miami and what items needed to be thrown out or taken to Goodwill. On top of everything else, I am a painter who owes 62 painted canvases that would have to be moved. Many of which were 4' by 6' in size and like most artist, my work is precious to me. Fortunately my wife and I knew Felicia. We knew she had many years of moving experience and we knew that she prides herself on helping people make a smooth and easy transition from one living situation to another. Additionally, Felicia has much experience setting up homes and a wonderful eye for color and laying out interior spaces. As we hoped, Felicia did a lovely job staging our Asheville home. On her recommendation, we painted the interior, bought new lampshades and some inexpensive accessories. We were thrilled with how the house looked and quite sad that we were going to have to move. Felicia boxed all our belongings and was very attentive to packing the truck to best facilitate an organized and quick unpacking in Miami. I could not have found anyone else who would have so lovingly packed my artwork. All 62 pieces were wrapped in thick moving paper and placed in a hand cut box precisely fitting the canvas. In addition to all of this, Felicia worked diligently at our Miami apartment to make sure that my disabled wife had all her needs addressed from day 1. I have no question that we could not have found anyone who would put so much effort and care in helping us to successfully make what was a very difficult transition. I can recommend Felicia without reservation. I believe her to be a genuinely caring person that will do everything possible to make your move simple and carefree. We're living in a new world where it's wonderful to see women starting and running their own businesses and we feel it is important to support these businesses. Felicia is a strong and determined woman, exactly the type of woman who can create and succeed in building a business in this totally male dominated moving industry. Spend five minutes talking with her and you'll find yourself rooting for her success. I know we are.

I recently hired Top Dog for a move -- and it turned out to be the worst decision I've made all year. During the move, one of the movers entered my private bathroom without asking permission. He remained in there for several minutes, during which I was still being charged for his time. This was not only unprofessional but also a clear violation of boundaries. When I called the company to address the matter, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. The representative told me he "didn't see a problem" and compared the situation to letting a mover use his own bathroom. I explained that my bathroom had been professionally cleaned the day before -- and I had not even used it myself yet. I requested they arrange for it to be cleaned again, but my concern was brushed off. I was told they would "call back after speaking with the worker," but I never received any follow-up. No apology. No offer of resolution. No discount. Nothing. This company demonstrated a complete lack of respect for its customers and their property. Based on my experience, I strongly advise avoiding Top Dog for any moving needs.
