Specifically for "The Bistro" Apologies for the lengthy post in advance. We checked in today and noticed that The Bistro was listed as being open until 10:00 PM. Around 8:40 PM, I went downstairs to ask about laundry services and dinner options. I want to note that the front desk staff was excellent -- very kind, professional, and informative. Unfortunately, my experience at The Bistro was very different. When I approached the bar area to place a to-go order for my room, the bartender, Nikkii, responded by saying, "I guess, but people don't normally do dinner this late," while giving me a very uncomfortable look. Considering the restaurant was still open for another hour and a half, I found that comment inappropriate and unprofessional. I then asked if the restaurant's hours had changed from the posted 10:00 PM closing time, but instead of clarifying, she simply stated that I could not order soup because it is prepped in the morning. While I completely understand certain menu limitations later in the evening, the overall interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. As someone who also works in the service industry as a bartender, I understand that late-night orders can sometimes be frustrating, but it is still important to treat guests with courtesy and professionalism during operating hours. After placing my order, I realized that Nikkii herself would be preparing the food, which honestly made me uncomfortable given the attitude displayed throughout the interaction. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the front desk staff set a wonderful tone for the stay, and it was disappointing for the dining experience to feel so unnecessarily negative. A little more patience and kindness toward guests would go a long way. read more

Beautiful place to stay at an incredible location. Probably like 15 minutes from Indialantic Beach with is the straightest shoot, but go a little further down on A1A to Spressard Holland for a nicer beach and a better time with free parking. Lots of great fishing nearby at Kiwanis Park at Geiger Point which is 11 minutes away. We were there for a Father's Day weekend and the property is so well kept and clean. Carpets everywhere look clean, staff is nice, the rooms are spacious and VERY CLEAN. This will be our family's go-to next time we're on the Space Coast. read more

This place is great is you're looking for a couple of night stay or catching an early flight out of MLB. They don't have all of the same perks as other hotels geared towards longer stays (4+) days. The staff are friendly and I would recommend staying here if you are a short-termer! read more

Clean rooms good staff, location isn't bad though there's quite a bit of construction going on the street the hotel is on. There's decent food locations and plenty of other shopping areas too. The lobby has nice areas to hang out and work in but the pool needs a little work. Will definitely stay there again. read more

Nice hotel in a good location, mostly clean and quiet with great balconies. Friendly staff and there's many good food options nearby. The only minor downside is that it's a bit dated but it has almost no negative impact on the overall experience of staying here. An employee entered my room unannounced at 8:45pm because they thought my monitored door was ajar. I'm platinum for life with Marriott and no other hotel does this. I've stayed there for over 9 yrs. What if my wife just got out of the shower? What if I was nervous and had a gun? What if I needed sleep for work? Their response is unacceptable. Stay away and go to the Residence Inn or other Marriotts nearby. I've confirmed Courtyards elsewhere would never do this. read more

oom was excellent... They did an Upgrade. Especially people like Margaret should work in the front desk -she is more pleasant than the person who checked me in. She really values Gold Elite Lifetime, compared to the girl who checked in. I had been to the same Marriott way back i dont have the exact year after 2006 before 2012 ....i was there and Security guys went out of the way to help me since my bag was torned..one of them gave again to inform and take me to the elevator i cannot say more words or better words- he deserves real recognition....he has the true dedication at his stay and longevity- wonderful... Lady in the morning was kind enough to do late check out at 1 pm but unfortunately key was not working...she tried hard...but did not work on the side door..have to come to the front desk again Anyhow, the traffic is so bad that i could have reached by 12:11 pm -whole 192 was blocked and there was an accident - same goes with I-95 otherwise i would have been there at 11:58 am.... Christmas traffic i guess or not sure...i dont live in that area. sorry to be totally frank honest, ethical and integrity - people say i speak my mind direct...could be naive or gullible Room was really good- they upgraded..it was closer to the Elevator Very close- For an Asian Indian Old Thick accent man with lot of luggages this would be best I was there on May 1'2014 almost midnight or 1 AM . We stayed in town for the local marathon and wanted to be close to food options. This location is PERFECT for that. There's a mall (that's not dead!) and a wide assortment of dining choices. It's very obviously an older property, but it was very clean and comfortable. read more

