Started coming here when I moved back the neighborhood last summer, and have been pleased. It is…read moresmall, but well kept. There aren't many folding/prep tables, but I've never gone without one... even during peak hours. The machines work, and they have small containers for the quarters from the change machines. The other customers are generally polite, and keep to themselves- which is more than I can say for the competition down the street. I've not used the other services comprehensively yet, though today I dropped off an Ikea bag full of blankets for the wash 'n fold service. I was impressed that it will only cost $9, and will report back regarding the quality. The staff is generally very nice. I had an encounter once with an employee who gave me a hard time about the last wash time and didn't believe me when I responded that I didn't intend to use the dryers. (I air dry my delicates.) Usually they're really sweet though, and the woman who took my blankets today was an absolute joy.

I received my dry cleaned jacket back with damage to it. When I calmly asked about it, they pointed…read moreto a sign (which is behind your back when at the counter btw) that they are not responsible for any damage that is caused during their process. Both the husband and wife who run the place teamed up on me mentioning things like "your jacket was not new" "customers are irresponsible and don't read the labels on their clothes" and offered no apology at all. I do understand that things are cheaply made nowadays and that puts dry cleaners in a bad position at times, but a more professional way to handle customers would be to refuse to provide service to them if they felt the clothes could become damaged, or rovide a warning. In my case it was a painted metal zipper that chipped as if it had been placed in the washer/dryer. A metal zipper is not an uncommon item, it is something you see everyday... I thought the reason we bring our clothes to professionals, is because we trust they know more about the process than we do, and will treat our clothing and needs with respect... But the wat I was spoken to made me feel like that expectation was completely crazy.
