Octopus-so charred that it was bitter Sea bass-fantastic: mild taste, buttery, perfectly cooked. The Cauliflower Puree was smooth and a tasty, balanced bite when eaten together with the fish and sauce Short rib over risotto-tender, deeply flavored meat and generous amount of red wine sauce over creamy risotto was delicious. Our waitress did a good job explaining the menu options, just a bit of a mix-up with my dining companion's drink order. Complimentary macarons at the end of our meal were a nice surprise. We again ate inside because of the humidity but both inside and out are beautiful. The Tuna Poke appetizer was not only large but fantastic with what seemed to be almost a quarter to a half pound of excellent tuna. The Baked Oysters with garlic Parmesan were good but slightly overpowered by the cheese. The Chilean Sea Bass with cauliflower purée, butter mustard vinaigrette and Hazelnut Cream was delicious. The Special Seafood dish was a North Atlantic Cod in a white wine butter sauce with olives, capers, artichokes and Feta. Mind-blowing!! For dessert we shared a delicious Crème Brûlée All the servers were attentive and we had fun talking to them. A beautiful place to check out.

I hadn't been back in about two years, and I hear there's a new chef--well, let me tell you, it's even better than I remember! Hands down the best meal I've had in a long time, and easily the best experience at Stella. Service: 11/10, food: 100/10, ambiance: 10/10. As a chef myself, I'm always grateful for restaurants that can genuinely wow me with an amazing meal. Can't wait to come back soon!"

The place itself is in the Ghost Light Inn which seems to have a super modern vibe for the sleepy town of New Hope. Seating is a bit tight but acceptable. Service was attentive. Bread is an add-on here. The STELLA BREADS & SPREADS an assortment of house-made breads, peppadew pepper hummus, sun-dried tomato & date chutney, cultured butter with sea salt, cold-pressed olive oil & balsamic reduction is great but it pushes the quanity too far for a table of two. It was nice to see a 1911 cider on the menu and my main course of RAS EL HANOUT SPICED DUCK BREAST spiced couscous, dried apricots, toasted almonds, sweet potato & coconut purée, wild cherry gastrique, smoked salt, duck jus was very enjoyable.
