Made a SUPER last minute reservation to stay here the night of 10/15 while driving to KW. (Got too…read moretired to finish the drive). The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The woman who was working breakfast on 10/16 made sure the breakfast area was the cleanest I'd ever seen. Even the waffle maker was spotless. There was also a young black gentleman who was tidying up the lobby. He was stopped by an elderly lady asking him to do a bunch of random things (change the channel in the breakfast area, angle the curtains just so, figuring out where things were in the lobby, etc), he was so very kind and courteous to her. Did anything with a smile. It was so nice to watch I forgot to get his name.

I wish I was able to give a higher score for the review but there were some challenges with my stay. I was not able to check in on time, despite check in being at 1600. The lady was bothered with multiple check ins and outs. Housekeeping couldn't keep the demand. They did fortunately accommodate my request for a quiet location but it didn't help much in the end as the hvac was super loud making it hard to sleep even with the bedroom door closed. This issue isn't limited to this hotel obviously. Most do so well in structure and comfort, yet have these loud mechanical systems that ruin it. Overall, given that it's very clean and well maintained for now, I would stay again just with earplugs ;)

Around 8:40 PM, I went downstairs to ask about laundry services and dinner options. I want to note that the front desk staff was excellent -- very kind, professional, and informative. Unfortunately, my experience at The Bistro was very different. When I approached the bar area to place a to-go order for my room, the bartender, Nikkii, responded by saying, "I guess, but people don't normally do dinner this late," while giving me a very uncomfortable look. Considering the restaurant was still open for another hour and a half, I found that comment inappropriate and unprofessional. I then asked if the restaurant's hours had changed from the posted 10:00 PM closing time, but instead of clarifying, she simply stated that I could not order soup because it is prepped in the morning. While I completely understand certain menu limitations later in the evening, the overall interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. As someone who also works in the service industry as a bartender, I understand that late-night orders can sometimes be frustrating, but it is still important to treat guests with courtesy and professionalism during operating hours. After placing my order, I realized that Nikkii herself would be preparing the food, which honestly made me uncomfortable given the attitude displayed throughout the interaction. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the front desk staff set a wonderful tone for the stay, and it was disappointing for the dining experience to feel so unnecessarily negative. A little more patience and kindness toward guests would go a long way.

We stayed here for 3 days recently and I have only one negative thing to say about it. Our roomed smelled. It was a mix between musty, body odor, and cat pee. My husband assumes me that "That's just Florida", and if that's the case I would encourage the staff to invest in some heavy duty air fresheners. I don't doubt that we'll stay here again, but we may insist upon not being on the 1st floor.

Not even edible. One bite of each and it was over. The hotel is located close to some good restaurants, so we made it work. That staff was even less friendly and that was not the case on prior visits. The room was nice as always though someone banged hard on our door in the middle of the night. We did not open the door, but think it was just some rowdy teenagers ( what we could see thru the peephole).The rooftop restaurant and bar was closed for an event. Having said all that, we still love the location. Hope the front desk staff receive some customer service training and all will be well. The next day upon our arrival we had a last minute change of plans, because the room had a very limited direct ocean view and weather was going to be raining the whole time, so a balcony or direct ocean front view was a must. Kim was kind enough that she showed us 3 other alternatives available and offered us a full refund if we didn't like any. So we went somewhere else but the little tour we took and all the little amenities, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, the pool, the bed in the room, jacuzzi bathtub, breakfast place, everything looked prestige!!!
