Big windows, natural light, fresh flowers!

Oddfellows is the perfect addition to iron mountain. The brick and ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for wedding photos. It would be a wonderful place for a wedding. The food is absolutely delicious. The white dish is caught fresh from Lake Superior and is my favorite thing they offer. With the menu constantly changing, I always get excited to come home and try something new. The service is wonderful, the staff are friendly, and they always keep you hydrated (with wine and water!) If you haven't been here yet, what are you waiting for?

Went to Oddfellows last evening. Enjoyed a perfectly lovely wine flight. Talked with the owner, who was very involved in his business but still took the time to chat for a few minutes. The food exceeded my expectation (this was my first time visiting). The Pear Puff was to die for (appetizer). Main course was out of this world good (Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy). Even though we were stuffed, the carrot cake crumble was calling my name. it did not disappoint...better than ANY carrot cake I'd ever had...sooooooo good. Service was wonderful and ambience was great. I am giving this restaurant 5 stars (would do 10 if Yelp let me). Owner told me the fresh flowers on the tables were cut fresh daily from Danielson's Greenhouse in Norway. They were a wonderful touch (I'm a flower lover). I highly recommend this restaurant!

Long waits for food. Excellent wine list. Respectable Old Fashioned. Great redo of a vacant space. A very urban feel!

The vibe and decor is reminiscent of the good ole days in Brooklyn NY, replete with funky vintage lighting and a popcorn machine. So for ambiance and a drink I'd give the place a 5. I may have a biased review in the pizza. Coming from an Italian family from NYC and NJ (kind of the two US pizza meccas) it is hard for me to enjoy most pizzas. Crust was like a cracker (some people like it like that I like a hand tossed crust.) and the gravy (sauce) was very very sparse. No garlic. I'd give the sausage on the pie a 5 though. If I were to base my review on the pizza only I'd give it a 3. In addition to the pie I ordered the hot beef sandwich. In my anticipation of have a hot beef sandwich I was envisioning the tasty version with a nice au jus on it ..which is what the typical hot beef is by us.... Instead I got a dried up beef sandwich with zero flavor. It was like eating shoe leather. Maybe it was an off night... things happen. But we were there at 6:45pm so we weren't near the last meal ordered.... I'd go back for a drink and some popcorn but I don't think I'd try the pizza and definitely not the hot beef again.

(50 golden stars if I could!)…read more Helioterra in Door County is a true gem, and Kim made my entire experience unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, she was warm, professional, and incredibly engaging. Her knowledge of the wines, vineyards, and stories behind each bottle brought the tasting to life in such a fun and approachable way. Kim has that rare talent of being both informative and entertaining--she answered every question with ease, tailored recommendations to my palate, and made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another visitor. The wines themselves are outstanding (the Pinot Noir and Mourvèdre were highlights), but it was Kim's passion and expertise that elevated the experience into something exceptional. The tasting room is cozy, stylish, and welcoming, with a beautiful lineup of Oregon-crafted wines not commonly found in the Midwest. Pair that with a thoughtfully curated cheese board, and you've got one of the best afternoons you can spend in Door County. If you're anywhere near Fish Creek, Helioterra is a must-visit--and do yourself a favor: ask for Kim. She's the heart of the experience and deserves not just 5 stars, but 50 golden ones.

You can also sample by the glass or partial pour into Reidel glasses. I'm familiar with this real Oregon wine and its Wisconsin roots. I highly recommend putting this first on your Door County wine tour.
