Very cool, colorful motel right on the beach. Super nice courtyard area with seating, hammocks, grills with utensils, and horseshoes. Beach access just steps away. We stayed in a 1 bed room and it was clean, smelled nice, had working ceiling fan and AC. The room is very well maintained with a small kitchen including fridge, stove, sink, and coffee pot. Utensils, etc all included in room. We stayed one night so we didn't use them but they appeared to be in working condition. Our room was big enough for 2 people. The manager was extremely nice and professional. If you're looking for an affordable motel stay on the beach in this area this is a great option. It is a dated, affordable motel. Don't expect a night at the Hyatt.

I live on the west coast of Florida and needed something to do. My friend and I talked about going to Cocoa Beach and looking for a camp ground because I don't trust anyone to watch my dog I take him with me. We came across this hotel I was so excited to see they take dogs. The hotel is vary cute and clean. It reminds me of the older hotels from my youth. I will definitely be coming here a lot. On the Gulf Coast their is nowhere you can take your dog. Except to really crappie spots like the inter waterways. It really sucks. I will become a regular of this hotel.

Greeting the day at SouthBeach Inn Cocoa Beach,Florida!

This is the most beautiful hotel in all of Cocoa Beach! Pet friendly, lovely rooms, the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help! I can hear the ocean from inside my room at night...so soothing! A piece of heaven with really great people who run it! Adirondack chairs to great the sun as it comes out for the day, a grill to use. It's been such a lovely experience! Thank you Southbeach Inn!

In many ways South Beach Inn was just what we were looking for. We wanted somewhere cheap, that was on the beach, near my cousin, and would let our over 25 lbs doggy stay with us without having to give up an arm and a leg. Yes, South Beach Inn isn't a five star anything, but it got the job done. The refrigerator is in the "living room" The kitchen is about 3 by 5 feet. The beds aren't like sleeping on a cloud. The decor is boring and nothing special. When you sit down on the bed the lights turn out but when you stand up they come on again. If you lean against the wall while sitting on your bed it will role out from underneath you...and the list goes on and on. The outside area is defiantly the best part. You have a great deck to look out over the ocean, their are pretty palm trees, and fresh cut grass. You can lay in a hammock or sit under the gazebo. The beach breeze hits you as you walk out of your room, and if you want a cheap place to be on a beach with your pooch, this is it. The biggest problem we had with South Beach Inn was the parking. One night when we were there all the rooms were filled and so were the parking spots. Yep there was no where for us to park. One of our party parked in the handicap parking while we illegally parked next to a dumpster. All of the side streets for the next 3 miles are tow away zones, so you might want to ask how filled up the place is when you book.

Uneven burners made cooking very difficult.

Do not stay at this hotel. The customer service is the worst I have experienced in all of my years of traveling. I didn't complain when I walked in and saw a big hole missing from the wall. I could even live with the mildew in the bathtub and the missing shelves and rust in the refrigerator. I was disappointed to find that the burners didn't fit correctly on the stove so all of the pans and food slid sideways if you tried to cook on them and annoyed with the knob that fell off of the oven and by the phone that rang randomly for no reason and had to be unplugged, yet through all that I didn't complain. However, after progressively waking up each morning with more and more bug bites covering my body I finally had to speak up. I let the clerk know and he told me they would have an inspector come out and check the room for bed bugs. I let him know that I could not stay in that room another night and I needed to speak to a manager. The manager was not on the property so I had to wait for her to call me. After waiting all day I finally called back to the front desk. At that time I was told the inspector could not come out until the next day and I would only be given a refund if bed buys were found. At 12 the next day I finally got a call back letting me know that no bed bugs could be found. I asked if the room had been checked for fleas, and it had not been nor was I given any satisfactory explanation for why my body was covered with bug bites. Again, I explained that I had not been offered another room and I could not be expected to sleep in a room where I had woken up with over 20 bug bites and would like a refund for the 1 night I didn't stay in the room. I was then told that only a manager could offer a refund. Since I had requested a manager call me the previous day, I was very surprised to find out that I was STILL not talking to a manager and I requested to be called that day. That was 5 days ago and I am still waiting to get a hold of a manager. The ONLY good thing about this place is its location to the beach. Save your money. Do not stay here!

Extremely disappointing -- Hilton quality is clearly declining…read more I have stayed at Hilton properties for years, but after this experience, I'm seriously questioning why I continue to choose this brand. I booked the Hilton Cocoa Beach specifically because it is a beachfront property. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that hotel guests have to pay extra to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. At a beachfront Hilton, basic beach access and amenities should be part of the experience -- not another charge on top of an already expensive stay. This is beyond disappointing. The room itself also felt noticeably below the standard I associate with Hilton. No slippers, no iron, and towels so thin and worn that they felt more like budget-hotel towels. These may sound like minor details, but when you're paying Hilton prices, you expect Hilton quality. The staff was friendly, and I have nothing negative to say about their attitude. Unfortunately, friendly staff cannot compensate for a noticeable decline in quality, amenities, and overall service standards. What makes this even more frustrating is that this is my second disappointing experience with a Hilton-branded hotel in just three months. Two separate stays, two disappointments. Hilton used to be a brand I could book without hesitation because I knew what level of quality to expect. Sadly, that confidence is gone. The Hilton name no longer seems to carry the same standard it once did. After this stay, I think I'm done. There are simply too many other hotel brands that provide a better overall experience for the price. Loyalty has to be earned, and Hilton is quickly losing mine.

1 Star (because negative star is not an option) - BUG-INFESTED DUMP. DO NOT STAY HERE…read more A few years ago, this place was okay. My most recent stay? Hands down one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. This "hotel" is more like a BUG-TEL. Sure, it has beach access and a nice view, but that's bait. Do not fall for it. The so-called "upgrades" are lipstick on a pig, and once you're inside, it's all downhill. Check-in was a joke; the front desk woman was curt, dismissive, and borderline rude. No welcome, no hospitality. Then I walked into my room... and it was over. Once I got in bed, I was eaten alive by bugs all night! It was like trying to sleep in a buffet--for the bugs. I couldn't rest because every time I tried to close my eyes, I felt something biting me. My son and mom (in a separate room) were asleep, so I literally sat outside on a chair all night long, reading just to avoid being attacked. The next morning, covered in bites and running on zero sleep, I told the front desk what happened. Did I get an apology? Nope. She actually acted like I was the problem. As if I would invent a story about bugs and being awake for 36 hours just for fun. Yes, the sunrise was nice. Yes, I saw two rocket launches and some cute little crabs on the beach. But no amount of "Florida charm" can make up for a night of torture. Bottom line: this place is a bug-infested, customer service-optional nightmare. The cheap price and pretty view are a trap. Pay more. Stay anywhere else. I am a Central Floridian and I know for a fact there are better options than this dump.

The room had complimentary toiletries such as sanitizing hand wipes, makeup remover wipes, plenty of towels and rags, a BROOM AND DUSTPAN for the sand you bring in (an absolutely amazing touch in my opinion!), full wall mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the shower! The pool area was so great! Not just a normal pool, but a lazy river with 3 water falls, and a very shallow end for the small babies/tanning moms! Corn hole boards set up and ready for competition, jumbo connect 4 & Jenga tower, tiki umbrellas and colorful Adirondack loungers waiting for the next chill, outdoor eating areas, a FULL walk up bar WITH a great menu for lunch and snacks!