On their website, this hotel is listed in Melbourne, FA. You can use FL or Fla, not FA, but anyway I wanted a nice hotel that wasn't going to smell or be uncomfortable. They missed the boat on that one, at least for the room they put me in. The staff at the desk were all very nice, although when I was checking in there was a man who was shadowing, assisting, & monitoring the woman. Maybe she was training, but he seemed bossy and not like a nice fellow to work with. They also flaunt their gifts, like little free vitamins and magazines, only for people who have stayed at their hotel for more than 150 days out of the year on the front counter; it is an eye sore. I found my room all the way at the end of the hall by the back exit and pulled my car around to unload. It was a convenient room, but when I opened the door, I wished I had another room. The room smelled foul like a toilet. I know this because I just came from staying in a dorm room, so I know what foul toilet smell is. It covered the whole room. They have an alternative for a window which is a sliding door that only opens a few inches so I can barely get any air. I get that this room might be often requested for it's convenience, but I did not request convenient. The bed was flat and I woke up with a stiff neck despite having four pillows. There seems to be three floors to this place, so maybe try allowing guests to stay in the rooms that aren't completely worn, smelly, and dingy. I went to the café in the morning and did not want to be disappointed by an $11 avocado toast, so I just had some tea. I am happy for the late checkout at noon, but I want to leave my room anyways. I love locally and needed a place to crash while some plumbing issues were being taken care of. I chose the courtyard because I've never had any issues with any of the Marriott properties I've ever stayed at and this did not disappoint. It's conveniently located right on 192 with the mall and other establishments (restaurants & shopping) nearby. Check in was a breeze. There's a bistro in the lobby but I can't comment on that since I did not eat there. My room was located on the first floor and I like how you have the side entrances to come and go as you please. My room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was spotless as well. My only complaint was low water pressure BUT I can overlook that because everything else was great. Checking out was just as easy as checking in because I literally did it with a push of a button on my tv remote. Slipped the keys in the key drop boxes by the side entrance and I was on my way! I travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels and the biggest hassle is the long line at the front desk with everyone trying to check out at once. So a quick and easy check out process is always a PLUS. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those who are visiting the area and if I personally get any or of town visitors that I can accommodate in my own home, then the courtyard is where I'll send them! read more

Wow, what a lovely property! While I'm used to staying at Marriott TownePlace Suites and Residence Inn hotels, I had not stayed in a Courtyard for a while! I'm currently staying at the property with a friend as we are visiting the Kennedy Space Center in the morning. The service was very nice and each staff member was welcoming to me and my friend visiting from Australia as a guest. The front desk clerk was very friendly and appeared to be sincere. She was not friendly just to be friendly but friendly because that's the nature of the person it seemed. The evening manager was just as courteous and had explained his experiences about the Kennedy space Center and gave us some pointers. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was well appointed and really nice. I would highly recommend this hotel. read more

Guest service personnel were very friendly and accommodating. There are a few parts of the hotel (stairwells in particular, but also the elevator and hallways) that seem a bit worn out. A little attention to these areas would put my rating at a 5 star. read more

MAYBE OKAY FOR YOU BUT NOT FOR ME! Back in the day, we didn't always make reservations. We would simply pull up, ask to see the property and if we liked it, we booked the room. My husband thought it was strange at first but then he started to like it because there were no surprises and we always got exactly what we wanted. We are in the area and decided that we wanted to look at a local hotel for our last night. We were curious about Courtyard and drove over to see it. The front desk associate was very kind and took me up to the second floor to see one of their rooms. I have never seen a hotel room of this small. It was very compact and we would literally be bumping into one another. It did have a King bed but just wasn't an option for us. I don't know if this room is standard but I would encourage you to check before you book. Also, microwaves and refrigerators are not standard issue. When you look on line, they say that these items are available upon request. However, this room only had a fridge and no oven. Obviously we were not able to stay here because they just couldn't meet our needs. I will say that they have a very nice lobby and bistro. I loved the rich colors and well appointed decor. One other thing I noticed was that the hallways were very warm and that too is a problem in this heat. Good luck! read more

