We went on Monday around noon and it was not packed at all. This place has a laid back cute kpop vibe - very casual. We were a group of 4 and a baby and was seated quickly. The waiter/server was sweet and helpful with the menu. The service was great, they even had an event about posting on IG (and tagging them) which earned us a free drink/dessert. If you want to do that, go before the event is over. Had a hankering for KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) so decided to drop by here for the first time in years. Their flavors haven't changed and the quality is the same. The price has always been a sticking point and it was the same this time. I just don't understand why it costs $2 to add sauce onto the chicken! And if I ask for half half of an order, it's $4 extra (because 2 sauces). However, taste is really so. good. There isn't that weird aftertaste that you get from BonChon because of the old oil. Oh no, the chicken I got was so fresh it was practically still splattering in oil. I love they make every order fresh, nothing just sitting around. Had the odagada chicken with original and spicy flavor. The batter on the outside is extremely crispy, and you taste the juicy chicken as you bite in. For the saucy spicy one, the chicken wasn't too wet, and the sauce wasn't too overpowering as well. The chicken came with a small salad and pickled radishes, which were nice to have with the fried chicken. For $30, this item on the menu could definitely fill 3-4 people. The store itself was very welcoming. The waiters welcomed us in with a smile and the mood had a certain charisma to it. The chicken came quickly, and I have no complaints. I remember deciding to choose this place because I was craving korean food so bad and this was the only place open. Even though I was skeptical because I judge by the reviews, I was blown away by this restaurant! Me and my cousin ordered the seafood pancake, kimchi kimbap, and soy garlic fried chicken. The kimchi kimbap was, of course, delicious. The snap from the vegetables were so crunchy and good. The seafood pancake was TO DIE FOR!! It was so crispy, (usually not crispy from other restaurants), and didn't taste greasy. The fried chicken was super juicy, not dry at all, and I literally ate 7 pieces because the sauce was addicting! The service was overall pretty good! They were nice and checked up on us. I kind of just wished the chicken came a little faster as there was a quite long wait time for it, but it's not something to get mad about because the food, once again, was delicious. I LOVED the ambiance of the restaurant. Really great Korean fried chicken spot. I make my way out here not only for the fried chicken, but also their tofu soup. Ever since my local spot closed and got replaced by a taco shop, I've been craving a good tofu soup - and odagada delivers. Quite large, lots of tofu, lots of seafood/meat, and a good amount of heat. I personally love starting the meal out with tofu soup, and sometimes find myself full before the chicken even comes. Speaking of the chicken, so much better than the usual bonchon or vons. I think giving this place 3 stars is pretty generous, but their food is undeniably fantastic! The service on the other hand was really lacking. My 3 friends and I anticipated eating here for a late birthday celebration but most likely we won't be coming back. We were placed in the corner and had to get up a total of 3 times to be acknowledged. When we were trying to catch their attention they quickly look away when making eye contact. The server would check up on 2-3 other tables by us but only checked up on us once or twice the whole time we were there. I was also definitely being stared at by a different customer as well when eating which was quite unpleasant. Their prices and food on the other hand were impressive and satisfying.
