Leather welt detail
Dillon F.

Highly, highly recommend this place to get work done on leather boots. I brought in my beat-up Thorogoods for a new leather welt and full resole. The quality of work done is incredible, especially at a very reasonable price point. The boots look fantastic and will be good for years to come. I will 100% be coming back here in the future when my other boots need work done!

Suede boots with silk toe cap.

I took a pair of suede and silk toe boots in to be spiffied up. I asked for new heel tips, new sole, fix toe tips and generally clean up the boots. I picked them up and I am very pleased with the service. They look very good. All fixed up very nicely. The owner of the store is pleasant to work with. I believe the value is very good. I am very happy and will return.

I had patches sewn onto my motorcycle vest & jacket. Fast service, impeccable stitching, reasonable prices. The finished product looks like store bought. I've been a customer of Odsy for years, if the quality was unsatisfactory I wouldn't be a repeat customer.

Resoled Birkenstocks

Odsy is the best. It had been a few years since my last visit. I brought a beloved pair of Birkenstocks to be resoled and then got back what feels like a new pair of sandals! They replaced my well worn sole and then filled in worn areas the cork! I also brought in a tote bag that TUMI had deemed needed a new zipper because they said the zipper teeth was crooked. Nope. All that was needed was a new slider. So grateful to know this business exists!

Resoled birkenstocks

I needed my pair of birkenstocks resoled and found this place came highly recommended. The reviews check out - this shop is great! They resoled the bottoms beautifully and even fixed up some of the worn away cork. Easy in, easy out, the pricing was extremely reasonable and the wait took about a week. They do take card which was convenient. Thanks again for fixing up my birks, I'll be back!

Brought some heels here to fix after my dog chewed them up. Said the best he could do was this patch job where he just glued another piece of leather on the shoe without making any attempt at blending it in. This is pretty much as good as useless. Who is gonna walk around wearing Versace heels with this botched patch job? On top of that it took weeks for them to do this repair. Giving an extra star because I feel bad that this is a small business but overall work looked sloppy and lazy to me.

I dropped off 4 pairs of shoes. Heels needed to be fixed, elastic band on sling backs needed to be replaced, one flip flop broke, and one pair of red bottom heels needed to be revived. The most impressive fix of all is the Red bottoms I dropped off. They were REALLY beat up, I was literally going to throw them away, but I took a chance after looking up several places online. Guys, to say that I am impressed is an understatement. I couldn't stop staring at them on the way home. I also really appreciate and respect the owner's honesty. He told me what was possible instead of setting unrealistic expectations; I wanted the shiny leather replaced on my heels, but he told me it was patented so it's not to be possible. Anyway, I just picked up my 4 pairs of shoes and dropped off my black Louis Vuitton Epi Leather Neverfull purse to have the handles repaired. (Yes! They even repair purses!! :) The handles cracked on the sides, so I wanted that fixed. Fingers crossed that it'll go perfectly like my shoes did! Oh! I also dropped off a pair of red bottom flats to have the sole taken care of. I bought them along with me for the pickup -thinking that I would turn them in if the heels would have turned out nice, which of course they did! :) Long story short, I have found my go-to place for all my leather good repairs - whether it be purses or shoes. Don't sleep on this place! They're really good and they get busy!! I don't know if they do rush jobs because I'm never in a rush for my repairs, but judging by how busy they can get, I would suggest expecting at least a week turnaround.

Great place to get your leather shoes fixed. The owner is nice and price is fair. He's saved my shoes twice already.

After being quoted $90-$120 elsewhere, I was pleasantly surprised to learn his pricing is $35-$50 per pair, depending on whether the bottom heel also needs to be soled. I ended up bringing in three pairs of shoes (two with top heels done, one with both top and bottom heel soled). He told me to come back in 1.5-2 hours, and when I returned around 4:30 PM, all three pairs were ready. The work looked clean, professional, and well finished--I was really impressed. I also had him replace a watch battery. When I got home later that day and realized it still wasn't working, I messaged him right away. He responded the next day, asked me to come back in, and fixed it within minutes--he even offered a refund if it couldn't be resolved. Fair pricing, fast turnaround, quality work, and honest service. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

I recently came back from a European vacation and needed repair on my very nice Coach bag. Since this is a hefty luxury bag, going to my clothing alteration shop wouldn't work as I was recommended to go to a cobbler as they would have the machines necessary to fix a bag. Fortunately, for me when I got back home, I found MAK & CO which came highly recommended and was near to where I lived. I contacted MAK via the online quote portal on yelp. He immediately responded with his number and said to text him directly with some of the images of the bag damage. I contacted him and sent him the photos of the damage and he quoted me $20 per end and said he could take care of it pretty fast. I took the bag in on New Year's Eve and MAK took a quick look at it and said he could get it done in two hours. I was completely surprised and I reminded him he didn't have to get it to me that fast. He said it wouldn't be a problem. Not only was he able to turn around the bag within a few hours he said the total repair would be only $20 for both ends and not $20 per end. This was half the amount which I was expecting to pay. Totally happy with what he said I left and came back maybe about five hours later near to when he was about to close. He gathered the bag and showed me his repair which he did very securely and tight. I have no doubt that this repair will last hopefully forever. The total amount was only $20 as he said, and I walked away very happy and appreciative. MAK & CO was very professional, quick with the turnaround and very affordable. I for one will definitely be back as I have many shoes that I have been waiting to get repaired. He definitely is an artisan.
