I brought my dog along and the hotel is dog friendly with a few attached fee . But he loved it too , he was very comfortable. If you are ever in the area or happen to pass through . Stop at Hyatt place you won't regret it .

Everything was clean, functioning, and just nice. I guess I'm not used to a bare minimum extended stay type hotel, so I wasn't sure what to expect. First of, no soap. You need to buy or bring your own. Didn't think much of it, so that was fine. The rooms have a stove top and full fridge, so you'd think there'd be some utensils, cups, plates.... guess again.... nothing. But I did have a chopping board. Eneded up buying cooking pans, utensils, knifes, plates, cups all to just leave it there at the hotel. Great. Overall, it served its purpose as a nice extended stay place. It was very secure, which was nice, plus a decent location. The laundry center only takes quarters and the front desk didn't have enough change to cover the cost of a wash and dry cycle so that was an adventure to find quarters. Other than that, the ladies at the front desk were very nice and super helpful with recommendations. It would be nice to know before booking that this hotel doesn't offer any sort of cookware or basic essentials. I would stay at this brand again now having some experience.

The room was spacious but the floor was dirty with crumbs all over the place. Self parking is $20 for overnight. Some nice perks include free beer and wine every day at 5:30 pm and complimentary breakfast in the morning. We didn't get a chance to try their breakfast since we had to get up early to drive to Kennedy space center (which is about an hour away from the hotel) but we were able to get some beer and wine which was refreshing. The hotel has a nice swimming pool that overlooks the beach. Our son loved the pool so much that he didn't want to get out when it was time for dinner. We did try their restaurant, Ebb & Flow, for dinner to celebrate an early birthday dinner for my husband. The food was delicious but the service was really slow. Although it wasn't the staff's fault because they appeared to be very short staffed that night but it took awhile for someone to clean the table from a previous customer. Then we waited for almost 20 min just to get menus. I was able to get the manager to give us menus and she immediately placed our 4 year old's meal early so that we can look at the rest of the menu. The food came out even slower to where we had to ask the manager to put the food in to-go containers since our son was falling asleep at the table since it was almost 9 pm. The manager was very nice and apologetic. She even comped our drinks and appetizers. That was very nice of her. The hotel staff here are very friendly and hospitable. We were able to switch our check out time last minute since we're elite members from 11 am to 2 pm. We were running behind from coming back from Kennedy Space Center on the day of check out so it was nice of the staff at the front desk to be flexible for us. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and it was a nice getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday. We will be back!

The hotel lobby smells amazing. Lamp in the room has a button on the floor that you can step on to turn it on or off. Very convenient. Evening tea in the lobby. Pots of detox, unwind, and relax blends of tea. Strong water pressure in the shower. The bathroom has a fan directly over the toilet but there's no way to turn it off. It runs 24/7. Shower head offers different types of settings, each of which are good for a great shower experience. Lots of lights in the room. Small refrigerator (larger than a mini fridge) and microwave in the room. There's a door sweep at the bottom of the room door which not only filters out residual light from the hallway but also makes it harder for someone to slide something under the door and try to break into the room. The "Do Not Disturb" sign is a magnet, but it is a bit confusing where it's supposed to go. I tried to stick it to the little piece of metal above the outside door handle, but apparently there is a metal panel outside the door directly underneath the room number Unfortunately it blends too well into the wall and missed it. However, I think it was housekeeping who was kind enough to put it in the right place for me. Pretty good number of outlets spread out across the room. Breakfast is pretty good. They describe it as continental, but I would describe it as a step above that. There's a pancake bar with a variety of toppings including strawberries, bananas, and Nutella. There's also a yogurt bar with chobani yogurt, granola, fresh fruit and slivered almonds. There's also offerings such as toast, English muffins, danishes, mini spinach frittata bites, mini muffins, bananas, oranges and apples. They also offer apple juice orange juice and fruit infused water as well as coffee and tea. They also have almond milk available for the coffee and tea which I appreciate. Even though my room was directly in front of the elevator it was a decently quiet stay. The only disturbance was some random banging against the wall from one of the neighboring rooms at various points during my last night. CONS: The elevator is a little bit confusing, even with the signage. To get to your floor you have to click the button that has your floor number plus the letter R (e.g., 5R, 6R). If you push the button that only has the number, you will not be able to get to your floor. Minimal counter space in the bathroom. No handheld wand to rinse off in the shower. Nowhere to hang hand towel at the sink. No bath mat. The hallways are musty and could benefit from some of that fragrance they use in the lobby. The TV turns off after about an hour. Not great for someone who likes to sleep with the TV on. Had to wake up every hour to turn it back on because I need background noise to sleep. It would be great if there was some way to disable the sleep timer. While I appreciate the outdoor shower that allows guests to rinse the sand off when coming back from the beach, they turn it off before 6:00 p.m. At very least it should be turned off at sunset because some of us want to soak up as much sun as possible. At the valet stand, there should be a sign informing guests that they have temporarily stepped away and when they will return so we are not waiting around wondering where they are.

