I have stayed here twice and in my recent visit we left a jacket behind. On our way to the airport I called to let housekeeping know that we forget a jacket. Now this jacket was not haute couture but it meant a lot as it was a gift. I was told that I would receive a call back from them after housekeeping checked the lost and found. After calling them several times I was told the GM would contact me. They were not able to find the jacket and it was not turned into the lost and found as it should have been. The response I received from the front desk was basically - you're out of luck. This is not acceptable. The housekeeper either took the jacket or threw it away. I never received a call from the GM. I will never stay here again. It's too bad because one employee actually stood out and was helpful. She was professional and treated the guests well. I will shout out to Paulette at the front desk. Otherwise I wouldn't trust the housekeepers so I will Never stay there again. read more

Spent the night before heading to the cruise port. Quiet hotel with very basic amenities. Spacious room with comfortable bed and clean rooms. Customer service was pleasant I noticed that no one was wearing uniform so it was had to figure out who was working. They did have name tags so I guess that's how you can tell. If you drive an electric vehicle there is a charging station down the street at the Dunkin Donuts. read more

Yuck. Not very well cared for and it felt dirty, from stuff on the walls and floors, to the dirtiest chair I've ever seen. However, the frosting on the cake was the bug that ran when my husband opened the cabinet containing the refrigerator. Travis at the desk was very nice when we complained, but it didn't accomplish anything other than not being charged for canceling the rest of our reservation. Time for Hilton to close this location, but complaining to Hilton corporate only refers you back to the individual hotel. read more

Great hotel! The staff is very nice and the rooms where clean. I cannot give this place 5 starts due to its location and their breakfast wasn't very good either. There isn't much around the hotel, it's literally at a dead end road. However, because there is nothing around it is nice and quiet. The breakfast is powered eggs and some sort of precooked protein. I would pay for fresh eggs and i wish more hotels offered this option. The walls in this hotel are so thin I could hear my neighbors opening up their cans of beer while I laid in my bed. I am a Hilton member so I always lean toward staying at Hilton's and i just think this one could do a little more. read more

I booked this hotel based on reviews on Trip Advisor. I have stayed at other hotels in the area over the years and this one has been the best so far. I stayed 1 night at this hotel for a personal trip. I paid for the stay (no travel vouchers or points). I booked through Travelocity as a package with airfare and car. Location It is very easy to get to/from the hotel, it is on a main road and right near the entrance to 95. As for restaurants and shopping, you do need a car to get around, but there is a lot to choose from up and down the main roads. Room I had room 323 with a King Bed. I had called the hotel directly the morning of my arrival to verify my room was in order and pre-paid. I spoke with Helen and she asked while she had me if I had any room location preferences as she was getting ready to assign the rooms for the day. I requested a high floor away from the elevator and ice machine and that's what I got. The room was a nice size. The bathroom was large, a fair amount of room around the sink area for makeup bags, etc. The sink is outside the room with the shower/commode. The lighting is good for putting on makeup. The hotel was very quiet. The lobby has some renovations going on but they are working around it. All you see is a big plastic sheet and they've moved the business center and breakfast to other area. No big deal. The hvac was not terribly noisy. The room is a little cheesily decorated, but up to date and very clean and everything worked. Check In There was one person at the desk. Check-in and check-out were easy, no lines. Hotel Staff The hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful. At breakfast there was always someone available to make sure the area was clean, items were filled and to answer questions or assist with equipment. They had individual pre-made western omlettes, crockpot oatmeal with all the toppings you could want, and make-your-own Belgian waffles. Lots of cold cereal, fruit, yogurt and milk. A nice selection of breads and a toaster. A good, solid, standard breakfast set up. No need to go out for breakfast. Parking The parking lot is large and well lit. Restaurants/Bar/Room Service No room service or restaurant. GPS/Cell Phone/Internet My gps worked fine getting around the entire area. Cell phone service was perfect everywhere in the hotel. Did not use the internet while at the hotel. They do have a laptop for use and a printer, but the computer is super super slow. You will have a birthday getting to your airline website for your boarding pass to print out. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if in the area. read more

This is such a quaint little place in the heart of Melbourne and I'm so happy I stumbled upon it (thanks to Google maps via blackberry) as a result of an unpredicted change of plans. Instead of heading to Fort Lauderdale, as was the schedule, I had to make a little pit stop here and despite the tumultuous week, staying here at the Hampton feels oddly, like home. The ladies that work here are so incredibly nice. I don't think they're booming with business currently due to tropical storm Fay, so they invited me for some lasagna. Although I had other more eloquent dinner plans at the Olive Garden, i returned to freshly brewed coffee (three different strengths) as well as some kick ass hot off the oven chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. So very "mom-like". The rooms are clean; there is air conditioning; flat screen TV; microwave and refrigerator; and....free wireless internet. This is definitely a hotel that caters to business travelers (awesome for me) with the added value of being run by a local family which equals pure love, comfort and happiness. If I am ever stuck in Melbourne again, hands down I will stay here. Unless there is a drastic turn of events between now and tomorrow morning, my review remains a shining five stars. read more

I'm elated in the fact that I finally was able to stop for the night at this exit; I've been meaning to for awhile but my business plans never make it geographically possible. This Hampton is tucked back far away from I-95, so noise isn't an issue. It is a smaller Hampton with only 3 floors, but some say good things come in small packages. The lobby was very clean, and the staff member who greeted me was very positive and accommodating. A brilliant treat is that as a Diamond or Gold member, they give out complimentary bottles of FIJI waters (2) when you arrive instead of generic bottles. There is only one elevator, though it is efficient. The hall leading to my room was semi-fresh; the carpet is in need of cleaning. As for my room, it was very up to date as for Hampton standards. The bed linens were plush, the carpet was clean, the AC was cool, and the room was not stuffy. As for the bathroom, it was neat and tidy. Check this out...they put mints on the bed! Very cool and traditional. Check out is always easy; I use my Hilton app. The ONLY lackluster amenity was the desk that I ACTUALLY use for work emails, etc. The light was burned out but I have way too much of a "nice guy syndrome" to complain! I wish I had noticed that the reviews on this hotel were from 2008 and 20I2. I am very disappointed with this Hampton Inn. The hotel needs to be updated. Had a very poor night's sleep and unfortunately, I am booked here for two more days for which they promptly charged my credit card for the full stay prior to my arrival. There are too many nice hotels in the area to stay at a place like this. read more
