Am I the only one with problems here? Every one else seemed to rave about the great customer…read moreservice here, and I must say that yes, I have had GREAT customer service here from a GUY working- he's super flamboyant and just, awesome! But besides that, I seriously have had issues. And I buy shoes, a LOT. Specifically Aldo shoes. I came here this afternoon to return a pair of shoes I bought with the guy here last time that I had ordered at the store online... After going to UTC without my receipt and being denied a return, I called Aldo got all the info and came back here. Great thing was the manager didn't even give me a hassle...but... She was really rude! Like I've had her before, and she's the manager and I'm sorry but (not) she rubs me the wrong way. I believe last time I came I had really crappy service from her and this time, I even remembered her (I think I may have given her a slight piece of my mind last time) and so I tried to be diplomatic.... Unfortunately it started from the get go... She asked me 21 questions. She brought out the shoes I needed but gave me a cap at 4 shoes and wouldn't bring out another pair until I decided to remove a pair (that I hadn't even tried on yet) and made a point of telling me she does it because her store is "small"... Um, I've been to many Aldo stores and they're all SMALL, If I want to try on 5 pairs of shoes I will- what if I want them all (this is very well possible with me)... I didn't fight her on this though... She came back within like 3 minutes asking me if she could take any away (to give me the others) and I hadnt even put on the left shoe for the first ones I was trying on #fail...and when I calmly (ooooh as calmly as I could) told her, I was working on the first still...she got kind of defensive... Like she was slightly annoyed... Long story short, I found the shoes I wanted. I tried to be as nice as possible but I almost walked out and just returned cuz she gave me the worst service, and unfortunately the other girl there did too. I felt like I was being scrutinized for being there and like I wasn't to be trusted with even the bag of shoes I had initially bought because she took those from me from the get-go... And again, upon closing the sale...I had a 15% email signup and she even asked me if I had used one already and noted that I already used on the last ones... Like SO rude. As a customer, please don't belittle or insinuate anything. The point of service is to be nice and make sure I'm happy. And yes that I don't steal anything but I've been in here so many times by now that they should literally know me as customer of the week LOL. So...at the end of the day, I'm spending money and if I want to use three/four/five or ten coupons, as long as they work so be it. The point is to get me coming back. I seriously almost want to write a letter to corporate on this. Only cuz it's so lame! I love Aldo so I'll keep buying their shoes but looks like my main store is gonna be UTC from now!

I'm even more impressed with how they are extremely responsive to calls and texts. From both the owner and the installers. They were with me the whole way; from purchase, to delivery, to setup. I was always kept updated. The sauna was delivered around 5PM on a Friday and during setup, one of the installers noticed one part of the front wall panel was incorrect. Before I knew it, the installer was on his way for a replacement. I live in La Mesa and could not believe that the installer drove all the way back to San Carlos, to pickup up the correct part, and drove all the way back to La Mesa (on a Friday evening), just so I could have my sauna installed that day. They stayed late to make sure everything was installed correctly. Now that's customer service! The quality of my sauna is exceptional. Very well made, comfortable and should last for years. The heater was included and is of a top brand. I will definitely do business with this company again.

I recently came in for 2 more sets of sunbrella cushion covers, which are also a huge bargain compared to anywhere else. The furniture they sell looks exactly like the stuff at Costco. They all so carry bbq's and lots of other cool stuff. Do your wallet a huge favor and come in to see their selections. We bought two separate sets, 11 pieces in total and we still got it for less than what one 5 piece set would have cost us at other stores. Plus each set comes with two sets of cushion covers.

I went there yesterday and bought my…read moredaughter a pair of shoes size 5 (she's a size 4-4.5 depending on the shoes) but got them a little bigger so it can last her, she was not with me at the time. The shoes costed $51 something with tax. I thought it was a little pricey but I just wanted to get over the school shopping list and head on home. We got home she tried them on and they were super tight! Went in today to return them and they said they were non returnable (it did say that on the receipt) but did not notice that until today, we could only exchange to make matters worst they did not have any bigger size of the one we had chosen. Their selections are limited. So we just settled for a different color pair and the size that actually for her from this store location was a size 6. Found it weird since she's only 8 yrs. My point is ... I've came to this location several times before and never had any issues, yes it's my fault for not taking my kid to try them on before making any type of purchase and for not reading the return policy. I would just recommend to go to an actual Vans store or Tillys or any other store that will return your money because they could have been cheaper. I don't think I've spent more than $45 including tax on Vans but at least if I was not happy with my purchase I would be guaranteed money back and more and better selections.
