Hers was loaded with steak, caramelized onions, fresh bell peppers, and a blend of cheeses. Mine was crammed with eggs, sausage, cheese and tots, and was so good that we both seriously thought about buying more. We'd made them combos ($3.50 upcharge) so we had sides of sweet potato waffle fries (excellent). She had a 16 ounce fountain drink and I had a 24 ounce house blend coffee from a machine that literally ground the beans and brewed the coffee right then and there. And it was really good. This cost us about 20 bucks for the gas and $20.80 for lunch. By the time we finished, I had already looked up all of their locations, and I am pleased to report that they have one just outside of Richmond! TL;DR- delicious, inexpensive food, cheap gas, and excellent service. And a car wash if you have time. Highly recommended.

The fries looked good so I ordered those as well because they were wedges. It has been a while since I had that style. The food was ready by the time I left the bathroom. I grabbed the food, paid for it on a kiosk, and went back to the car to eat. Hubs went to use the restroom and grab a coffee. When I started to go through the bag, I realized no sauces were in the bag and sandwich looked less appealing than a prison sandwich. Hubs went back in for me to get the sauces and I was given ranch instead of garlic aioli but the Chesapeake sauce was correct. The food was just not worth the price or the carbs. I was no longer hungry but also still craving an empty satisfaction. This was the first place we came across after driving for a while with no civilization in sight. Next time, I will be searching for other options if I am in the same predicament. Maybe I went on an off day or maybe they are known for other foods. They are similar to the concept of Wawa but nowhere near the quality.

I was surprised the store inside had hot food options that they make on demand. We decided to get breakfast sandwiches there as well, which were fantastic for gas station eats! In all honesty it was around $2.20 at the time which was then and still is now around thirty cents less per gallon. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? Nope, everything was hunky dory with the slight exception that this place apparently gets really busy and that does create a real PIA situation getting on and off the property.
