Went for a wedding, amazing place . Very very clean all amenities were great. Got there early before checking in and the room was not ready BUT we were able to enjoy all the amenities so we changed and enjoyed the pool and the beach with a bar. They had music playing very relaxing. Plenty of parking and plenty of restaurants out of the hotel to eat. All stores near by, great location.

Great Oceanfront location! Hidden Gem! Erin at the Front Desk Welcomed us with a smile and was super friendly and very helpful. We told her it was our first time visiting the area and she went out of her way to offer local restaurant and activity information. She is a tremendous asset to the hotel and a great representative of the Hilton brand. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We also appreciated the Free Parking for hotel guests. Beach Access was easy from just behind the hotel pool area. We loved our stay and will definitely be back again. Thanks again to Erin and Karee at the front desk!

Been coming here for many years at this point. Still have a wonderful experience and the hotel staff (many of the same people after 8 years) are fantastic. The bartender Rachel was awesome to talk to.

We had a nice mini vacation here for Thanksgiving weekend. We'd been here many years ago. And we've gifted stays here in the past to relatives. Since we first stayed here, they've remodeled and refreshed a number of areas. And added a few other features. My husband is a diamond member for life, so we were able to be upgraded to an ocean view room and to receive a meal credit for each day of our stay. Plus we were given two drink coupons to use at the bar. The king-bedded room was located in building 2. You could tell coming up the elevator that the hallway walls had been painted recently and the floors fairly newly redone as well. The room, itself, had a lovely view of the beach/ocean as well as the pool from windows and from the balcony. We were high enough up (the 5th floor) not to hear any chatter from outside. But we could still hear the sound of the ocean waves which I love. Inside the room, there were all the amenities --- including a large flat screen tv, coffee maker, and small fridge. Plus, a pull-out sofa and a writing desk with chair. The only thing else I would have liked was a microwave, but lately these are less prevalent in many hotels. The bathroom was clean and large. There was a walk-in shower (no tub) with all the amenities in pump bottles attached to the wall. The only odd thing was that the shower head was on the ceiling towards the front of the shower stall and there was not a full door to close the shower. I always travel with a shower cap, but that would have been nice to have been supplied. They have a buffet breakfast each morning at the hotel. It's not inexpensive but was worth not having to get dressed and drive. It's a full range of eggs along with breakfast meats, fruit, cereal, oatmeal and grits, and pastries, breads, etc. Each day they also had a changing item added -- either corned beef hash, or biscuits and gravy, etc. If you didn't want the scrambled eggs as on the buffet, they would cook your eggs to order. And the buffet also included juice and tea/coffee or a beverage of your choice. With our meal credit ($30 each day), we couldn't beat the price anywhere else. We didn't take advantage of the pool. It was a bit cool for us, but a number of northerners were enjoying it along with the hot tub. We did have a lovely stroll along the beach (the hotel is beach front) to look for shells. And we did use our coupons at the outside tiki bar where I had a delicious coconut margarita. My husband was able to use the fitness center for his daily exercise. I used the hotels' computers -- there are two located next to the check in desk -- to research (on yelp, of course) a few restaurants and attractions. Would I stay here again? Yes. Free and easy parking. A nice comfortable modern room. Pleasant staff. And a convenient location.

We found this beachfront property to be a welcome refuge for our Thanksgiving holiday mini vacation. The staff were professional and helpful. Our room was very nice with a great ocean and pool view from our balcony. Breakfast buffet was good and very convenient. After a walk on the Beach we stopped at the pool side Tiki bar and had a great Coconut Margarita whipped by the knowledgeable bar tender because my wife cant have pineapple or mango in beverages. Very good and refreshing. The hotel was very convenient to destinations we wanted to visit in the area. Parking is adequate and there is a covered garage with access to interior elevators. After breakfast each day I got to visit the fitness center which has the latest equipment to work with. Wifi access and two computer terminals in the lobby worked very well! A great place to lodge when in the Melbourne Beach area.

I read all the mixed opinions on this beachfront hotel before I arrived and was a smidge nervous given the many negative reviews. Arrival was great, the front desk staff was very welcoming, professional and friendly. We were in the North tower which has fantastic views of the beach/ocean. Yes, they are Juliette balconies but I could care less given the view was so outstanding... particularly at sunrise. Our room was standard looking, comfortable and clean. I have stayed at beachfront properties in California and found the rate here very reasonable for rooms with fantastic views. Yes they charge for parking, but knew that up front too so had no issue paying (super standard in my experience at beachfront hotels). The lobby was lovely and the access to the beach so easy... we even got to see a spectacular SpaceX launch on our last evening!

