Turns out it was just a little act and she actually cares nothing about me despite me being a very kind and clean guest, getting along with all the tenants and their cute doggies. It's nice they allow animals as guests and let you borrow surf or body board. the water pressure of the shower is very good and gets nicely hot. The thing is I live in Christmas, FL on a lovely 4 acre farm with rescued animals. and literally just was trying to get away from all the mind and soul obliterating situations that i've been consistently having to deal with for over a month. In my nearly 40 yrs of life i have had many professions including working out in the lettuce, grapes, cilatro, bell peppers etc in 110+ degree weather. I know a hard days work. I would do it all with a smile on my face, waking before the dawn, driving an hour to a random unmapped field and getting tennis elbow from the repetitive motions. I also worked for Gerald Busch at North University Park Prop Management after I went to college. His set up is incredible and so inviting and inclusive. he has his office open 24/7 with a comp and printer so one could easily print their homework on way to school. His props are 1 block north of the University and many students are international so I was able to converse with many types of people which I am eternally grateful to the man for that. he also always has a pot of rice and beans going for the "starving" students, a law library, a very helpful handyman who has been on board for 20+ years named Roberto! I know how a great operation is run. It starts with treating humans with human decency, inclusiveness and making allowances for things. After having a VERY NEGATIVE experience at Beach Place Guesthouse a couple miles away. A worker of theirs slapped my butt, said they would hire me to help complete an updated handicap restroom. I showed them the type of worker I am and cleaned up the drywall trash with my bare hands. They said they would be to my house at 7 a.m since I am without a car and would drive me the 40 miles to the job site. at 7 I called them they said they would come at 10am. at 10 I called and GAVE THEM MY ADDRESS (oh no!!, big mistake). THey then asked of I NEEDED FLOORING DONE?? I was supposed to be getting paid! they were drinking many cervesas on the job and assaulted me and said verbally abusive things but since I really desperately need a job I just pushed his hand away telling him not to do it again. This morning the manager came in and had zero minutes and seconds to talk to someone who paid $320 for 1 NIGHT when I could have just as soon been at my beautiful abode with loving animals. she was SIOO RUDE! i could NOT believe it!! She didn't want to hear my suggestion that a ramp should be added to the back entrance. (I've seen bathrooms upgrade to handicap with my uncle and grandmother so I knew this.) I guess she doesnt care about disabled people ,how cruel. Maybe something to do with her creepy baphomet statue thats eyes follow you. Well, thinking I had gained a true confidant in Jenni I called Surf Studio and talked to Flo who said she appreciated my glowing 5 star review and to definitely go walk the mile or 2 with all my gear in the 90ish temp to talk to Jenni who seemed to have little time for me as a paying guest. well my friend was going to meet me there to help with all my luggage (surfboard puppets, clothes etc) she pretty much said i should stay away from the guest who are paying "good money" and she understood i had some kind of altercation with my mother when I had divulged very confidential and personal info to the woman. Ouch times a million! Yikes ! can't a lady just surf in peace?

It is a quant small motel right on the beach, just north of Patrick AFB and south of Cocoa Nuts Restaurant and Ron Jon's. It has a large deck which is beach front with several umbrella tables, a fire pit as well as high bar chairs for scenic beach views. There is a pool as well as outside showers. This is a clean, friendly, modest hotel. The rooms vary from a small kitchenette to a full kitchen, both equipped with utensils. If you are looking for a place with an outside bar, large loud parties with a DJ, games on the beach, mini bar in the rooms, restaurant located on premises, this is not your place. On the other hand, if you are looking for a quiet setting, laying on the deck with a cool breeze, with friendly faces (AND dog friendly) this is the place for you. They also have surf boards and boogie boards for guests use FOR FREE. I highly recommend this family owned business!

Be sure to look at her artwork in the lobby hallway! She's so talented! At check in she made sure that I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler! That means the WORLD beyond measure! I received a $20 voucher to use at the bar/restaurant/gift shop! This place is so clean, well kept, and such a VIBE! The room was spotless! Soft beds and pillows! The room had complimentary toiletries such as sanitizing hand wipes, makeup remover wipes, plenty of towels and rags, a BROOM AND DUSTPAN for the sand you bring in (an absolutely amazing touch in my opinion!), full wall mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the shower! The pool area was so great! Not just a normal pool, but a lazy river with 3 water falls, and a very shallow end for the small babies/tanning moms! Corn hole boards set up and ready for competition, jumbo connect 4 & Jenga tower, tiki umbrellas and colorful Adirondack loungers waiting for the next chill, outdoor eating areas, a FULL walk up bar WITH a great menu for lunch and snacks! (Piña Colada by bartender Kayla was SPOT ON!!!). Also at 7pm the huge Jumbotron screen by the pool played the Minions movie and allowed for everyone to hear it and see it from the pool or anywhere outside your room! I was even able to do a load of laundry at the laundry area! Let's race to the full breakfast Buffett, full with fresh cooked eggs, sausage, pancakes, breakfast potatoes, bread, bagels, croissants, make your own waffle(add sprinkles!), cereal, fruits, muffins, cinnamon rolls, yogurt bar, fresh hot coffee, and yummy juices! I was very impressed with this place and will for SURE be coming back for my next stay in Cocoa Beach!

