I sent Angus (2yr old -GSD) to the 2 week board and train program in August 2018; he had bad manners (jumping, incessant barking, leash pulling) and issues with dogs that concerned us. We dropped Angus off with Joe, who was quick to put our minds at ease. He showed us where Angus would be staying for the two weeks and explained everything about the training. We knew we left Angus in good hands. We received daily updates (photos and videos) via text which we loved. We were amazed how quickly he was learning his new commands and how well behaved he was (proud parents lol) Angus was a different dog when we picked him up. He was well behaved and quick with his commands. We took him and our other Shepherd to the local park; both were off leash and so well behaved. Angus stayed by my side in a perfect heel. It's been almost 8 months since his training and I've noticed -- without even asking him-- that he heels next to me as I walk. We enjoyed our 9-session training package with our puppy who was a little over a year old and displaying fear-based reactivity toward strangers (humans). Our trainer was very understanding, relatable, knowledgeable, and positive. We learned practical techniques for managing him in public and building a positive relationship with him. They are fantastic! Took our rescue Morris, and although he is a lovable oaf and generally listens, sometimes he decides he won't. And when people come over, he can get VERY excited, and sometimes appears aggressive. Kelsy Horn was our primary trainer and was so good. Very patient with us, explaining the rationale for everything we are doing. Morris has been so much better since!!!! We are still working at perfecting the heel command, but it is like everything else, if you keep on top of the training, it will pay off. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for and we feel it was worth every penny! No regrets at all!!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!!! read more

We started with off leash training because we have a German Shepherd that needed a confidence booster. we really wanted to see her be more obedient when it comes to being outside. Her confidence is still rising and her obedience really picked up. I would recommend this place to anybody that really wants to put in the time to help their dog become a more obedient and confident pooch. The trainers are great, they really take their time to explain the entire training process and how it impacts the dogs learning and thought process. It really helps you understand how to succeed with your canine. It's extremely helpful to have trainers that really know what they're talking about. Off Leash Training rocks!!! Meagan was Murphy's trainer and I could not be any happier with the training he received!! She is excellent and really cares for and about your dog! He was a sweet playful dog that had all of the typical puppy behaviors - pulling on the leash, jumping up to greet people, short attention span etc. We did the 2 week board and train and he came back to me the same sweet, happy puppy but MUCH better behaved. I am so thrilled with the strides that my 1 year old pup, Plum, has made during her time working with Offleash K9 Training (Trainer Kelsey is awesome!!). The 8-lesson program was so ideal, as the first 4 lessons allowed me to fine-tune her commands, and helped her gain more confidence, and the last 4 lessons allowed us to work on her specific problem-areas out in public! Two commands that have come in handy in my day-to-day life are "place" and "heel". No more begging for food at the dinner table (she stays in "place"), and no more pulling on walks! We are finishing up the dog reactivity program, and used the last 4 lessons to go out in public and work around dogs. She was always friendly as long as she could sniff or play with dogs, but would get frustrated and reactive when passing a dog on a walk without saying hi. Now, we pass dogs without pulling, lunging or barking! I used to get anxious when I'd see a dog we would have to pass, but now that worry is gone! Plum is also now able to enjoy some off leash time. Before the ecollar, Plum was 0% reliable off leash, as she would run off to explore. It's so nice being able to trust her off the leash now. Trainer Kelsey gave me the tools and knowledge that I needed to have better communication with my dog. It's truly changed our relationship; she was a completely different dog 3 months ago! When I got my dog Emerson,a wire haired pointer Griffon, he was 8 weeks old and from day one with me he was my whole reason for living. I let him do whatever he wanted. Therefor I am responsible for what became a total "little terror" He is 10 months now. He would not listen to "ANYTHING " I said ~~"sit-- come here--stay--no-- stop!" NOTHING he ruled this house! He was only about 