We came here for a bachelorette brunch and it was perfect. The rooftop sits right on the beach, so the entire time we had a gorgeous view overlooking the water, literally the best backdrop for a celebration. The drinks were strong and really good, the food came out fresh and flavorful, and our servers were super attentive without hovering. They made sure our whole group was taken care of the entire time. If you're looking for a beautiful brunch spot with great vibes, great service, and an ocean view that feels unreal, Ocean Seven is the place. Highly recommend for groups, celebrations, or just a relaxing day by the beach.

June 27/2025: Dinner with Lisa/Ed/Olivia/Amanda & Todd. This was very unbusy but nicely designed restaurant. I'm going to jump right into the w food. It was good but the portions were small & costly! I had the empanadas as an appetizer ($19.00). They were good but a small order. My main was the 8oz Filet Mignon ($58.00). It was good but it was al-la-carte! Tasty steak but no sides, no potatoes or anything. For $58.00, it should have been a more complete dinner.

From the moment we arrived at the valet stand everything was just amazing. We had reservations inside but asked about being seated outside and the hostess was very accommodating, even showing us the tables and allowing us to select. A beautiful view of the bay from the terrace and in sight of pier 60 that is all lit up at night. Gabby was a perfect server and quickly arrived with expertly crafted cocktails. We began with a seafood tower that was fresh and delicious. The oysters were the stars. Then we moved on to lobster tail and filet for the main course and both were perfectly prepared as ordered. Finished with complimentary key lime pie for the birthday boy. Excellent all around.

What a beautiful restaurant!! We were welcomed by our amazing waitress, Alexa, who took great care of us. We loved the oysters and empanadas for starters, and the grouper and lobster tail were amazing. We also really enjoyed the soups.

My boyfriend took me here for Valentine's Day because he knows how much I love the beach and sunset--such a sweet idea! Parking was easy since we did valet, but if you don't... good luck. They're doing renovations on the first floor (I'm assuming from the hurricane), which is totally understandable, but just a heads-up--it was super loud since it was a Friday night. The restaurant itself is beautiful, sitting on top of a hotel with an amazing view. I really wanted to sit outside, but those tables were reserved. Thankfully, the hostess gave us an indoor spot where we could still see the sunset, which I appreciated! Now, let's talk about the menu... definitely check it before you go. It's really small, and honestly, my boyfriend and I weren't crazy about the options. We went with the Valentine's Day 3-course menu, which was fine, but we left hungry. The portions were ridiculously small--our appetizer came with just three chips to share between two people, and the cheese portion was tiny. Our entrées tasted good, but for the price, it just wasn't worth it. I'm not about to pay $95 for a steak and still leave hungry. The one thing I'll rave about? The drinks. They were fabulous--but again, very expensive. Next time, I'd come back for one drink, enjoy the sunset, and call it a night. I wouldn't get the food again.

Two stars because the sunset really is to die for. It ends there. We went twice and both times were underwhelming. The restaurant is poorly laid out and staffed. The bar is also understaffed resulting in long wait times and inefficiency both times. We also were served old fois gras and after being told it was the last they had, then suddenly a manger turned up and said they found some tucked away in a freezer and we had to wait while they defrosted it These people are not serious. Do better.

The service was phenomenal. I can't recommend Hunter enough. He was attentive, great recommendations, and very charismatic. The food was delicious and sunset view was phenomenal. Again, Hunter, 10/10. Wish you the best. Joshua and Hannah

Sunset views were unparalleled! Service was great! If you want amazing views sit in the bar high tops or the outdoors deck which is pretty limited. Complimentary bubbles at sunset u can't beat it! Food was good not great.

Ocean Seven is a perfect 10! From the rooftop terrace sunset views with complimentary champagne, to the food and the top notch service by our waiter Justino we enjoyed it all. We made a last minute reservation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary here yesterday. We couldn't have made a better choice. Our favs were the coconut shrimp crunch roll, hiatus greens salad, beef empanadas, baked Florida grouper and jerk chicken. For dessert we ordered the Florida upside cake. Delicious! And we also got to try the Flan as a complimentary anniversary dessert. A huge thank you to Justino for his warm, friendly and attentive service and spot on recommendations. This will be our go to restaurant for our annual Clearwater vacation! Tip: make a reservation if you want to sit on the terrace to enjoy the sunset views tableside. Inside seating is also available. And don't forget to request Justino!

Very cozy and friendly restaurant. Snack with a great view and fantastic food, sometimes risky creations with a good outcome... lobster bisque; fantastic .. recommended!

My city view from the table. My bf is facing the ocean, with a nice view of the sunset. Can you see the rainbow!?

Yo ho! Oysters were fresh, layout vibes were trendy, and the rooftop view during sunset just hit differently. Our server Cole was adorable and extremely attentive. They give out a complimentary glass of rose to toast the sunset. We even got a desert on the house and I am not even sure why (lol def not complaining). Great place to take a visiting guest or to go on a date, like us! The hotel in general was lovely, as well. Valet parking available. 10/10

The brussel sprouts appetizer is HUGE. It was double the size I have received at other places, so took some back to the hotel for leftovers. They also came with a tasty dipping sauce that was unique as well. The Caesar salad was neutral; no strong flavor yet not distasteful. No anchovies taste either. I could take it or leave it. The filet steak was tender served over some mashed potatoes and thick asparagus wrapped in salty, yummy bacon. The smoky old fashioned and expresso martini (with Baileys added extra!) drinks were tasty. Make a reservation online and Uber/Lyft if you are close as it's easy in and out!

We ended up splitting the seafood pasta dish, and it was more than either of us could eat, even after splitting it. Service was good for dinner. Martini was good, but the blue cheese stuffed olives were prepackaged from a jar. Breakfast blew us away. Every dish we had was great. I don't think you can go wrong. Breakfast pizza was surprisingly great and enough for two people to split. Service at breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was always flowing and the servers were always smiling. The atmosphere and ambience are OK. I don't love the vibe, as it felt like a dated dining room experience. But Food was still great. If you are staying at the Opal Sands, the entire complex has amazing food and you don't even have to leave. Huge benefit to staying there.

The bar is located on the third floor and we took the elevator to get up there. The atmosphere is an open outdoor bar with tiki themed decor and a DJ. The music was super loud which was not appealing to us but we found a secluded table that was away from the noise. The views from the rooftop are spectacular even if it was way too loud. We ordered one round of drinks and all of them were delicious! I ordered the buttery chi chi which was not super strong which was perfect for me. My partners ordered stronger drinks and both were delicious. The ratings on their menu are definitely accurate for what you can expect from a liquor forward perspective. The bar was slammed so it took a little bit to get our drinks but everyone was very nice. We didn't order any food but would probably return for drinks!
