My first treatment lasted five minutes and was utterly painless; I couldn't believe it. To be honest, I thought I got ripped off. I've had treatments in the past and they usually last way longer and are more uncomfortable. But the results spoke for themselves. I've now had a second treatment where we went more in depth and she was SO nice to me when we went over more sensitive areas. She let me numb, she gave me icy tools, and she went as quick or slow as I needed. The hair growth is almost nonexistent at this point and I couldn't be happier. I started to get Botox and filler here as well, and again, I'm loving the results. Sarah is great. She doesn't sell you things just so she can get needle-happy on your face--which I've experienced in the past. She's very easy to talk to, let me numb for as long as I needed and explained everything along the way. She also tells you what's great about your face and doesn't focus on what should be "fixed." If you want natural, she's got you. If you want everything plump and juicy, she can do that too. (Also, the receptionist is a doll and will get you as many discounts and offers she can find; she quite literally saved me over $300 on my last appointment.) Whenever I am asked who I see as my gyno and mention Dr. Helen Lacoste I get the same reaction. Oh, I know Dr. Lacoste she is known very well, and I have met her personally and have worked with her personally in some capacity whether for referral or at some sort of conjoined effort for certain needs that I've had over the years and the single thing that people always mention is that she is an incredibly knowledgeable and continually one of the Most respected doctors in her field and among others in the state of Michigan, that they know I've always said she also has an incredible bedside manner unlike any doctor I've ever met before my entire life, and if someone with an extreme phobia and white coach syndrome, this quality is a true gift and effort on her part and part of who she is I have never met someone with such care and dedication to ensuring I am taking care of myself and the best way possible but also she's getting to know me as a person so that I feel comfortable with her and she is very diligent about follow up making sure things are as easy for me as possible as I've gone through surgery with her among other things and I have a couple friends who by chance have also had her to further baby and she was wonderful with both of my friends that had unexpected changes and had to see someone right away and ended up with Dr. Lacoste by chance their experiences were second and none. I consistently tell Dr. Lacoste that every appointment I see her at that she is not allowed to ever retire because I will need her the type of quality care the experience and attention to my medical needs and health for the future are always half of mine for her. She never forgets anything and ensures that I have things in advance that I'll need example a breast cancer screening and mammogram order. Has me an MRI order for when I have to make my appointment so that I don't have to call back and make them even though it's a month in advance or so, she makes everything as easy as possible. She is incredibly kind and will spend as much time as she needs with you when it appointment to explain things and make sure you feel comfortable and understand what's going on. I could not recommend someone more and although she is a very popular demand person, I strongly urge you to make an appointment with her and you will thank yourself. Pros: First Choice was able to help me with the resurgence of a small back issue. (I've seen other…read morechiropractors in the past, but my favorite is not now available.) They also did an x-ray, which was a good idea, and was made available to me to download. Cons: #1. Their 1st and 2nd visit introductory videos contain blatant "snake oil" claims, e.g. "90% of disease is caused by neuro-skeletal issues". (I suspect Louis Pasteur would be a little surprised by that.) #2. They seem to specialize in very short/small adjustments, multiple times per week. I make no claims, but suggest googling "chiropractic mill". Caveat Emptor. #3. They did very little in the way of observational diagnosis. (E.g. bend forward, back, turn neck, turn shoulders, etc. etc.) Instead, two very quick checks and they started in on (a very few) adjustments. #4. The doc I saw literally did not understand the difference between millimeters and centimeters.

Dr. Hardaway and her entire staff are wonderful. I have gotten my lips injected by Dr. Hardaway twice now. She is just amazing and incredibly talented. She is patient, kind, compassionate, I could go on and on. My favorite thing about her is that she actually LISTENS to what you want. A lot of doctors interrupt you and tell you what they think would look good. While Dr. Hardaway does offer input on what she thinks and what would be best, she ALWAYS has your needs and wants in mind. She saw the vision I had and created it. SPOT ON. I know this is not possible for all, but it's what she did for me. I showed her a picture of Madison Beer's lips (singer) and she just nailed it. I love how she takes multiple pictures and then puts them on a screen where they can draw on where you would like to alter. She takes the time to explain all options to you. I never feel rushed. I saw another doctor in the past and even though they were highly rated, they don't even come close to Dr. Hardaway. They were not anywhere comparable to her. Also, her whole staff is very kind and welcoming. They are just great. I am very thankful and will recommend to everyone I know.
