Walking in on a warm autumnal October at noon, I was able to easily park at this facility. I came…read more20 minutes earlier than my appointment as I anticipated paperwork. Arriving all the way from Orange County, I thought I would give the imaging centers in Ventura County a try The office was extremely easy to find being in suite 120 at the intersection of the hallways, basically the center of the building. As I opened the doors, the interior seem spacious with inviting interior decorations. I am typing this review as I sit in the waiting room. The paperwork for me took about 5 minutes to finish as it was rather straight forward. The staff seem kind when they knew immediately who I was even as I was a new patient based on my appointment time. The ultrasound technician was extremely nice and courteous, having over 15 years of experience. The ultrasound experience was efficient as can be as I was comfortable, yet he was able to take a lot of pictures both ventrally and laterally with his ultrasound wand, with the right amount of pressure without it hurting. The ultrasound gel was warm and much appreciated it. The small talk was brief and enjoyable as I remained pretty much quiet throughout the entire procedure except holding breath when he says so. Afterwards, I returned to the office where I was able to reschedule my upcoming chest xray appointment with Stephanie. She had excellent customer service and was very polite. She even let me prefill a form so I don't have to fill it on the day of. Overall, I got my results back the next day. Instantaneously. I don't know about the other reviews on here but this has been the most pleasant experience I've come across in imagining. Coming all the way from Orange County. I look forward to my next appointment! Update: Amber, the x-ray technician for my chest x-ray was extremely skilled. She helped me remove my necklace, was very courteous, polite, positive, and radiant as she took my x-ray in an efficient manner. It literally took 5 minutes. The front office staff was also in the festive spirit with Halloween attire. In conclusion, this diagnostic office is probably the best office I have ever visited in my life! (And I've been to a lot of medical offices as an EMT).

Scheduling…read moreand customer service was fine on the phone and they were nice in person however I came and brought my father, this is where 3 stars is. The front check ins consist of 2 small sections, 1 has 2 front ladies with computers next to each other where you check in and stand up. The other small section to the right has another person with a computer and for someone to sit down if needed. However the section with 2 people you are literally standing next to another patient, me and my father were checking him in standing next to another patient as she was checking in. I attached a photo for reference. During check in, they did state they would ask a few questions, I did not think too much of it till they started asking him about his medical condition, past medical treatments, his current medications and history OUTLOUD. I got uncomfortable after a while and asked to complete it myself, why are we speaking this out loud? Is this not against HIPPA? They give patients registration forms to sign with a clip board and have them sit down... why not let your patients complete the medical questionnaire?! Why should patient standing next to us hear his current diagnosis, medication and current and past treatments especially if its super sensitive to him. My father and I noticed that after he mentioned specific words regarding his personal life, the patient to our right kept looking over. Again the answers themselves were sensitive and I don't feel my father got the privacy he deserved. After we left my father was really not happy with that and neither was I. He did NOT feel his information was private despite how many people are in the room or not, why does he have to say it outloud? If management is reading this, as a worker in the healthcare field myself... I would suggest patients answering that themselves on paper as this info is private. No matter if people stand next to each other at check in, we can hear everything here in the waiting room chairs. Other than this, I will say this place is very clean and nice and well kept.

I entered into an online chat with someone last Thursday or Friday explaining the technical glitch. That person said they report it to the appropriate party. This morning I went through the same process and selected "thighs" since there was still no "hip" selection option. I made an appointment for 11:25. Got a text saying to be there 20 minutes early. Arrived at 10:50. Explained all of the above to the person behind the counter. She said she'd fix the appointment to reflect "hips". I asked that she report technical glitch, and she said there was nothing she could do about it. Ok.... How about reporting the issue to someone that could fix it? Next she tells me that I'll probably need to wait 1-1.5 hours because they just took someone back that required extensive X-rays on most body parts. I had an "appointment" at 11:25 and they accept someone ahead of my appointment that will require me to wait 1-1.5 hours. She said that normally they just take walk-in appointments. Ok. But I had an appointment at 11:25 as confirmed via text and I was requested to arrive 20 minutes early. Which I did. I guess an appointment means nothing. What a joke. Maybe Rolling Oaks should switch to a similar appointment service as employed by Quest. They take walk ins and appointments and juggle them both perfectly.