45 pounds when I could not take him for a walk. He would drag me right down to the ground, cutting my legs so I had to keep him in the house since January, only to go into the fenced in yard to wet. The yard used to have beautiful grass--now it is solid mud--to say nothing of the 4 foot deep holes he dug.It broke my heart to have this wild boy confined to a home not enjoying people and life and other dogs. Oh believe me I tried getting help-my first trainer charged $150.00 and hour showing me how HIS dog knew commands in German. Emerson didn't listen to English why would I care about German? The second trainer SCREAMED at me for telling Emerson "stop it" when Emerson was eating my couch instead of saying "leave it!". My third trainer told me Emerson was so out of control that Emerson would have to come to her every week for two years! Emerson also dragged her face down to the ground!( I cheered) Then I saw the videos from Off Leash K 9 training!!! I thought this can NOT be real--how is this even possible? Not one person I know could ever imagine anyone could EVER help Emerson he was so "wacky" They wanted to take bets--no one believed this would work!! He is super high energy! Well I've got news for ALL OF YOU!!! I brought my boy to Amanda at Off Leash Training and Emerson is "CURED!!" It is totally REMARKABLE! He is a brand new boy! I may even put Amanda in my will!! That is how much I LOVE OFF LEASH TRAINING! I got videos every night to stay close to him and see how he progressed every day--they were my life line to him and photos! There are not enough adjectives to describe Emerson now after only two weeks with Amanda! He sits--he comes--he doesn't touch anything he should not--and I can walk him IN STORES on trails and he walks right by other dogs without jumping on them to play! He is a hunting dog by nature (but I won't have him ever hunt) and he actually SAT and watched a squirrel eat nuts for five minutes. Who could ever train a hunting dog to sit and watch birds and squirrels without flying after them? OFF LEASH K 9 Training did!! You have to understand NONE of this was EVER possible-He is a BRAND NEW LITTLE BOY and now he is happy and we have the best life imaginable. This was the best money I EVER spent in my life. Quite honestly $2800.00 is a very very LOW price for what they have accomplished with Emerson-You must watch Emerson's before and after video. It will settle ANY questions you may have --Talk about professional and so kind--Amanda loved my boy as though he was her own and that goes a long way with me! Every one is SHOCKED at how Emerson has taken this phenomenal training and brought it right home with him. I am out of my mind ecstatic with my boy and off Leash K 9 Training. She was extremely accommodating and always answered my phone calls when I needed her. She was super nice to Hooper during training and after only 4 weeks, he is a better dog. Total gamechanger for our family. We are crazy busy and needed help with getting our puppy Ruby trained. I was super nervous that she would come back different - but she came back happier and more playful than ever. Just obedient. She loves when I put the collar on to take her for a walk outside off leash. Now birds and squirrels and other dogs can run by and she hangs tight with me in heel. My arms don't hurt from getting pulled on and I think I can even let her stay with my 75 year old mother now (her fondest wish to have her GrandPuppy) b/c she won't increase her risk of fall. My Coton de Tulear had completed the training program offered by Petsmart through the advanced obedience class and had already earned her Canine Good Citizen. However, her stability with commands was spotty, she sometimes didn't obey, and she would lunge and bark at some dogs with no apparent trend. Cassie helped substantially improve my puppy's stability and adherence to commands. She also helped identify why my dog would lunge and bark. Cassie has been amazing with my dog and with helping me understand her, and I think my dog's confidence has increased as a result of this training. I'm so glad to have started training with Off Leash K9 Training, Lehigh Valley and have recommended, and will continue to recommend, them to my friends. read more

We rescued a Great Dane puppy a month before we found out we were expecting our third baby. Needless to say as the "puppy" grew, he was using our original two children as bowling pins. Very sweet boy but didn't know his own strength. I put it over to the powers that be- Off Leash K9 LV- and We we're paired with Tony who took our troublemaker from a bowling ball to a perfectly behaved gentleman. We were very nervous about leaving him for a length of time and also worried we would lose our fun-loving boy for a rigid pup, but he came back AWESOME. Knows his stuff. LISTENS.
