They insulated our home in March 2023. We did the financing of 1 year 0% interest if paid in full. When we got the bill, we thought, at first it was for the mattress we just bought. Then we said "no, that can't be, we have a year, no interest on that." Then just as we were discussing it someone from goodleap called. Mind you the statement from goodleap says nothing about what it's for. That person agreed it could be our mattress but then he/she did some checking and said it was for our insulation. I told my husband I was sure I'd paid that off. On the contract, some of the information regarding Project Payment has been typed through with information regarding the project scope. When we received the first bill from Odin I started looking through my past records. I had paid Odin $4,461 on 7/24/23. The only address on the contract is for Heliosun, LLC in Carrollton which, I'm guessing, is where I sent the check. Upon further checking, this check has never cleared our bank. Now on 4/23/24 we have paid their loan company, goodleap, $5132.99. However, today they still say we owe an Outstanding Principal of $28.31. The paperwork doesn't show there's accumulating interest but when I called, the person told me the dollar amount is now $28.48. Remember the original Principal amount was $4461, which I paid that full amount on a check in July. They have no phone number on the contract, just a Billing phone number & an email for Customer Service Again, we sent a payoff check in July 2023. I looked up Heliosun LLC dba Odin for a phone number and the business number I found - 866-787-9891 was not in service. So I sent an email explaining everything. That was on 4/23/24. I haven't heard anything back. You'd think if this were a responsible company they would have responded right away, especially about the check. read more

I had Odin energy come over for a evaluation of my attic. I was surprised when the owner came to do the evaluation and he said it could use some more insulation and I would benefit with Aerosol. So we scheduled the job to be done. When they came to do the job there were new people working And they were training on my house. When you pay over $5000 for a job you don't expect newbies doing it, you expect professionals. I own a brand new house And I expect my house to be as clean as it was before they came. I'm a disabled man and I had to watch my wife clean the house after she got home from work due to how dirty they left the house. There was insulation left over from all the AC vents. I hired this company for three things. Fill attic with insulation, Duct sealing and they talked me into installing a scrubber. On the day of the installation, they tried to install the new scrubber into a ac system that was going to be disposed of. I did not want to pay to through it in the trash so I told them not to install the scrubber. They told me to just call when I had a new AC system installed and they would install the scrubber at that time. They knew I was getting a new AC system that was the reason for the duct sealing in the first place to make sure that system is good before I replace the other part. The duct sealing was a joke. I do not recommend this work. First I regret I did not call another company to make sure the ductwork was clean first. Was told it did not need to be clean. The arasol did not stick to my ductwork and the paperwork of data they emailed me is incorrect. They did not cover the air return leaving a big hole in the system when they pumped the sealant into my house. once they noticed this cloud emitting from the bedroom they covered the air return. this skewed the data on the report they sent me and left me a big mess in the bedroom to clean up. The data is telling me they fixed a huge hole when they simply just did not cover the air return. I am happy with the insulation in the attic. They put a tape measure so I can see how thick it is. Now that I have a new AC system, I am having a had time getting the scrubber installed. First appointment no call no show. The customer service page returns a 404 error. Every crew member was extremely nice and respected my property. When I identified a couple concerns I had, they were addressed complete with options. This company tricked me into signing up with a financial company in the Philippines to get around the laws of the US with an interest of 7% compounding daily interest when I had a credit card with zero %. They used a cardboard box to patch a hole in attic and denied the fact for over 2 weeks. This company also contracts jobs out. The only workers that showed up to do work were Hispanics. I have no idea if job was contracted out. Read reviews of this scamming company. NO invoice until I had to ask for it. They claimed that they gave me a discounted price of which I believe was smoke up my behind. Would love to see this company close due to NO MORE BUSINESS AND CONSUMERS. DON'T GET SCAMMED LIKE I GOT SCAMMED. Better companies that will explain step by step and tell you what you are signing instead of just scrolling to pages where they ask for initials without explanation nor personally reading. In July of 2019 we contacted Helio Sun/Odin energy to have solar panels installed at our house in Phoenix area as they were recommended at a seminar we attended In early Julyof 2019 presented by solar advocate, Mike Shepp. He recommended Helio Sun (now Odin Energy) as they were one of the few "Pearl Certified", which would increase our house value at resale. Kaleb and Sam representing Helio Sun/Odin came to our house for a site survey and sales presentation. We spoke of the pluses and minuses of having solar and were adamant that we would purchase a system with cash, up front, if they would guarantee that we would never have an APS bill again. We are retired and having lived in Arizona over 45 years know how brutally hot the summers are. Therefore, we would pay for a system that kept the electric bills to a minimum. Kaleb and Sam called the office for the estimates and took only the month of June into consideration of our house needs) June and June alone for estimating usage for the months of July, August and September, stated that our system would produce enough APS credits in the fall, winter and spring months to offset the months of June, July, August, and September. (the hottest months in Arizona). "We would only have to pay APS billing fees and taxes, about $25 a month". We signed the service agreement and noted that it included only 13 solar panels. We asked if 13 panels were enough as many of the homes in Trilogy had anywhere from 18 to 35 panels. We were assured that with the Pearl Certification, Mr. Shepp was adament about, "reduction vs production", the 13 panels would be sufficient. We paid $17208.00 on July 23, 2019 to have the system installed. In early September of 2019 Arcadia Energy ( contracted by Helio Sun) installed the solar system in our home. We weathered through the remaining months of 2019 (Oct, November and December) with less than $50 APS charges. Then in May of 2020 the charges began to accelerate. May was $66.46, June was $115.31, July was $152.06, August was $204.27. I contacted Jessica Ward at Arcadia on May 11, 2020 to inquire about the increase in billing and found out our system had failed and we needed a new inverter. It was replaced that week and I thought we would be back on track with "production vs reduction". In week one of June of 2020 I noticed on the "tracking app" that Arcadia set me up with that Consumption was 278 kWh and production was only 183 kWh. On week 2 it showed 332 kWh consumption and 184 kWh production. the same scenario for the rest of June, July August, and September. More consumption than production. Prior to this increase in usage and billing we had installed window coverings and solar window sun screens (none of these were present when Kaleb and Sam did the survey). We had also unplugged the refrigerator located in our garage, kept our thermostats at 79 degrees daytime and 76 degrees at night. Only washed dishes and clothing during APS suggested time frames. This increase in usage concerned us so I contacted Helio Sun and spoke to a person named Jessica who said she would get back to me. On July 29, 2020 I called and told her of our issues with larger APS billings.I also emailed her the APS website recommended solar panel for a house our size was 18 to 24. She thanked me and said she would look into it. Simply stated: We still have large APS bills in the 4-5 summer months but were promised that we would not. We have been dealing back and forth with Helio Sun/Odin's office staff for over 1 and 1/2 years to rectify their subpar site survey calling for only 13 solar panel and have yet to get it resolved. BUYER BEWARE: I had this company install solar and other energy efficiency improvements. The system went live October 2021, I have not had the solar system a year and the inverter broke and I made them aware since August 2022. Since then, stated product is on shortage and backordered. Which I understand, but what I don't understand is the concept of paying a solar loan and now paying APS electric bill for past two months (way more if I would've just stayed without solar). Lost all the credits I had built and the company that coordinated all items (Odin) is now saying call the service department directly plus asking me to deal with the manufacture to see if any reimbursements. Horrible customer service. The system isn't producing solar and in my eyes feel they should coordinate efforts. Now worried about roof guarantee they provided; it seems this approach will be taken. I highly would not recommend the company based on this approach. In my current personal business we make items seamless for our customers and even though not liable for product issues we do the leg work for our customers on product claims, defects etc. Not this company,, but during the sale state you call us and we take care of everything. read more