You can tell that a lot of love has been put in the decor because it evokes a feeling of seaside relaxation. The cottage is impeccably clean. The kitchen has a coffee, tea maker and mini fridge. It also has two beach chairs and umbrella. The beach is literally across the street. The outside patio is serene with a beautiful koi pond. Decided to stay and we are so glad we did. Stephanie the owner is so nice and helpful. There isn't a host on site from 6pm-8am but she is easy to get ahold of if needed. The resort grounds are kept VERY clean and tidy. Pool and pool patio were cleaned each morning. The pool is not heated but my son didn't mind the cooler water after being on the beach all day. Plenty of lounge chairs around pool and seating outside the pool area on a patio over looking the beach. Steps down to the beach were kept clean led off and clear of clutter. It would be really nice to have a ramp going down to the beach. Was a little tricky getting our beach cart down the stairs. The ice machine was out of service while we were there so we did have to buy ice for our fish but hopefully it will be available next time we visit. A big plus was the water hose available for us to wash out our coolers and beach gear. Patio also has 2 enclosed beach showers to rinse off as well. The overall feel was very cozy and relaxed. We stayed in room 104 on the bottom floor. King bed with pull out couch. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. We didn't pull out the bed since the couch was super comfortable so my son didn't want it pulled out. The provided LOTS of pillows which was VERY impressive. Room was very well laid out and clean. Shower was a little awkward since it's an open concept but water pressure was perfect. Hot and cold water worked very well. King bed was VERY comfortable. Firm but not rock hard. Hubby and I both slept like a rock. Big TVs in living room and bedroom. Lots of windows to let in all the sunshine! I only have a few suggestions/tips to add: 1. Heavier blankets. We had bedding for the pull out but a few heavier blankets would be nice. After being in the sun all day it's nice to be in a cold room under cozy blankets. 2. A sink in the kitchen area would be so helpful. Running back and forth to the bathroom to use the sink was a little annoying but not enough to dampen this review. 3. A broom and dust pan. This is a MUST. After 2 hours of being there our floor was covered in sand. I had no way of sweeping it up and since the bathroom was in the bedroom, we had a ton of sand on the floor beside the bed. 4. Sand rugs beside the bed to wipe feet on before getting in the bed. (I HATE sand in my bed) All in All this is a perfect place to stay if you're looking for direct beach access. We will 100% be coming back.

We could hear the ocean at night which was so relaxing. It is on a 5 lane road but the rooms sit back far enough that you couldn't hear the traffic at all (at least not in room 5). There is a kitchen with a table and 2 chairs. The cupboards had plates, glasses, silverware, pots/pans, etc. There is a small stove/oven and a hotel size refrigerator. It would have been nice to have a full size refrigerator. We would have been able to cook more meals if we would have had a larger fridge to store the food. There is also a small microwave. The living room had one chair, a small couch and a large tv. The bedroom was good sized. It had a queen size bed, a dresser and a small chair. It would have been nice to have a king size bed as that is what we have at home (that took a few days to get use to). And then there is a full bathroom off of the bedroom. It's a bit small and there is a pedestal sink so not a lot of room for hairbrushes/toiletries, etc. There are some small cubbies above the toilet though. The beach is very close to the rooms, maybe 40 feet away. The owners of this motel are super friendly. All in all, it was a very pleasant week there. We would definitely stay there again. PS - there is a fabulous restaurant directly across the street called The Blueberry Muffin that serves breakfast and lunch. It is a must!! Ask for your muffin to be grilled

We started vacationing at Las Olas when our oldest granddaughter was 5 years old. She is now a college professor, so we have been coming every year for quite some time. Built an managed by a great family and wonderful staff, Las Olas has provided many years of great joy for Jan and I, our children, grandchildren, and we are now anxious to start sharing our great summer vacations with our first great granddaughter. She was there this summer but still in the womb. So looking forward to next summer. Always nicely updated, always spotlessly clean, always awesome fun.

It was nice to get to know other families and to be social but we were also able to just be with our family and have quality time together. We did participate in the resort games and social activities but there was no pressure to do so. The pool was always clean and so was the resort. The condo's are very spacious. The staff was always willing to help in any way and were very hospitable. We absolutely loved our surf lessons with Lani! This is a must do if you stay here. And his art classes were great. We also did a boat tour with Captain Quinn and had a fabulous time. Honestly, staying at Las Olas was a different experience from any other beach vacation I have had! The hospitality and friendly staff and owners made for a great vacation! The Beach was not crowded, neither was the pool. We had a blast surfing and swimming in the ocean. We highly recommend this resort and hope to come again.
