Very happy with all the staff and results! Everything was explained very clearly and my visits were all very prompt. After my consult, I had 2 visits in February and two in November and I was very happy with everything. I read the above review and to be clear, you even sign and take home instructions that say you need to come back for follow-ups occasionally to check to make sure everything worked. You can skip follow-ups as needed but they recommended to come back for at least a 3 month to make sure you're happy. It said it on my hand outs I took home as well. I had varicose vein treatments at Miller Vein in Dearborn on both legs in June/July 2019 and based on the consultation and information I received from both the nurses and Dr. Lulenski, I felt very positive and optimistic about the results I would have. Every question/concern I verbalized was met with positive and encouraging information. I had no complications and I followed post procedure instructions carefully. It's less than 6 months later and I am completely disappointed. I have dark discoloration in an area that was treated and I have new bulging veins reforming near the procedure site. I distinctly recall asking if more veins would form in place of the veins being treated and Dr. Lulenski said "no". I feel that the entire process was a waste of time and money. In response to the reply from Miller Vein...at no time during any visits were the words "chronic" and "maintenance" used. My last appointment was for a post procedure checkup and I was definitely not advised or even encouraged to return for "maintenance". Had I been told honestly, before the procedures, that I would have to routinely undergo treatments, I would definitely have opted out. Instead I was left to discover, that in less than 6 months, I have unsightly veins bulging in more conspicuous areas than the ones I had removed! I was not an adequately informed patient at the time and I regret not asking more questions. I will definitely not be returning for "maintenance". read more

My personal experience with Miller Vein was finally my journey to healing. I had a venous leg ulcer that started in October 2012. I had several Dr. visits: Dermatologists and then weekly visits at Heritage Wound Care. I probably had close to 40 Dr. visits altogether. The Wound Care treated the ulcer with topicals, debriding and wraps. Prior to that start of all these visits, I did have a two hour arterial/venous ultrasound at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn. Nothing definitive was diagnosed. In June 2013 I was getting upset with the ongoing treatment and I expressed that to the Dr. My lucky day: The Dr. handed me a Miller Vein card. My husband and I contacted them immediately. With their expert ultrasound tech, Bruce, the problem was accurately diagnosed. I had faulty valves on two superficial veins. We had a consultation with Dr. Lulenski and I was on the road to healing. I had two office procedures. The first was an Endovenous Thermal Ablation on June 21, 2013 and the follow up procedure was an Endovenous Chemical Ablation on September 24, 2013 due to en enlarged perforator vein. . The wound proceeded to heal. It was completely healed by the first week of November 2013. Miller Vein got to the source of the problem. The staff and Dr. Lulenski are very thorough, friendly and professional. They care about their patients and have confidence in their treatment plans. Dr. Wang and his staff were true professionals. They thoroughly explained the VeinWave process, then did their magic. About fifteen minutes later I was done, and after a couple days of healing, the small veins Dr. Wang removed were history.
