Chasity was great very hospitable and had great recommendations, the room was great everything was clean, the only thing I would say is that if you're on the bottom floor you can hear the peoples foot steps but it did not bother me. read more

A quiet and relaxing weekend is what I needed after a stressful few months at the office. We were looking for something different than a hotel/resort. The Ocean Front Cottages were exactly what we needed. What a hidden little gem! It was right across from the beach. We stayed in the Jamaican room, which was so nice and clean! Had a great patio area. The pool was great to jump into after a day at the beach. We really enjoyed the fact that this was a "no children" zone. This was also close to great restaurants and golfing. Oceanfront Cottages was a fantastic place to stay for our anniversary weekend getaway. We stayed in the Havana Suite and it was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the shower had amazing pressure. There is a small fridge, microwave, Keurig, sink and a few glasses. The room and the whole building is very clean and well cared for. Chastity was very easy to communicate with and she gave us great food recommendations for our stay. We cannot wait to return! read more

We just wrapped up our second stay here and can't say enough about it. Chastity is the property manager and she is awesome! She made sure we always had what we needed and is a great resource for local places to eat / explore. The suites have everything you'd need to cook, or there are plenty of walkable places too. My husband and I just returned from a wonderful 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend in the St. Thomas Suite at Oceanfront cottages. We take several long beach weekends throughout the year, and we both agreed that Oceanfront Cottages is now our favorite go-to spot! The location is right across from the beach, and the views from our suite were really what made the location a perfect spot for us. With our own hot tub on our porch, full kitchen, separate living area and bed that both look out at the ocean waves...well, how could it be better? I guess the only thing that could make it better would be if the hot tub could somehow be on the balcony looking out at the ocean. We toured the Cayman Suite, Havana Suite, Bahamas Suite, and also the Sea Cottage, but the St. Thomas Suite is our favorite because of the very large balcony and the views of the ocean from anywhere in our room. The Cayman Suite offers the hot tub on the balcony looking at the ocean, but we didn't like the set-up of the suite quite as well as we did in the St. Thomas. Either way, this property has suites with varying layouts, and at least one of them will please most everyone! We opted not to have our suite cleaned, and instead we exchanged our towels each day on our own. There is a laundry area down by the pool where we could drop off wet towels (beach towels, kitchen towels, or bath towels) and pick up clean/dry ones. Several staff were present during our stay, maintaining the pool and the grounds in general. Each person we encountered was just so friendly! One gentleman even offered to help me carry my bags down the stairs this morning. So friendly! Though there were beach chairs available to borrow, we opted to just walk the sand or relax on our balcony, staring out at the ocean each day. If we didn't have a balcony suite, it may have made more sense to grab the chairs and walk across to the sand to plunk down for the day. We also really enjoyed the proximity to 5th Ave which is where the little shops and a few restaurants are located. The walk is equivalent to about 2 blocks or about 7 minutes, and is a quiet and easy stroll. Thanks to the folks at Oceanfront Cottages for providing the perfect holiday respite for us. We're already looking at our calendars to determine when we plan to return in 2016! read more

I was recommended by my parents to come to this particular establishment. Due to the cleanliness, views and they allowed dogs. To my surprise it was a very beautiful hotel. Although, there were a few minor problems we had, first they advertise you may bring your dog, but make sure he/she does not make a sound as the other residents will complain. Forcing owner to kennel your pet. Second, we rented a room with a hot tub. My husband and I decided to take advantage and use the jacuzzi. Yet again another complaint, this time we were sitting in our jacuzzi and the renters from below our room started yelling "excuse me! The water from the jacuzzi is pouring into our terrace." Needless to say we never used the jacuzzi again so we wouldn't have to hear the complaint. We were advised that maybe we should rent the more private townhome, as to avoid any complaints. Found the adorable place by chance online. Stayed in the Jamaica Suite for the weekend. Amazing! Clean, everything you could want in a suite. Location is perfect. The beach is beautiful. The pool is so refreshing after hours at the beach. Sat on the porch & napped. Walked the beach at night & saw sea turtles nesting... small, quaint. Perfect for couples. No kids under 12 full kitchen in this suite. Just can't say enough!! read more

