Breakfast was "meh"! The Marriott property that I have found to have an OUTSTANDING breakfast is the Element!!

Celebrating my FIFTY-FIFTH birthday and this is the prequel!! Y'all ALREADY KNOW, if I experienced it, I'm gonna run right on over here and share my experience with YOU! So far I can only tell you that the hotel is beautiful and clean and the staff are most welcoming!! After a long day of travel from our nations capital to Orlando (my mom travelled from the Windy City and met us), we were BEAT! We are cruising out of Port Canaveral on Monday but I wanted a couple of decompression days before hand! NEVERRRR fly in for a cruise the day of! I went back and forth and the back and forth some MORE about where we should stay! I am a Bonvoy member so I already knew that it would be a Marriott property!! MCO airport is a pretty serious drive to Port Canaveral (about an hour) so I had some decisions to make!! Well, first there's Orlando! I don't know. Just soooooo many kiddos with Disney, Universal, Sea World and Epcot being RIGHT THERE and this bright the last week of summer break for them! No thank you! Then there is Cape Canaveral/ Cocoa beach where we are sailing from. I am an "I Dream of Jeannie" Fanatic so nostalgia alone could have won me over. BUT is pretty much all beach and super expensive for that very reason! I was going to bite the bullet for this one (due to the location) but the Cape Canaveral Marriott property didn't have breakfast! I have learned that Marriott breakfast provides the exact sustenance that you need for vacationing and is a MUST HAVE! I found this gem at the end of my search and I am SO HAPPY that I did!! Kyle -amazing - called almost immediately after booking ; as he saw that one of my "guest requests " is an accessible room, (my mother needs this as tubs are a chore to get in and out of) to let me know that all of the accessible rooms were sold out. Ok. I will have to make it work!! He offered me a lower floor which works out quite nicely!! This hotel location is only 23 minutes to the cruise port and is located in a great spot. The property is part of an AMAZING town center (hence the name)!! If there is ANYTHING you need, you will definitely find it here from Walmart to Lululemon and an AMC theater!! Jade - amazing - greeted us (about 10pm) and our drained brains and bodies were relieved by her calming energy! She got us checked in and we were in our rooms with 3-5 minutes!! Jade was relived by Alexis - amazing ;the overnight concierge!! All that to say that so far I've only SLEPT here (Marriott beds are always rejuvenating to me) and so far so great! Breakfast was meh but filling!! I will follow up with another review AFTER my stay! Just wanted y'all to know that if this is a property that you are on the fence, jump of that fence and chose them!

Five stars without hesitation * * * * * This hotel was highly recommended by my cruise forum friend, and I'm very grateful! We were staying two nights pre-cruise in Orlando, and preferred a newer hotel that was clean, comfortable and centrally located. While our original plan was to stay closer to the cruise port, I am so glad we decided to stay here. Due to a delayed flight, we got off to a very late start. After spending the day in Orlando, we arrived at the hotel around 9 pm. We were exhausted and quite frazzled. Jarrod was on duty, and he was super friendly and welcoming. We had gotten lost, and he even drew up a map, explaining the area, and gave us tips on how to locate the hotel for the next day. He also suggested some excellent places to eat (and to avoid)! What a truly amazing guy! Compared to the airport, Cocoa Beach and cruise port areas, I felt Melbourne was more of an upscale suburb. It was quiet, and we felt comfortable walking around late at night. There was an open fire pit in the courtyard with a patio bar that was such a nice touch. If it were not so late, we would have loved to sit around with a drink. We walked across the street to grab a bite to eat and came back to unwind. There are many restaurants, a small plaza and some shopping options in the area. Compared to another Marriott brand hotel where we had a disappointing stay, our room location was super quiet. The lovely flowers, chocolates and card from management were such an amazing gesture! The room was also spotless! I liked the color scheme and modern décor, and thought the placement of the shower controls was brilliant. Normally located below the showerhead, they were off to the side, which makes perfect sense. We also use tea tree oil products at home, so I loved the toiletries. We didn't have time to try their breakfast, but the coffee to go was fresh and hot. The dining area, exercise room, and all other common areas were very well maintained and super clean! You can easily see that management places a great deal of pride in this hotel! We regretted checking out since our stay was truly enjoyable. Thank you so much to the staff and management for a memorable start to our vacation!

