Overall, food was OK. Decent bar food and I am being picky. Oh and they have cider on tap. Yeah! The score is really for the event. If I would update the food and such it would be a bit lower. The server was good. He had a lot of tables and was working hard. Props to him. Prices are average. Lots of specials and things going on. It's like it's named. Local bar. Event/show was great! This past visit I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to try the special lasagna soup and it was excellent. It genuinely tasted just like lasagna in soup form and was perfect comfort food. My oldest son ordered the Smokehouse Pulled Pork sandwich with hickory smoked pulled pork, house BBQ sauce, pickles, and served on a challah bun with fries and house slaw. My husband went with the chef's special smash burger, which he really enjoyed as well. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. The bar doesn't have a kitchen, rather they rely on sweet basil to deliver food next-door. Sweet basil has wonderful pizza and food however, on a Saturday night they closed at 8 PM. That's not the bar's fault, but it's something to be aware of if you plan on going to eat there.