I'm going to start off with all the positives. All staff are welcoming and friendly, this includes the housekeeping staff and maintenance. The Grab and Go breakfast is just as enjoyable as the buffet offered pre COVID. The rooms are dated but clean. Negatives: If a guest appears "sketchy" they probably are. Please please DO NOT ALLOW GUESTS that appear to be HIGH, GANG RELATED or is PROSTITUTING in your establishment FOR THE SAKE OF LAW/RULE ABIDING GUESTS. I am traveling with my special needs son (evacuated re: Hurricane) and was on the first floor. At 0300 am a group of 4 men were banging on my sliding door and whistling to the woman in the room above mine (staff says she works at night so noise is normal) I immediately called the police and then the front desk. My son and I left our room to meet the police at the Reception Desk and 2 of the men and the woman from upstairs followed Us to the Reception area (no masks were being worn by them and NOTHING was said to them, MY SON has cardiac, kidney disease ) as she was verbally belligerent, disrespectful etc. She was "Trespassed" and made to leave. The hotel moved my son and I to a "Suite" for our trouble. REALLY? We are here for 5 nights....... we're scared to death at 0300 and I had complained about the "Noise" situation my FIRST night here with no solution. I will NOT stay here again. I know the staff are working hard during COVID however THIS WAS NOT A COVID ISSUE. I'm a Retired Nurse and my son has Cardiac issues that require us to stay in hotels during our visits to his MD in Tampa. I'm disappointed in Marriot and will reconsider future visits. For business travel, this place is great. While I didn't have to encounter the front desk staff much (room was located right near a side entrance - woohoo!) the two women I interacted with during my stay were incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. My room was clean and had a great desk set up. The Wifi worked perfect the entire time. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom is set up with the sink outside the toilet and shower, which can be very helpful when traveling with companions. I was able to get an extra 250 points a night by opting not to have my room made up during my stay. As I only stayed 2 days and was working a lot out of the room, this was perfect for me. The room also has a mini fridge. I did not try breakfast or dinner here but appreciate they offer both. Dinner can be really helpful after a long work day. Bottom line - great place in Melbourne to get work done away from the office for a very good price. read more

I'm a seasoned Marriott guest, and this is a larger than average Courtyard property. The rooms, bistro, go board, market, gym, and business center are pretty standard fare for the brand, but its size and proximity to I -95 set it apart. It is not very close to the Melbourne beaches, but is close to a bevy of restaurants. I came for business, utilizing one of the at least two conference rooms. The conference rooms are spacious and provide free wireless. The only downside during my most recent visit was ants galore in the conference room; of course this was in the midst of a typical Florida summer, so it's understandable. The front desk is friendly, and I particularly appreciated that I was offered tips on dining options in the area upon arrival. I've stayed here multiple times, and will be glad to stay here again. read more

The lobby area here is very nice and newly updated. The bistro has plenty of options for breakfast, snacks, a bar, and they Proudly Serve Starbucks. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hallways were less impressive and the elevator slow and noisy. Our room was nice enough. The furnishings were fairly new and in good condition. I always appreciate having electrical outlets convenient to the night stand for charging our myriad array of iPhones, iPads, etc. What I didn't like about the room was the beds. Marriott normally has very comfortable beds but our room at the Melbourne Courtyard had a ridge about 1/3 of the way in, making for a slight drop off that was annoyingly uncomfortable. The shower area was spartan but in good condition. Overall, the lobby and bistro areas were excellent, but the room was pretty standard. read more

