Hands down one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. This "hotel" is more like a BUG-TEL. Sure, it has beach access and a nice view, but that's bait. Do not fall for it. The so-called "upgrades" are lipstick on a pig, and once you're inside, it's all downhill. Check-in was a joke; the front desk woman was curt, dismissive, and borderline rude. No welcome, no hospitality. Then I walked into my room... and it was over. Once I got in bed, I was eaten alive by bugs all night! It was like trying to sleep in a buffet--for the bugs. I couldn't rest because every time I tried to close my eyes, I felt something biting me. My son and mom (in a separate room) were asleep, so I literally sat outside on a chair all night long, reading just to avoid being attacked. The next morning, covered in bites and running on zero sleep, I told the front desk what happened. Did I get an apology? Nope. She actually acted like I was the problem. As if I would invent a story about bugs and being awake for 36 hours just for fun. Yes, the sunrise was nice. Yes, I saw two rocket launches and some cute little crabs on the beach. But no amount of "Florida charm" can make up for a night of torture. Bottom line: this place is a bug-infested, customer service-optional nightmare. The cheap price and pretty view are a trap. Pay more. Stay anywhere else. I am a Central Floridian and I know for a fact there are better options than this dump.

My wife and I along with our 14 year old son and soon to be 11 year old daughter. We live in Florida but were looking to staycation somewhere different. You can absolutely say that we found that at Las Olas Beach Club in Satellite Beach. Suzanne and Karen were wonderful to us and all of the guests at the property. I was even impressed that they remembered many of the guests names, that always makes you feel special. Lets start the review with the room. You are amazed as soon as you open the door. Every room in Oceanfront and when you open your door the first time and see the amazing view of the ocean through the sliding glass door it is an amazing start. I even shut the door and opened it again to allow my wife to get the same first impression. It is AWESOME. Our room was very spacious. The kids were able to have their own room with 2 twin beds and my wife and I took the master bedroom with a very large king size bed. There was also another smaller living room area with a TV in case we didn't already have enough room. There was also 2 bathrooms. If that wasn't great enough there were also showers in both bathrooms. That is pretty uncommon for places in our area and a huge benefit with 4 of us staying there. There was a large sectional couch and TV in the main living room plus a table to eat at. They also have a FULL kitchen with everything you need as well as a full size refrigerator and a coffee maker. I don't think they left anything out. Now our favorite part....the balcony. The balcony was very large and featured a table with 4 chairs as well as 2 lounge chairs that were very comfortable. I may or may not have taken a few naps out there. We ate outside for nearly every meal. The view was absolutely amazing and that is coming from someone who lives in Florida and sees the beach regularly. A storm came through one night and watching the lightning in the distance over the water was incredible. Even though it was summer time the ocean breeze was so nice that it made it very comfortable outside. Outside of the room, they have a pool and hot tub that were very relaxing. On certain days they feature entertainment as well. We participated in the Karaoke, the kids took part in the Ice Cream Social, my daughter made an amazing wall hanging during the Thursday Crafts by Karen. We paid $15.00 and what she made you would easily buy in the store for over $50.00. Karen was a wonderful instructor. The Karaoke DJ was wonderful too. She even got me to sing a song and I have only sang one time in my life. But hey it was Bon Jovi so it had to be done. They also have a Magic Show with Michael Van Ness. We were not able to make it to his show but have seen him perform before and would highly recommend you take in his show when you stay here. He is very entertaining and talented. If the amazing room, pool, hot tub and activities were not enough...the beach is absolutely amazing. There are far fewer people on this stretch of beach which was very nice. We found nearly 20 pieces of beach glass and tons of shells. My wife and kids were very happy. If you are into finding beach treasures this is a great place to do it. The water was wonderful and they have a nice shower and hose to clear the sand off of your body and feet before you go back to the pool. That was also very nice. If you have a family or a group of friends or are even just looking for a getaway, I can't recommend Las Olas Beach Club anymore. I have never stayed in a larger room and we truly felt at home. The full kitchen and 2 bathrooms were a huge plus. I honestly don't know how they get everyone to leave on Saturday, we wanted to move in permanently. Did I mention the view from the balcony??? They comped me a very(!) basic room at a nearby Hilton (a phone and a chair). If I'd wanted to stay in minimal digs, I'd have booked Motel 6. Thanks for nothing, Residence Inn. My advice; if you do book a stay at the Melbourne Residence Inn, get a confirmation letter signed by the Manager. That may(!) help to guarantee your room will be available when you arrive.

We stayed in unit 710 for the last week, and while our vacation was enjoyable there were a few…read moremajor hiccups. First the elevator situation is incredibly frustrating, so much so that it made me not want to go down to the beach. I am able to walk down stairs pretty well, but am not able to walk up the stairs. We were on the 7th floor and there was only 1 somewhat functional elevator in service on property. The second elevator had a sign on it stating they were hoping to have it working by the end of March, but a resident that we spoke to said the sign had said February at one point. The functioning elevator was tiny, unreliable, and constantly stopped on the 3rd floor. Many times we waited between 5-10 minutes just for the opportunity to board. Also, the functioning elevator was not able to be used from the second and fourth floor, which I'm sure is illegal from an ADA standpoint. Second, the water was shut off 2 days in a row during our stay. The first day it was off between 10am-2pm which was no big deal. The second day was an unpleasant surprise and we were told it would be off between 8am and 2pm. Third, if you want to use the pool you better go early! People come out around 8am and claim all the chairs and tables in the pool area, so unless you beat them down there you won't have anywhere to sit. Overall our unit was nice but was in desperate need of upgrading in the common areas.

For the last 15 years we have been coming here and have stayed in probably 10 of the units. Each is individually owned so there is quite a variability in decoration, furnishings and electronics but they all have been very serviceable. The condos are 2 or 3 bedrooms and are a very decent size. It is right on the beach, with your own balcony with ocean view. The property has a very nice pool as well, shuffle board and putting green. There are the usual snowbird vacationers but still quite nice for the kids. We saw a great firework show from our balcony last night put on by the city. The management here is responsive and helpful. Each unit has a fully stocked kitchen (minus food!), access to washer and dryer (though ours had a set in the unit) and two full size bathrooms. The units are not luxurious but a good value. Some could use with updating or doing away with the ubiquitous beach theme decorations but overall they are comfortable, clean and convenient.

Tables for gathering, a small centerpieces and personal touches all around. Warm, quaint, beachy and inviting. NOT fancy by any stretch. Double tree is a couple doors down if you prefer paying $300 a night to a corporate entity. They offer rooms and cottages. We took a room. Our room was super clean, uniquely decorated with painted furniture and cute paintings. The coffee maker was sparkling with full sized bags of coffee, enough for a full pot! Real cream for the coffee! Easy beach access, with complimentary chairs and boogie boards. Beach is beautiful!! We were able to watch the launching of Space X from the beach. Super cool, excellent view! I've saved the best for last....customer service. Shout out to Euda and Debbie! They reminded me why I love Mom and Pop operations. While I dont think they own, they made sure our stay stand out with their kindness and warmth that you don't find in the chains. Don't hesitate to check out this sweet little spot! 5 stars and more!!
