Plus a Crocs with a huge selection of charms and themed shoes inspired by movies and popular culture. The other department store is Macy's, a more upscale looking one. The Nordstrom jewelry salespeople do a great job of continuing to chat in a large group as customers shop. The handbag associate on the other hand was excellent and helpful. I also was surprised to see Aeropostale and Cotton On. I thought the former had gone out of business. My only complaint is the food court. Why is it tucked away in a corner down a separate wing? And I wish the crepe place also made savory ones.

If you're looking for something quick to eat, you can eat at the food court or grab pretzels from the several many kiosk throughout the mall. If you feel like dining in, they have restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory located on the outside. This location also has a movie theater attached to it. The value of anything sold here really depends on where you choose to shop. There are stores that can be costly and some more affordable. They have an Apple and Samsung store located inside as well. The service is great. They keep this location well maintained. My only complaint is I wish they had more directories inside to navigate the mall because the layout is a bit confusing.

On July 3, while riding through the property, an employee who was power washing the common areas sprayed me, my bicycle, and several other cyclists because, apparently, we were in his way. The behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I immediately reported the incident to management. More than 10 days have passed, and I have yet to receive a response. That level of customer service is just as disappointing as the incident itself. This issue isn't going away. I'm going to continue pursuing it because I don't want anyone else to experience what happened to us. Beyond that, I believe much of the property appears neglected, with only a few businesses--such as Yard House, Tequila Jack's, and Parker's Lighthouse--continuing to draw significant traffic. I encourage visitors to look around carefully and form their own opinions before choosing where to spend their time and money. I hope Shoreline Village's ownership and management take this seriously, improve the condition of the property, and ensure their employees treat visitors with professionalism and respect. Since management has chosen not to respond, they should expect to hear from me shortly through the appropriate channels regarding both this incident and the way it has been handled.

I suggest going early, being plenty of bags or a wagon for your finds. They allow reenter with hand stamp. There is also beer and water for purchase inside and outside the market are more food vendors with everything from fresh juice, fruit, how food and more. The staff is always friendly and helpful. You pay $10 to get in and can hang out as long as you like. I believe it's around 800 vendors. Home good, cameras, clothes, plants, paintings and so much more.... worth the trip at least once. Oh and bring an umbrella, big brimming hat and plenty of sunscreen.

Entry: $10 per person Here are my first time impressions: Size: 5/5 a large, maze-like exhibit. Multiple vendors said it's usually across the street (under construction) with even more vendors. The fence gate obstructs at least half of the market from view from the entry area. Food/Drink: 2/5 there was 3 food trucks and 1 table. Mexican food, plain coffee, sodas. Burgers/American. Acai bowls, juices. Table sold beers. I was expecting more. I'm wondering if this is considered typical, as it seems more respectful for more serious sellers or buyers? To combat my dehydration and sleepiness, I went for a plain coffee and a Diet Coke. I don't recommend eating here go find a better restaurant in long beach and eat before/ after! Bathrooms: They installed portable AC! The toilets next to the food trucks were clean and cooling inside. The Shopping: 4/5 Flea markets will continue to be a unique experience for me because it's visually overwhelming to mentally process and sort through everything you're seeing! They have artwork, jewelry, an overwhelming amount of trinkets, clothing (mostly vintage and band fashion), electronics (one store was entirely cameras), decor, handbags, kitchenware, comic book items, and more. The clothing, handbags, and other wearable items can be used, new, or handmade by the vendor. I think it caters to the whole family though it's more like demographics are mid age women, then women, then children, then men (from my untrained eye). It's a confusing place if you don't already have a strong grasp of your personal style and preferences. You'll likely spend a lot of time just trying to understand what everything is. I looked at alot of clothes but nothing spoke to me. It sounds obvious but you should bring a hat and/ or sunglasses, and your water bottle. I didn't do either... I rolled out of bed and went with my friend here.

The reason why - and I have to point this out because the store is named Rooted - is most of the neon pothos did not look too healthy aside from one plant in a 6" pot (larger than what I was looking for). In fact, many of the plants were rather middling, with soil looking dry when most inventory are tropical houseplants. Was it the heat at the time I visited or negligence? I'm not sure, but even with seemingly fair prices as plant shops go (4" philodendron Brazil was $12), it's harder to buy a plant that looks sickly. In addition to plants, Rooted also carries housewares and refills for shampoo, body wash, etc. I can't speak to the prices because I have a similar store within walking distance that I typically bring my dispensers to.

However, when I've gone in looking to purchase something specific, it hasn't been available -- even when I returned a week or two later. Yes, it's something they sell in store normally. The staff is generally helpful, though I did have an awkward experience at checkout. When I mentioned the weight of an item, the staff member questioned the accuracy several times. I wasn't sure if she was new or if there was some hesitation in trusting the information I provided. She said she was "just trying to make sure it was right," but it felt unnecessary and a bit uncomfortable. It might make more sense for staff to weigh items themselves to avoid situations like this. Overall, it's a pleasant store, but the inconsistent availability and that checkout experience make me unsure if I'll return.

I discovered the shopping center because of a Yelp Elite Event at Lather in 2021, & have been returning infrequently. Though it's understandable & fairly common to charge for parking at malls with garages, it's a major turn-off for me to hang around past the 90-min. mark, hence my return visits have either been tied to YEEs held here, or because I'm in the area & wanted to grab a bite.
