I found Scott on the internet and liked what he said about always using an agitator as he pumps. Its basically a gas powered machine that mixed up the sludge with the water in the tank so he can remove most, if not all of the solids. Crucial if you want to take care of your septic. (And who doesn't given the cost of replacement!) I had some issues which former septic companies who kept raising their rates, and would do a poor job removing the solids. The last time was so bad (the contractor is now out of business) I thought my system might be failing. Turns out, all he was doing is removing the water and none of the solids. Long story just a bit longer....Scott took his time, did a very thorough job, used a tarp to lay the sod and soil on to keep the grass is good shape, and even sprinkled some seed where he had to dig to access my system. Best part, his rates are the most reasonable I could find out of 6 other septic companies. Courteous, professional, reasonable and showed up on-time as promised. What's not to like? Highly recommend.

They scheduled us several weeks out from our call and all seemed fine until the day Cape Cod Septic Services was due to arrive. We were told to expect the truck between 8 and 11 so work schedules and such were arranged so someone was home. At 9 the office calls to say the driver is ill and the job will be done tomorrow/Saturday morning between 8 and 10. Guess what - after changing plans for yet another day no one comes, no one phones and calls made are not returned. We thought perhaps we got the message wrong and they would be coming Monday morning. If you're thinking -they didn't show again - you would be correct and still no phone call returning our calls from Saturday nor any explanation as to why no one showed. Our recommendation is skip this company and the hassles and go with Ready Rooter.
