Always a friendly employee to help you and answer questions. They give samples which is nice. They also have a lot of things you cant find at a big box pet store. My dog was sick and wasnt eating and they helped me find different toppers, treats and powders to stimulate her appetite. Very much appreciated. read more

LOVE IT! Randomly found and turned around. Janiese was SUPER helpful, Jeremiah's a sweetheart and every member of the staff was welcoming. So many brands I'd never heard of (and I'm pretty aware of the high end, additive free stuff). Toys were also adorable! We have a moratorium on anymore toys rn but I def wanted to get him a few. Amazing selection and the prices were on par. Got a nice little selection for picky pants to snub. They have a rewards program and accept returns! What more can you ask for. Janiese also gave a couple treats, mindful of his allergies and the additives he doesn't eat. You can tell she truly cares. She's a cat lady too so I'm already a fan! I love this place. Not only are Matt and his entire crew incredibly helpful and friendly, they are also extremely knowledgeable about animals. I actually feel like I've saved money (as well as stress) from taking our dog Fred to the vet because of good advice we've gotten at Off the Leash. It's very comforting knowing that they truly care about the health of animals as well, and so they only carry high-quality products with good ingredients. It also feels good to support a local, independently owned business. I can't express my gratitude enough for this place. The owners are so extremely caring and knowledgeable. The foods offered here are obviously thoughtfully curated. The selection here isn't even offered at major retailers like Petco. THIS stuff is good. I have a tight budget but they were so helpful in explaining all kinds of ways I could rethink the way I feed my cats (most cat food out there has a bunch of fillers which is not healthful, as they are obligate carnivores!) They also offer CBD pet products. I called in a panic because the facility I got my cat spayed at did not provide pain meds for post-op, and I did not want to put her through a vet visit afterward to get pain meds. Off the Leash came to the rescue with info about pet CBD... which will save my cat a lot of stress/inflammation and will save me a lot of anxiety. Today, Stanley was on a hunger strike since one of his dads was out of town. In the words of many mothers, my kitchen is not a restaurant, and since he gets rehydrated or frozen raw food I can't just leave it out for him. So I took my frustrations on a Target run, but alas no one there wanted to listen to me vent about my dog. Matt and Raven are not only extremely knowledgeable, but so very kind and compassionate. We have found loyal friends in them and our puppies are now even play mates (we love you, Daisy). We are weekly (sometimes more, I have no self control) visitors and it's the best part of our week. They truly care about the well being of your pet and will only want the best. So you can imagine how happy I was to see a new pet shop open in Glendale!! Theres a HUGE selection here of pet food, treats, toys, collars, grooming supplies, pet health and wellness products, I was so impressed with their selection! They also carry hard to find products like artisanal pet goods, and toys and toys and treats I've never seen anywhere else! So that makes me doubly happy to support a small business as well as local makers and crafters they carry! Totally curated pet products! The owners are super friendly and helpful and even sent me home with some sample treats to try for my dogs (which they loved!!)! I purchased a beautiful handmade Mexican serape bed and a rare find blush pink serape blanket (both locally sourced from a WOC small business in LA!!) I got it for my girl dog but I ended up using it for myself! I love their assortment of treats for dogs, esp that they have super soft treats too for dogs without any teeth! On my second visit I picked up a soft collar for my younger dog and some new soft toys. She usually tears through them in 30min, but they carry a specific brand for tough chewers! Heaven!! Best. Pet. Shop. Ever. Once we entered through the door, their "just let us know if you have questions" felt very genuine! We just adopted our cat and we've been VERY type-A about his food. The store has brands/flavors/proteins that can't be found anywhere else. It's obvious they actually screen the brands they sell. Everybody was soooo knowledgable, not just about store products but about specific ingredients, pet needs, questions, etc. It's not the closest pet store to us, but we've already decided to make the drive to stay loyal lol.