Excellent customer service saved this from being a three star review. From check-in, through housekeeping, to check-out, everyone was friendly and eager to please. Room was clean, bedbug check was negative. The mini-fridge could have used some attention, but a minute with a damp Kleenex did the trick. There was an iron, ironing board, tiny coffee maker, and hair dryer provided, as well as soaps and shampoos. The room itself, though, was in need of maintenance. The shower head plate was off the wall and hanging on the shower head. The tub faucet was loose and the caulking around it cracked and falling off. The toilet flush handle was loose and flopped around when flushing. Everything worked, but needed some attention. Didn't look like the balcony had been cleaned in some time, and the sliding glass doors were grimy. I borrowed a rag and cleaner from housekeeping (no, she didn't offer to do it for me) and cleaned the doors myself. This was the only employee I encountered who was not guest oriented. WiFi worked great, easy to access. Didn't eat at the Bistro, but was glad to see it there in case. Bed comfortable and I slept great. It was nice to have a live human give me my wake-up call, but I almost just hung up the phone without finding out about the human presence since most places have recordings now. I have been coming to this Courtyard for many years. It is an older hotel, but is very well-maintained. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly manicured. Most rooms have some kind of little balcony, and if you are lucky enough to get a poolside room, you have a very nice lush garden area to look at. There is also plenty of free parking. The fantastic, friendly hotel staff makes this hotel even more of a pleasure to visit. On my most recent stay, "Johnny" at the check-in desk was particularly nice and friendly, and quick to give me restaurant tips and other area tips. "Sharon" in the breakfast room is another great employee. She keeps the buffet area neat, well-stocked and clean; all while running around tending to guests' needs. These types of employees are what keep me coming back here. The rooms themselves are very nice, clean and roomy. There's a work desk (free wi-fi), a sofa, coffee table, mini-fridge, and coffee pot. The beds are comfy and clean. Even though the hotel is older, the rooms seem very updated with new carpeting and furnishings. There is a little business center in the lobby, as well as an area to sit and watch TV. There's a restaurant that serves a full buffet breakfast, but there is a charge for it (the buffet is a little expensive - around $10). Sometimes, you can get the breakfast included in your hotel rate (such as I did). If you can get this rate, go for it - the buffet is delicious and you can also order off the menu. All in all, this is a great hotel. There are lots of choices in the area, but, I always come back here. It's conveniently located to the little downtown area, as well as shops, department stores, and a mall across the street. The pristine public beach is a quick 15 minute (or less) drive across the causeway. Try this hotel - it's all good! read more

For $89 a night, this was a steal. Very safe area with secured access. The pool and hot tub we're very clean and the hotel was clean and taken care of. The rooms were also very clean, no funny smells or dirty beds with sand in them. For $99 a night you get one breakfast (extra are $10/each). Probably the best deal in town that we could find. For what you pay and what you get, this hotel gets 5 stars. read more

My wife and I stayed here in March of 2016. We found the property to old but clean. We did ask to have our room switched at check-in due to a "musty" smell in the first room. The staff was pleasant about the change however. I thought that the rates were reasonable given the age of the place and compared to the rest of the hotels in the area. I guess that it why there seemed to be a lot of groups and sports teams staying here at that time. Positive note...location is nice & hotel is clean. Decor is what you expect from a Marriott (which is my preferred chain by choice as I travel often). This Marriott leaves something to be desired in the helpfulness of the staff. Granted the two college aged girls working the front desk were as pleasant as anyone could ask for when I checked in but I did have to wait as things were rechecked when I informed them that the room had been booked for me and was prepaid. The male working overnight only gave us a disgusted looked at 4:30am when we purchased sodas (giving him the benefit of the doubt that he doesn't deal with many business people that arise at 4:00am typically & need a caffeine jolt) & later this morning, when asked about how to hook in to the "paid" high speed internet connection to stream the football game (since the directions given don't work), a simple " I'm sorry we can't help you" is the answer...this particular Marriott is going downhill fast for me. I have one more night here (barring anymore nerve-plucking occurrences)...really hate that this Marriott turned out to be a disappointment (as I frequently travel to this area). Luckily...I'm sure Marriott will have another somewhere in the area & when I return in a month, this one will be far behind me. read more

I appreciate a nice looking hotel as it makes one feel safe and secure, but I guess my expectations of sleep (Which is why we get rooms right?) was to much to ask for. It was a noisy hotel all night. This was an older building as the interior is looking a bit dengy. I had an early morning wake up call and maybe that's why I thought it was noisy but you could hear a lot of noise and people talking all night. Stayed there for one night with my husband. Was extremely pleased with everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was pretty spacious. It's had king size bed that was very comfortable, a small couch with a table, a desk with a rolling chair. We had a small balcony that faced the pool. Got into the shower to discover the showerhead was broken and someone had 'fixed' it by tying it to the fixture with a piece of string. The water sprayed out towards the wall. Called the front desk and they offered to send engineering up but I had to check out in order to catch my flight. They shouldn't have put a guest in a room with a broken shower. read more
