We don't live close to here, so when our daughter's car broke down on I-95 during a weekend trip, we were desperate to find someone in the area to help. Meineke, specifically Scott, went out of his way to help get her safely towed to their shop. Then he helped us determine next steps when they figured out it was a major engine issue- he helped us get the car to a nearby dealer to get recall-covered repair completed. We are very grateful for Scott and Meineke getting us through a disastrous situation.

The issue was not fixed. When I returned to the Elkton location for resolution, I was not provided a solution. Law enforcement was called, and I was asked to leave instead of being assisted. I was then directed to a second location at 3601 Miller Rd, Wilmington, DE to meet with a district manager. During that visit, I was told additional repairs could cost up to $2,244.76, depending on further parts or services. I declined and requested that the original issue be properly repaired without additional charges, as that was the purpose of the initial service. I was later informed that no further repairs would be performed on my vehicle. I am requesting a proper repair or a full refund for the work that was paid for but not completed. We can go half on it. The man leaves and the man makes me pay for the other half of the bill. It was extremely sadistic given how kind of a gesture the man who clearly felt for me was being and considering that the man at the front desk had been asking me if I'm visiting him for Valentine's Day etc as I'm stranded at his shop sleep deprived , and when I mentioned it he gaslight and screamed at me.

They told me there was nothing wrong with my vehicle, and told me I had to pay an additional $185 for the tow. When I told them I didn't agree with this additional payment they threatened to take my vehicle from me. I paid the money under duress, drove the vehicle home, and once again, upon exiting the vehicle saw that the oil was still leaking continually, if not worse than before. These people did nothing but lie repeatedly for no other reason other than the sake of lying. They cursed me out repeatedly, I was threatend to have my vehicle stolen from me, and I was robbed $1685 dollars. This is only half of the horror story. The good news is that every event, email, and text message has been well-documented. Stay away from Lunch Box Garage unless you want to subject yourself to the abuse of these liars and thieves.
