Hands down 10/10 for Ocean Prime!! Came here for my birthday dinner and must say I was impressed and made a great decision. Atmosphere was very intimate with dim lighting. The perfect environment for girl din, date night and anything else that gives you a great reason to treat yourself. ***They do validate parking, but once you exceed the 3 hr mark the QR code will not work. When making a reservation for this place, I assumed it would be hard to get in considering how new it is. But to my surprise, no issue at all with making a reservation. I had a party of 8 and gratuity was included in your check. Unsure of the number of guests before they include gratuity. Either way, tip your service providers. Daniel was our server along with Derek. We had more interactions with Daniel more who was phenomenal. He was extremely attentive. Honestly, every individual who walked past or approached the table was willing to assist in keeping the table clear, clean, and inquired if we needed anything. Wait staff get a 10/10 as well. Phenomenal all around. We ordered lobster linguini, bread basket, caviar deviled eggs, calamari, half shell east coast oysters, Piedmontese steak med rare Oscar style, hamburger, lobster Mac and cheese, teriyaki salmon, Brussel sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, bacon creamed spinach, teriyaki salmon, and Caesar salads. Out of everything the only complaints was that the lobster seemed to have been cooked a little longer than expected due to how rubbery it was. And the caviar deviled eggs didn't have much flavor in the filling. Very smooth consistency but not your typical deviled egg. The truffle and caviar topping gave it a little burst of flavor. Other than that, I highly recommend ALL the above. As far as drinks, the Berries and Bubbles was a table favorite. We also ordered the oil washed dirty martini and black orchid; these were equally just as good. 10/10 for libations!! Daniel did great explaining the martini to us and the process behind it. The man knows his stuff! ** We did have a little mishap with avocado chunks ending up on a Caesar salad that wasn't asked for. Along with mushrooms on the teriyaki salmon that was asked to be removed when ordering. These mistakes were corrected immediately. Thankfully, these weren't food allergies. Ocean Prime just opened in Nashville. I've gone to one in a different city but was excited mom wanted to come here for Mother's Day! It's located in Nashville Yards. If you park in the East Garage parking, you can get your parking validated for a discounted price. Now to the food! We started with the ocean roll which was really fresh and good. I ordered the house salad which the apple, walnuts and vinaigrette made it very flavorful. When our meal came the manager told me that she was taking my linguine back because it wasn't up to par. I appreciated her taking that initiative before ever serving it to me. Once it came, it was sooo good however I had eaten too much to truly dive in so I got it packed to go. My sister had the seabass which I took a bite of and it was good. Mom ordered the salmon which was bursting with flavor. Next time I want to save room to check out the dessert. All the food was good and our waitress was kind and attentive. I'll definitely be back. This place is great for a date night or dinner with friends. There's always a patio area for nice days. Five golden stars to this newbie in Nashville Yards. We had a faboulus dinner in one of the private rooms with out of town guests and Kelly took such good care of us. Great recommendations and very attentive and kind. Everyone where so happy with both the food and service. We stopped by the bar first and had some delicious cocktails shaken by Miguel, super friendly and fast! The atmosphere was great, noise level just right and the whole place just had a vibe of fun. Went to a private event before they opened. Let me tell you, they didn't disappoint! From the moment we walked in, it was great. The hosts were very pleasant as everyone was else who made contact with us. Very beautiful atmosphere. They have outdoor seating as well. Cambria was our wonderful server and we were very impressed by her. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. To start: We had the bread basket. It had various bread and was served with whipped bread. Delicious!! I also had the "Chop Chop Salad" and it was also delicious. I liked that you had the option of getting a 1/2 portion of any salad or side. I like to try various different sides so this worked out perfectly!!! Cocktail: Reposado Paper Plane. The tequila and St. Germain was added a nice twist on a classic cocktail. I had 2! My sister even ordered one after I bragged about it. Entree: I had the "Gerber's Farm Chicken" and I enjoyed it. I wasn't crazy about the spinach bread salad but that doesn't take away from the overall flavor of the dish. I would definitely order this again. Sides: We had the Parmesan Truffle Fries (loved), Twice Baked Potatoes (I thought it was just ok but we made a modification that I think changed the flavor profile so I'll try again), Chophouse Corn (Loved), and Roasted Brussel Sprouts (just ok to me but my brother loved them) Dessert: Mango Sorbet. First I just want to say what a beautiful restaurant this place is. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the friendliest staffs. Came here for a bday celebration and we was a little early so we went to the bar and had some cocktails. Our bartender was Miguel and he was so personal which I really liked. He asked what our names was ans address us by our name when he made our drinks. Then it was time to be seated to our table. It was a pretty busy nite for a Tues and we had 9 people so it took awhile to get our orders and drinks and food. We was there over 3.5 hrs. The food was great. Started off with some oysters, can't remember which one we went with but they was super small but it was nice and fresh so it was ok I guess. Then got the caviar deviled eggs, it was bland to me. I think they depended on the caviar for the seasoning. Add some paprika and it would of set it off. Then for my main course I got the lambchops cooked medium and it was delicious. For the sides we got mash potatoes and brussel sprouts. Both were good. Overall we had a good experience here. They've only been open about a week so they did good. Walked in an hour before our reservation, and were seated promptly at 9:30. The place was maybe half full and lots of workers, but no one really to help. It took forever to get our food. It took forever to get our drinks. Our waitress was very nice, but not efficient at all. I ordered the king crab legs, which looked like miniature snow crab. It was embarrassing. I should've sent them back, but I don't have it in me. I'm not an ask for a manager guy nor do I want anything for free, I realized they've only been open for a very short time, but for the amount of workers they had in that place there was no excuse for what happened to us this evening on our 20th anniversary dinner Parking was very confusing, I would absolutely never go back to that place. Upon entering with reservations for 6PM we were asked to sit while our table was prepared. We had requested a quiet table b/c of hearing aids. We were seated in a fairly empty back dining room next to a waiters station and facing exit doors. The rest of the room had only about 30 tables of which 8 were in use. After being seated we noticed that there were empty booths all around us. Our guests had not arrived so after feeling like being in time out we asked if we could be seated in a booth adjacent to the table. We were reseated. Our guests arrived. The server arrived. J is from Nashville and romanced the menu to an extreme. We had viewed the menu before arriving and found that Lobster was available....get it Ocean Prime.. 2 of us ordered cocktails-China's 12 on ice and Tanguerey on ice. What arrived was a tiny pour with 2 little ice cubes. On to our meal......The Lobster was at most 5 ounces, tasteless and just a meager meal. I had a Caesar salad, boring!!! This restaurant had a hype that drew me into it. It makes a life long resident want to Never come close to downtown again. It tourist food. Expensive. I wish I had the 270.00 back for the meal for the 2 of us. Instead I just rewarded myself with a pair of Hoka One shoes to quell my irritation of going to a "Want to be.......The Palm used to be before it was taken over by Landrys". Really enjoyed dinner at the bar. Food was fabulous and service was excellent. Emily and Ashton at the bar were excellent - go see them!