Carpet in hotel rooms is absolutely disgusting, and I will always appreciate a hotel that chooses hard flooring instead. Our room was very spacious, including the bathroom, and everything felt clean and well-maintained. The room was also nice and quiet, which is always a huge plus when you're trying to relax and enjoy a weekend getaway. One of the highlights of this hotel is the rooftop restaurant. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the views are fantastic! There are plenty of seating options, including covered areas for shade and open areas where you can enjoy the sunshine. They have chairs and couches, making it a great place to hang out and unwind. We even had live music on Sunday morning during brunch, which made the experience that much better. They also offer indoor seating with a full bar, so there's something for everyone regardless of the weather. The hotel is beautiful, well-kept, and dog-friendly. Just keep in mind that there is a pet fee unless your dog qualifies as a service animal. We appreciated being able to travel with our pup! On the first floor, there's also a little café where I ordered coffee on our first morning. Unfortunately, the coffee was not good at all. In my opinion, I would skip this unless maybe you're getting one of those fancy coffees that have a cup of sugar in it. The staff we encountered were accommodating, and overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Now, let's talk about the one thing that REALLY irritated me: PARKING. Parking is valet-only, which I understand can be expected when you're staying downtown. However, I will NEVER understand why hotels continue charging guests $40-plus per day to park their cars. I'm already paying to stay at your hotel, along with all the associated fees, and now I have to pay an additional fortune just to park my own vehicle? Make it make sense! These parking fees feel excessive, and honestly, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when everything else about the stay was so enjoyable. Stop being greedy. We're already tipping the valet guy, you make millions a year give us a break. My recommendation: Stay here for the comfortable rooms, rooftop dining, and downtown location, but be prepared for the additional parking expense. Between the valet-only setup and the $40-plus daily charge, that was easily my biggest complaint. It's a shame that such a lovely hotel experience has to come with a parking bill that feels so excessive! This is typical these days. I remember when it was first a resort fee that they started adding now it's a parking fee.

I would consider this an adult only hotel as there isn't anything for kids to do. No pool or recreational area so because I knew this prior, we made this a mommy and daddy only stay. Rooms were quaint and beautifully decorated and I loved that there was a foxtail coffee and nice seating area in the lobby. We of course dined at the restaurant for dinner and also enjoyed having casual drinks at the bar after a day at the beach. For visitors : there is valet parking available or self parking on the second level. Valet service is excellent! The beach is not walking distance as it's a cross the waterway but there are local shops and bars nearby that you can easily walk too from the hotel. As much as I want to give it 4-5 stars I cannot as there isn't much to do at this hotel and I'm a beach lover so I would prefer to stay on the beach. But I'm glad I was able to check it off my list. We will be back to dine at the rooftop restaurant as it is now one of our favorites !

The lobby is extremely spacious with many seating areas. The restaurant is located in the back area. The coffee station is located across from the restaurant/bar, along side the hydration station. There are hydration stations located on the 1st and 5th floor. I think there might be a hydration station located on the third floor as well. The pool is located in the back of the building. There's also a separate seating area across from the pool. The area is like a lanai or extended porch seating with a fire pit and an unattended bar. I stayed in room 221 on the second floor. The room was nicely decorated in neutral colors. The room included a kitchenette with a dishwasher, refrigerator, two burners, a microwave, paper towels, dishwashing soap and a sponge, and all utensils and cooking wares. On the kitchen counter were two small water bottles, coffee, and teas. Across from the kitchenette is a spacious bathroom with shower tiled in the herringbone pattern. The floors are laminated wood. The bed is a king bed coupled with four pillows. The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were not very comfortable. The room did have a smell that felt unpleasant to me, but after being in the room, I wasn't bothered by the smell. The water pressure was good. The television worked perfectly. There's laundry rooms located on floors 3 and 5. I used the washing machine and dryer in the 5th floor, and they worked great. I purchased a single load detergent for $2. Overall, I would stay here again. I liked the convenience, I liked the recognition for being a loyal member, I liked the room and how fresh and clean everything looked after three years. FYI: cruise transportation is available at about $11 per person until about 12:30. For those who stream videos, the apps on the television worked as well. Washing machine and dryer costs $2 each.