I waited over an hour and a half to see the doctor, and when I was finally seen, my appointment took place in a casting room rather than what I would consider a normal exam room. After waiting that long, I expected a thorough appointment and some meaningful direction regarding my ongoing workers' compensation injury. Instead, I felt completely dismissed. Dr. Deitel repeatedly asked me what I wanted to do, even after I explained that I am not the medical professional and that I was there because I wanted help getting better. I was looking to my physician to evaluate my condition, explain my options, and guide my treatment. I left feeling like there was very little interest in actually helping me or addressing my ongoing symptoms. The interaction felt unprofessional and dismissive, and I walked out without confidence that my injury was being appropriately managed. Dealing with an injury and the workers' compensation system is difficult enough. Waiting more than 90 minutes only to leave an appointment feeling like I was expected to figure out my own medical treatment was incredibly frustrating. After this experience, I have requested an immediate transfer of my care to another provider and will not be returning to Dr. Deitel.

But in this case, the "experts" are there for you to visit. Right? Wrong! This group (Ventura Orthopedics) of INCOMPETENT IMBECILES has got to be The Stupidest bunch of people out there, dealing w/ patients today! Unbelievable incompetence! After the agony of suffering tearing EVERYTIHNG POSSIBLE in my knee, I made the mistake of letting Community Memorial Healthcare (Ugh, the worst....) REFER me to a Dr. Mark Ghilarducci. (I lost count whatever JOKE this guy is in this story...), He comes in, does his perfunctory little routine, ending w/ "you're going to require a Full Reconstruction of the Right Knee....and we'll get you started on PT, and you'll f/u w/ me in a month or two!" My wife and I leave, thinking this guy's got it goin' on, and maybe we can stick w/ these guys? Nope. After scheduling two months worth of PT, the very next day one of their staff calls telling me that they no longer accept my insurance! Typical. America the "GRATE" sucks too. So I have to go back to my PCP. (A child that they gave a certificate to, but has to get an "okay" from anybody else before doing ANYTHING at all!). I have to wait for them to refer me to somebody else. It's all a waiting game. By the time I get another referral to another QUACK, and this idiot is worse than the first one... I could have driven to Tj and back and gotten healed already!!!!! Then V.O. Calls me back, telling me that the clinic doesn't accept my insurance, but Dr. G does, and he would like to continue w/ my treatment. Great. We make an appointment. We keep the appointment . Only to be told, by the Dr. himself, that they are no longer going to see/treat me, due to the insurance mess! Those of you who are dumb enough to even call this place, don't say you weren't warned. Ventura Orthopedics places PROFIT over people daily.

The only good thing about my entire experience, was that the tech who performed the MRI was very professional/caring. I was scheduled to have surgery and it was stated on my request that the results were needed prior to this and the date. My Dr. felt that 3 weeks prior to surgery was plenty of time. When 2 weeks went by with no results, I began the first of 3 requests for someone to get back to me regarding an issue with logging into the Portal and obtaining the results. I have had an account with Radnet for approximately 8 years and it was updated. NO ONE ever got back to me. I did receive a canned email response that told me not to submit another request and they would get back to me. After another week, I did submit another request just a few days prior to my surgery, but no one got back to me and my surgery had to move forward without the results. It was upsetting to me and my Dr. I finally received an email message that stated my results had been posted. I try to login to view the results and I receive an error message which states that I need to set up an online account. What? I have an account and I am already logged in. At the top of the page it states "Welcome Laurie." I am finally able to speak with a Supervisor who tells me that it will actually be another 4 days before I am able to view the results online. What? Why send the email about the results if I cannot view them for another 4 days. I added in that I would like to hear from someone about the problems with logging in and I also want to know why it took nearly ONE MONTH for my MRI to be read. She was not sure how long it would take for someone to get back to me, but she told me that the results SHOULD have been posted within 5-7 business days. Well that certainly didn't happen. Both my Dr. and I tried to obtain my results. I usually have everything done at UCLA or USC, but a new Dr. thought that this would save me a drive to have the test performed at a facility close to home. This was a huge mistake. I did not receive a single response to my online requests. I filled out pages of information online prior to my appt and there was more to do when I arrived. I will reach out to the BBB and the Medical Board for the State of CA to lodge a complaint.
