We get the pass through my employer or at the Prana Carlsbad Outlet store. (Just ask when you make a purchase). If you're a senior you can go on Tuesdays or the military has access year round with proof of affiliation. Brands that are on offer are: Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, prAna, and SOREL. Items offered are anything from women's workout wear to fleece jackets, puffer jackets, jeans, hiking/travel pants, shirts, vests, T-shirts, beanie hats, socks, blankets, yoga mats and more. The store is located in a business park setting with free parking. They're open 10am-7pm every day of the week. You first check-in with the front desk where they will check your pass and then you're free to wander the store which is a large warehouse type setting. Fitting rooms are available to try things on. Restrooms are located at the front near check-in. We've typically been going a few times a year over the last 5 years or so. It's hit and miss -- sometimes we spend a few hundred and other times walk out with nothing. Size selections vary. Stock does change, but I also see the same staples there all the time. The merchandise is discounted, but is still pricey due to the fact the brands on offer are pricey brands to begin with. (i.e. these are not TJMaxx kind of prices!) If you're into the outdoors, camping, hiking, traveling, working out and you can get your hands on a pass (or go Senior Tuesdays or are in the military) check this store out! Note: The store is always freezing cold, so go prepared! Helpful?

I've been getting invites to come shop here for years and finally had a reason. I'm really happy I came, pretty much outfitted myself from head to toe. They have far more than cold weather gear... there is performance sports wear for running, fishing, camping, etc. Service is very friendly and the value is incredible.

The front staff was super friendly, helpful, and actually takes the time to talk through what you need without making you feel rushed. Actually even refilled my water bottles on a really hot day. The mechanics? Let's just say... clearly know their stuff on tires and cycling they bring some serious swagger to the shop Bikes coming out of there look dialed. They can wax my chain anytime! Only knock--and honestly more funny than anything--was the owner (Jerry?) trying to sell me on an Orbea like his life depended on it Respect the hustle, but I wasn't quite ready to commit! I love my Bianchi. All in all, great shop with good people and good vibes. Definitely coming back.

This was months ago. I decided to try again, with a different bike and tire so I looked up hours and saw open at 9am, I was at the parking lot at 9:15 am on a Monday, and it was closed. I waited about 20mins or so and nope- no one came to open the store. I took my money down to the new e-bike store where the Jacked Up Brewery once was- but across the lot. They were quick and OPEN at the time the hours posted said. I tried to support local businesses in town but can't when they don't open for services. Boo

Mens District - Trying on suits...not my color but beautiful suit!

Ziad at the…read moreCarlsbad location screwed up my order by giving me the wrong suit, calling me and telling me it's ready when it's not, so I'm waiting for an extra time for him to make the alterations. I call him prior to leaving the city and asked him if he's sure we don't need to do the alterations on the 2nd tan suit that was ordered. He assured me all is well and completed. Im busy running errands so I took him on his word and didn't check the garment bags (black bags, not translucent so i could've seen it at a glance). Ziad then calls me and asks whats the name on my 2nd suit. Red flag; the suit was for another customer and my suit is still at the store. After failed negotiations for some cheap trinkets, I tell them just refund me so we can all move on. After many attempts to speak with the elusive and disrespectful con artist "Mike" (employee Ziad claimed to not know his managers last name), spoke over me disrespectfully, disregarding the level of unprofessionalism and incompetence Ziad performed, flipping the narrative saying I threatened the employees. So now I am escalating this situation and taking it to their corporate office and the mall headquarters. Do not to business with companies that do not refund their customers, EVEN WHEN THE EMPLOYEES MAKE ENORMOUS MISTAKES IN VOLUME. TERRIBLE BUSINESS WITH SHADY PEOPLE. I hope no one else falls victim. I will now be taking legal action against the company. These pictures support my evidence.

When I came inside I was not greeted and the male employee or owner working here wasn't super welcoming, but I got what I needed so it didn't matter too much to me. I had gone to Men's Warehouse before this and they didn't have my size shirt (smaller) and they told me to come here. I needed a grey button up dress shirt and I got the perfect one in my size! The shirt cost around 30 dollars, maybe 35, I can't remember, but it was a good price for a dress shirt. They also have belts, shoes, ties, bow ties, coats, hats, all that jazz. I will definitely be back!
