The staff was helpful and told me they'll have new catches available on Friday. I went back Friday after work and there was a lot more items to choose from. The sea urchin was calling out to me so I had to buy two trays since one is never enough. I was hoping to get some cerviche too but it wouldn't be ready for another half hour. I also got the ahi tuna, coho salmon and California halibut. Everything was very fresh and delicious! This is definitely a great spot to get fresh seafood, especially if you don't want to wait until the Saturday market.

Tonight, I bought a pound and a half of Bluefin Tuna and cut into shashimi sized pieces, it's gloriously tasty and not fishy. The guy even gave me a lemon for my shashimi, what a neighborhood market. I'd been doing Instacart orders from them but first time physically inside this weekend to check them out. The inside was super super clean. Major points there! In the time I was shopping around they had plenty of staff working, floors being mopped and all of the aisles were well organized and pretty. This market is a pretty standard Asian goods focused grocery store. I found about 85% of what I wanted here. I wish they had a premium sushi section and some more Hawaiian imported goods (aside from juices and sauces) but otherwise I was able to find everything I was looking for. Their hot bar is also solid. A wide selection of items to pick and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Actually throughout the whole store the prices are good compared to other grocery stores right now. I had a full bag of items for $50, good luck elsewhere getting those kinds of prices. I didn't have too much of an interaction with the staff while there, but again, lots of people working and keeping this spot in tip top shape. Also the woman working the register who checked me out was very nice. A great supermarket and I'll definitely be back more often now since checking them out.

They were super helpful and helped us process it for free as well. Scaled, chopped, and cleaned the whole fish. We also got our favorite sweet spotted shrimp and ate it steamed and fresh. With the heads, we fried them and also made miso soup. Super tasty. For the halibut, make a simple mango chutney to pair with the grilled fish. You can also make fish tacos! Make sure to call them before hand to place large orders like this. Sometimes, it depends on what they catch each week so call ahead of time to find out what they caught.