I am shocked that they asked me to write a review, but I am happy to share. The crew who showed up to do the work was really nice and polite. I was really happy with them. A manager of some type showed up, to inspect their work and to install the air purifier. He was a bit of an ass. Not very friendly and pretty unprofessional. It was incredibly hot out and so I cut them some slack. I know I would be a bit cranky working in an attic on a day like that. The next morning we woke up to find we had no hot water. I tested the water heater knowing it was an older device and figured it was just about at the end of its life. Everything seemed fine, got a hotwater professional out, he found that the 240 was only 120. I knew there wre splices in the attic. Called Odin, left voicemails, about getting someone out to check the splices in the attic. I got the run around for the next two weeks. Finally after weeks of this I got some supervisor out. He went in the attic, said he only found 120's and there were no 240's or splices. He then tried to explain to me, how to take the 2 120's and splice them together into a 240. I had him show me everything he found, then thanked him for his time and sent him on his way. I then spent ten minutes finding the 240, traces it ten feet to the splice block like I explained there was, found the damage and spliced it myself. Yet I am still paying full price, had to live about 3 weeks with no hot water, got the run around because no one there is adult enough to speak to me. I never once yelled, or asked them for any kind of discount, or anything other than help in getting this resolved. I would give the young guys doing the real work 5 stars, the saleman 3 stars, didn't listen real well, and didn't really communicate important things to either side. The management I would give negative stars if possible just because they seem like unprofessional children who won't even speak to their customers. read more

I hired Odin to install my solar system in my home. After 1 year of use, I've found that my combined solar payment and APS bill exceeds what I was paying for electric the year prior to solar (about $1,000.00 annually), and found the reason was my solar system did not meet the designed energy production as per our contract. It fell about 25% short of it's intended engineered design. I've called Odin several times and left messages with what might be their receptionist, with a promised for a call back, but they haven't. The person who answers their phone tells me they're no longer doing solar, so I'm guess they must feel they are no longer responsible for their contract, their design flaws, nor do I seem to have anyonce to warranty my system for the 25 years as the contract states. I'm now stuck with a $58,000.00 system that offers no cost savings, and I'm spending more than before I had solar. I've since learned the AZ Attorney General's office has many complaints with solar contractors like Odin. As a contractor myself, I highly recomend avoiding Odin for any of their services, as you may find similar experiences as mine. read more
