Although my boyfriend and I cleaned our plates entirely with no crumbs leftover (just sauce marks lol), we felt like our food was just okay. When I saw Thai Cashew Noodles on the menu, I envisioned a thicker noodle diameter. But instead I had thin spindly ones. Also the thai cashew sauce was good, but it was pretty watery. I wish it had a thicker consistency. But I did like how the veggies tasted fresh and the avocado was so creamy. For the price ($20 CAD), I was expecting a pretty large portion but I was able to finish my whole entree. I normally have food leftover whenever I go out to eat, but I was surprised that I finished everything. With this price being the most expensive on the menu, I was let down. He chose the 10 oz. rib eye steak and enjoyed it very much. It came with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. I ordered the prime rib dip which had tender slices of prime rib with mushrooms, red peppers and melted cheese and a special sauce which was delicious. For my side I chose the tossed salad with balsamic vinaigrette, the portion was a nice size. I wasn't expecting anything fancy but no coffee at all was a shock that cost them one star (that means if you don't want coffee you can consider this a 5 star rating). We asked for cups of tap water but they didn't have cups either. He eventually offered us free bottled water so we would have something to drink. That was very nice of them. I ordered the southwestern chicken wrap. It was delicious. It also had quite a bite to it because of the hot peppers. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. I can certainly recommend this wrap to anyone. My partner ordered the fried egg sandwich from the breakfast menu. She really liked it. Washrooms were large and clean. There was a steady stream of people coming and going at 11:00 am so at noon it must be crazy busy. There's a few bar seats at this location but it's best to take your food to go. At this particular location (there's 4 locations now!) there's no accessible entrance (nor exit). Kind of baffles my mind on why they didn't build a ramp with the newer set of stairs at the exit door. I even made the comment that it's really too bad they don't use the order window on the side (like they did in the pandemic), for us that need to avoid the challenge of stairs. There's also no railings on the steps, so be sure footed in wet & winter conditions (even if you're not disabled). So as much as I love the food & coffee at Farrow, I have to leave it as it's a place I'm going to only on a randomly decent mobility day for the knees & legs.

At $8.95 it's a real bargain. I enjoyed the coffee. It's better than the average restaurant coffee. By 11:30 on Saturday the café was quite busy; not full yet but certainly busy. This must be a favorite with the locals in the north west. If you like traditional breakfasts you'll like it here. They are my go to dishes and they never disappoint. Tons of fresh ingredients locally sourced I feel like it's healthier than other fast food joints. The onion rings are probably some of the best in edmonton. They come freshly battered and seasoned. And I love putting some in my burgers too! I recently tried this place for the January $2 classic burger special and man was it an amazing deal. For $2 it was awesome to support local since I ordered so much extras..the cook actually thought it was for 2 people. Lol. I just have bigger eyes than a stomach! Pro tip: add the onion rings to your burger. It makes it so much more delicious!