Just got home from a four night stay. If you are looking for a nice, private way to social distance somewhere other than home look no further! Chastity is so sweet and always helpful! We stayed in the Bahama cottage and it was perfect in every way! All the little extras were thought out, from a perfect little private porch, a private 2nd entrance leading to the pool, a dedicated parking spot, USB ports in a couple of the outlets, nice linens, a very comfortable bed, great layout, a gas grill by the pool, access to additional towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas (even a rain umbrella on the porch, just in case) and the ability to use the washer and dryer... literally every little thing. The room was clean, bright, and beautiful. The beach was beautiful and not too crowded during the week (a little more on Saturday, but still easy enough to keep everyone in their own little space). I just can't say enough nice things about the Oceanfront Cottages. Go, you won't be sorry! We can't wait to go back! read more

Just finished our time here on a suite on the first floor, the Bahama. We've been coming to Florida this time of year for six years and this is the first place that we will do two years in a row, booked for 2021. The website is complete and accurate. The beach across the quiet street is spacious and uncrowded. You are close to various goods and services by walking or short rides. If you need more , Melbourne is a short ride away. Had a wonderful stay. Ambiance was five stars but had to take off one star for the check in/out process and cleanliness. They gave zero instructions on how to get to your room or leave it. Also instead of cleaning the jacuzzi before we got there, they cleaned it on our second day. We used it on day one and it had sand in it. The room itself was good. The perfect getaway. Steps from the beach, island decor, and personal service. What more could you ask?

The room was nice enough but small. Strong smell of bleach, ceilings are low our view was of the parking lot. The pool is basically large bathtub in size. Sound proofing from the upstairs unit didn't exist, we could hear every step they took. The manager flipped out when they saw we had more than one dog (we have 3, 75 lbs, 25 lbs and 17 lbs. Demanded that we leave and pay a $300 cleaning fee (they try to collect fees everywhere). The only thing we left behind was some dog hair. Then the manager accused of us doing drugs in the room - we don't do that - period. The owner also said Huskey's were mean and dangerous, I can't explain his ignorance or prejudice. Our dogs are the nicest dogs in the world, they love people and other dogs. So...If you're tall, don't stay there. If you're sensitive to noise, don't stay there. If you like you cannabis, don't stay there. If your sensitive to strong cleaning supply odors, don't stay there. If you're a dog lover of any kind, don't stay there. We stayed in the St Thomas Suite. It was the most relating week I've ever had at a beach resort. The owner and his staff know how to keep his guest happy. There are 5 units but it makes it seems as if you're the only guest. We have our own private hot tub and each unit has one too. We go down to the pool to excerise and we had the pool to ourselves. It makes you feel there's nobody around but you and your honey. We BBQ'd. There are washer dryer for your use. They provide nice dishes, pots, pans, glasses. The paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid aren't the cheap stuff. Very nice patio. Beach chairs and umbrellas available for the guest use. Towels, wash clothes, dish towels are provided. Private parking space. I've been in some top notched beach hotel chains/resorts and never felt this type of hospitality and relaxation. They also have units where kids are welcome. This is now my yearly vacation spot. read more

So I just got back from a nice vacation my husband and I took. We stayed here for nights. Let me just start off by saying these people who own this take a lot of devotion and effort to make you feel as if you are in paradise. It's self check in so when we opened our cottage there was romantic music playing...the place was absolutely beautiful....viewing the ocean... you get this private hot tub to yourself... they also have a cute swimming pool with water fountains... they even have a grill if you want to use it. I just don't know where to begin expressing the love I have for this place. We didn't want to leave... and usually after a few days of vacationing we miss home we miss our animals...... not this time lol. The cottages provide everything you need. And it's literally viewing the ocean and walking distance to local bars etc. We will most definitely be back!! Highly highly recommend!! read more

If you are looking for a cottage on the Florida Beach, the "Oceanfront Cottages" can't be beat. My wife and I were tired of the same old thing, glitzy hotels, bars, condos which are everywhere. We wanted something cozy, quaint, and caring. There are only five cottages but they have it all. Someone has gone the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. Cozy living room with plasma color flat screen TV, separate bedroom with plasma color flat screen TV, Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Pool, beach, WiFi, Air Conditioning. One of the cottages even has a hot tub. Your car is parked immediately outside your door, no long walk up stairs or elevators. Plus, it has privacy. It's the kind of place that we thought were all gone but it's been up dated with all the modern conveniences. The only problem, you need to plan ahead and book your reservations ahead of time. There are only five and they are in demand. We stayed in the Bahama Cottage. The upstairs units have a better beach view. See the web site for honest photos. read more
