Absolutely exceptional experience at Haywire in Plano! From the food to the atmosphere, everything…read morewas fantastic, but our waiter, Marcus, truly made the experience stand out. He was phenomenal! He had the perfect sense of humor, was witty and quick with a joke, and knew exactly how to keep the conversation going. He was also incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. His personality and service made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I started with the fried green tomatoes, which were delicious. For my main course, I ordered the steak and eggs from the brunch menu, and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was exactly how I ordered it, and the eggs were great. we went upstairs to the third-floor rooftop to drink our dessert! I had the espresso martini, and it was fantastic. The rooftop has great views and is such a fun way to end the meal. Overall, Haywire exceeded expectations. Great food, great atmosphere, an awesome rooftop, and phenomenal service. Marcus deserves a special shoutout because he absolutely made our visit memorable. We will definitely be back!

Wanted a nice evening with our son, but we couldn't even hear each other speak due to the cover band playing LOUD. Love music, but not when we looked forward to visiting and we all left with headaches. Now, our server was excellent and we left him a 25% tip because seating us was out of his control. Not the experience we paid for.

Came here to meet some friends for a Sunday brunch on a warm October morning. We sat on the patio…read moreand enjoyed the lovely fresh air. Our waiter took great care of us, was accommodating with our requests, and split our checks with ease. My wife's Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich was really good she said. The biscuit itself wasn't dry and everything served with it was on point. Her only issue with it was that it wasn't hot and the potatoes that were served with it weren't very crispy. My Hangover Burger looked beautiful on the plate, the sunny side up egg was cooked right, and the bacon was crispy and good. I did notice whatever sauce it was served with on top was separating and broken. Aside from that, no real issues. It was tasty and I ate the whole thing. If you need a place to hole up for brunch, The Common Table isn't a bad choice at all.

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night. We actually were headed to a different restaurant in…read morethe Star District but we got diverted by the eclectic menu which had something for everyone. It's a sports bar and restaurant, and the World Cup was going on so it was a bit loud, but it was ok (although the kid complained, but she is at the age that she complains a lot). There is a nice selection of beers and cocktails. The menu has variety with sandwiches, flatbreads, a long list of apps, and other bar type food. We started with the queso and chips, which we thought would come out first. The queso could use some kick as it was very mild. The chips were excellent: light, crispy, and not at all greasy. The wife had a buffalo chicken flatbread and really liked it, she at it all. I had a chicken Philly and really enjoyed it. The chicken was thinly sliced and very tender. There were lots of different peppers and melted queso, so it was a very tasty, gooey, messy sandwich that I thoroughly enjoyed. The fries were crispy and excellent, very addictive. Our server, Addy, was pleasant and efficient. Prices are reasonable. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the kitchen sent the "starter" (queso and chips) out at the same time as the entrees, so we were faced with the dilemma which food to let get cold. It should not be that way. My understanding of "starter" is that it comes out before the main courses. Anyway, that was the only blip. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at the food quality and enjoyed our dinner.