Excellent stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful, esp., Kyle and Jenny at the front desk. Loved the location. Beautiful spot close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was ok, but not bad for Fairfield Inn.

Its brand new...and quickly booked! Make your reservations early! Free breakfast, pool and late night bar available. Also, enjoy conversations and relaxing time by the outdoor fire pit! For this kind of hotel stay...it is simple, clean rooms, hot shower and comes with all the necessary basics. The location is really good, just across the street from The Avenue, (walking distance) for food and activities. Great for kids and family! *accessible*

Free breakfast (really yummy), free wifi, free parking. All suites, and consistent style from one property to the next which is great because I like knowing I will sleep in a good bed at a hotel! The beds are super comfortable. They provide tea and a microwave for hot water, which can prove very important when you need your chamomile at night after a stressful day. The best part of this Residence Inn were the staff. From the front desk wonderful Shana, who welcomed us with a smile after a 4 hour drive in traffic, to the friendly ladies working to clean the rooms, to Ana, letting me know the best parts of breakfast service and providing me with fresh wonderful coffee. Shana at front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. She was very kind to my parents, making sure my dad knew where to get his espresso in the morning and she deserves a shout out for being so professional and continuing to make Marriott properties look good. Personally, I plan on coming back and staying here again and at other Residence Inn properties. They really do feel like a home away from home. One with a very comfortable bed.

The breakfast station and dining room area were clean and organized. A staff member was present and ensured the food and beverages were plentiful and the stations were clean. There were ample parking in front and around the building.

Specifically for "The Bistro"…read more Apologies for the lengthy post in advance. We checked in today and noticed that The Bistro was listed as being open until 10:00 PM. Around 8:40 PM, I went downstairs to ask about laundry services and dinner options. I want to note that the front desk staff was excellent -- very kind, professional, and informative. Unfortunately, my experience at The Bistro was very different. When I approached the bar area to place a to-go order for my room, the bartender, Nikkii, responded by saying, "I guess, but people don't normally do dinner this late," while giving me a very uncomfortable look. Considering the restaurant was still open for another hour and a half, I found that comment inappropriate and unprofessional. I then asked if the restaurant's hours had changed from the posted 10:00 PM closing time, but instead of clarifying, she simply stated that I could not order soup because it is prepped in the morning. While I completely understand certain menu limitations later in the evening, the overall interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. As someone who also works in the service industry as a bartender, I understand that late-night orders can sometimes be frustrating, but it is still important to treat guests with courtesy and professionalism during operating hours. After placing my order, I realized that Nikkii herself would be preparing the food, which honestly made me uncomfortable given the attitude displayed throughout the interaction. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the front desk staff set a wonderful tone for the stay, and it was disappointing for the dining experience to feel so unnecessarily negative. A little more patience and kindness toward guests would go a long way.

The lovely Marie who was so engaging and helpful with a can do attitude is no longer there. The current staff never welcomed us or even made a weak attempt to make conversation with us. No smiling, just acted like they were being put upon. I did observe this with other people waiting to check in. No waters were offered and they were always found not at the front desk when we needed something. I will say upon checkout Richard was nice , but we only saw him about 5 minutes, just long enough to check out. The breakfast which used to be quite good was really terrible this time. Even if you got there before they opened, the bacon was either flabby or burnt and that was the best thing offered besides a basic bagel or toast. Sausages cold and do were eggs and potatoes. Not even edible. One bite of each and it was over. The hotel is located close to some good restaurants, so we made it work. That staff was even less friendly and that was not the case on prior visits. The room was nice as always though someone banged hard on our door in the middle of the night. We did not open the door, but think it was just some rowdy teenagers ( what we could see thru the peephole). The rooftop restaurant and bar was closed for an event. Having said all that, we still love the location. Hope the front desk staff receive some customer service training and all will be well. I'm friendly and really get irked when people act like I'm putting them out with a simple question.

Children running around unsupervised late evening thanks to an absent quiet time policy and poor parenting did not enhance my stay either. Not recommended.
