I was advised to have a tech come to my home and assess and it would be pumped if needed. After determining a pump was needed a second tech arrived later that day the system was pumped. I was charged an assessment fee in addition to the pumping. Because I was due for a routine pumping that should have just been scheduled thus avoiding the assessment fee. Buyer beware - ask what the cost will be before booking. Because of the lack of transparency in charges I do not recommend this company.

After calling about six "companies," and getting home answering machines, or no answers at all, I was surprised that Wind River picked up right away AND were willing and able to come out and do the job on the same day. A nice man showed up with a big tank truck and went right to work (we had already uncovered the tank manhole, so I'm not sure what happens when the guy has to try to find and dig out the access to the tank, but their website says the can do it somehow). The tank was packed with muck, but he methodically worked it all loose and sucked it up. Took a little over an hour. They gave an estimate first thing on the phone, and it was that much. It was reasonable for what he did. Receipt comes via email. He up-sold me on products to keep the tank healthy but didn't push. I chose to get the tank bacteria they add to the tank before it is closed up, but passed on the monthly products because I figured I could get the same thing on Amazon or Ebay. All and all a great experience, considering it revolved around poop.

Nobody called, texted or emailed me or rang a doorbell or knocked, and they had my number and email and must have seen my doorbell. They told me between 10:00 to 12:00 am would be the arrival time. Then they said it would be three more weeks before I could get another appointment. With that kind of service I'll go with somebody else.