Seeking to return to Melbourne Beach this time was considering staying at the DoubleTree on A1A but a great rate became available at the Hilton Melbourne Beach so decided to stay there once again, especially after having such great experiences previously. There is plenty of parking available, although there is a daily fee but the lot is not gated so not being secured still seems strange that a fee is charged. The entire staff we encountered was very friendly and eager to please, especially upon check-in where I was upgraded to a 1 Kg Jr Suite Oceanfront - Sofa Bed - Balcony - thank you again! My guest room (1012) was large and clean with a sweeping northern, eastern, and southern view of the sprawling beach and Atlantic Ocean. The terrace was narrow and basically only permits standing so while I know not possible, a larger one would be nice having such an amazing view. I was even able to get some amazing sunrise pictures from it. The restaurant is open daily and for breakfast you can choose from the daily buffet or order off a menu. The servers we had on both days we were there were also very friendly and attentive, especially Tim who we've come to know now. While the swimming pool is relatively small, luckily it was not that busy when we were there, so finding a place to relax was not an issue and I think the lounge chairs were recently upgraded to have cushion toppers. The patio bar is great to have refreshments nearby with even a complementary coupon per guest given to Diamond Members at check-in. The hotel is right on the beach so from the pool to beach is literally just steps away and very convenient including pool-side showers. If you're looking for a hotel on the beach in a not so hustle and bustle area, then definitely check out the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront; no doubt, we will be back again soon!

June 2023 I booked a room at the Hilton Hotel Oceanfront in Melbourne Beach, FL for Deacon's first trip to the beach. The room was lovely! #907 Oceanfront in the main tower. The beach was lovely from the 9th floor. We had a lovely Juliette Balcony. We also had a wonderful view of the pool, beach and walkway and the tiki bar below. Definitely will stay there again!!!

This GM obviously listens to suggestions by employees and customers. Robinson at the outdoor bar is an elite bartender. The view, staff, food and drinks are top notch.

If you are able to get an oceanfront view, that alone sells the hotel. It's such a therapeutic experience hearing the waves crashing onto shore. We also ate dinner at their bar last night it was good. Of note, they do have an impossible burger for vegetarians. The outside pool deck is also very pretty. We enjoyed our night cap there while listening to the waves. The hotel is clean and the room is comfortable.

Super small portions. This is what you get when you order a side of fries with your food! I was still hungry when I left!

Incredibly small portions for the food that I received at the restaurant. I will include a picture I think I received 10 fries total with my order. The hotel bar also closed super early. I'd highly recommend the crown plaza down the street which has a better bar and restaurant. My company had some employees staying at that hotel and it had a much nicer restaurant and bar! I really liked the room at the hotel, but I almost started laughing when they gave me my food and it really ruined my experience.

Ask the Community - Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront

Beachfront means hotel offers complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas? Are there a bar service for the beach?!

Mother's Day brunch? Price and are you taking reservations?

I would call the hotel. I don't know if they are doing it this year. It is a nice place!

The lovely Marie who was so engaging and helpful with a can do attitude is no longer there. The current staff never welcomed us or even made a weak attempt to make conversation with us. No smiling, just acted like they were being put upon. I did observe this with other people waiting to check in. No waters were offered and they were always found not at the front desk when we needed something. I will say upon checkout Richard was nice , but we only saw him about 5 minutes, just long enough to check out. The breakfast which used to be quite good was really terrible this time. Even if you got there before they opened, the bacon was either flabby or burnt and that was the best thing offered besides a basic bagel or toast. Sausages cold and do were eggs and potatoes. Not even edible. One bite of each and it was over. The hotel is located close to some good restaurants, so we made it work. That staff was even less friendly and that was not the case on prior visits. The room was nice as always though someone banged hard on our door in the middle of the night. We did not open the door, but think it was just some rowdy teenagers ( what we could see thru the peephole). The rooftop restaurant and bar was closed for an event. Having said all that, we still love the location. Hope the front desk staff receive some customer service training and all will be well. I'm friendly and really get irked when people act like I'm putting them out with a simple question.
