NEVER go here to do laundry, even if you live on the same block like I do…read more We've had multiple issues here over the years, but, I've never been pissed off enough to write a review about ... until tonight. So, let's get into it. I went here tonight at 8 PM to do one quick load before they closed at 10 PM. I figured 30-45 minutes to wash, 30-45 minutes to dry, even if I spent another 30 there folding, I'd still be out of there by the time they closed at 10 PM. When I walked in, the ladies yelled at me, "We're closed!" It's 8 PM. I said, "I thought you all closed at 10 PM?" to which one of the ladies said, "We're closed!" I said, "What time do you close?" and she said, "10 PM." I said, "It's 8 o'clock. I'll be done and out the door by 10." She said, "Last wash was at 7:30." If that's true, you need to post that somewhere. If you say EVERYWHERE that you close at 10 PM, close at 10 PM. I come here all the time because I live so close. Never again. Before this happened, Sudzy was already the WORST laundromat in a 10 block radius, now, let's get into why. You'd think that such a HUGE place with SO MANY washers and dryers would have an abundance of availability, even on a busy day. Haha ... no. At any given day of the week, roughly HALF of the washers and dryers are out of order. To make that situation even worse, a fair amount of times, the broken machines aren't even labeled as broken. Do you know how painful it is to put ALL of your clothes into a washing machine, put all of your detergent and such inside of the machine, and then when you go to pay and start the cycle ... NOPE! So, it's pretty pointless to have such a huge space with so many machines if half of them don't work. Literally, if you walk in there right now (as I'm writing this, they're still open for another hour and a half) there are signs on seriously HALF of the washers and dryers right now. And, if the washing part of your day wasn't a horrible enough experience, let's get into the drying part. The lint filters in this place are NEVER cleaned out. If I had to place money on it, I'd say that they are MAYBE cleaned out once a day at the end of the night and never again. What brings me to this conclusion you might ask? Because my clothes are NEVER above Luke warm when I take them out, even on the highest temperature. AND, the drying cycle takes twice as long as any other laundromat in the neighborhood. So, you're just pouring money into these dryers to get your clothes dry for no reason other than laziness and unprofessionalism. For the price and the experience, you're MUCH better off going American Laundromat or Sunny Day Laundromat (both on Danforth). And, like I said, I live on the block. Do I want to walk FURTHER to another laundromat? Absolutely not. But, it's worth it to save the money and headaches.

And on more than one occasion, simple food stains were left on school uniforms, and whites smelled like bleach but still didn't look properly cleaned. Bugs (including bed bugs crawling) floor so torn up you fall thru, dirty and nothing works. Adriana's is always crowded no matter what time or day I go, but I've never had a bad experience. I hate doing laundry and we always have a lot to do, but this makes our experience a little less painful until be get a place of our own with washer/dryer included!!
