Tried the all you can eat option at Ocean Crab where I got snow crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, clams, mussels, wings, calamari, fried oysters, hush puppies, and crab bites. Service was fast and seafood was fresh. The various apps they offered were good to switch up what you're eating, but the snow crab and shrimp were my personal favorites.
Relatively free and big spot! Good place for seafood boil cravings, but there could be more flavour for some items in the AYCE options in my opinion. Sausages were okay. The fried appetizers we got were normal but still satisfying. Spicy sauce really wasn't that spicy to me. The ramen was insanely salty the last two rounds unfortunately. Corn and calms were good for me. Service was pretty attentive which i appreciated!
All you can eat seafood boil. The snow crabs, blue crab, clams, and crawfish were so fresh! And it kept coming! You also get sides. Casual place but was packed.
First time trying sea food boil, and it was good! We selected the AYCE seafood boil and ordered a few trays until we were full. The snow crab legs, blue crab, shrimp and green mussels all tasted fresh and the garlic butter, cajun, and lemon pepper medium sauces made the seafood taste extra rich and brought out the natural sweetness. The sausage, corn, and potatoes were flavorful and cooked well. We also ordered some fries and onion rings on the side, which were average. The main focus was the fresh seafood. Servers were attentive and we received our food quickly. Messy, yummy, and fun experience. Would come again!
Bummer to have to give lower than 5 stars for this fave place. Came at dinner time with a group. Host was great. That's where good service ended. Our server was someone I had not seen before and we have been here a ton of times. It was hard to get her attention. I think she was also the bar server and maybe even a manager. There was never an emptying of the super full buckets and we had 2 buckets on the table. We even spilled a glass of water and had to mention it before she even noticed the piles of napkins on the table and floor. We often had to ask the host to get her attention. So this level of service was just the reason for the 2 stars. Food was delicious as always. This time we got the "hot" level spice and that was SO good. Advice: get this you will love the flavor, full of garlic and just the perfect spice. I learned that a lb of Dungeness and a pound of snow was basically 2 clusters each. Next time I may order the AYCE. We also added a pound of headless shrimp. So with 3 lbs in one lab we received a complimentary 1/2 lb of whatever we wanted from the choice of mussels or shrimp. We opted for the green mussels. Everything was great.

First of all, a shout-out to my Yelp friend, Lyn L., who told me about Ocean Crab. We tried it recently and were glad that we went. We arrived there for an early dinner, and they were doing a brisk business. A server greeted us. He told us that he didn't have a booth available and asked if a table would be okay. We told him that was fine, and he took us to a 4-top, which gave us room to spread out. I decided to build my own seafood boil, featuring Dungeness crab, crawfish, and a lobster tail. It also comes with potatoes and corn on the cob. For my sauce, I chose garlic butter with mild seasoning. My husband had the fried shrimp and chose coleslaw as his side. After he finished his shrimp meal, he asked our server to bring him some gumbo. We both had soft drinks to drink. My husband actually ordered a Sapporo beer, but the waiter seemed to think he ordered a Pepsi! (It does get loud in the place.) We were given two paper plates, two bibs, plastic forks, two pairs of gloves, and an implement for cracking the shells. I appreciated that! Additionally, a small bucket lined with a plastic bag is used for disposing of shells. As for the food, I liked my boil. The sauce was okay. It did have a bit of kick to it. The corn was tender and flavorful. The potatoes could have been cooked a bit more, but they were edible. My husband enjoyed his food. The gumbo was the star: very flavorful spicy dark sauce with plenty of shrimp, okra, and rice. There were several fried shrimp in his shrimp platter; the dish comes with a ketchup-like sauce. The coleslaw was OK, but could have been a bit creamier. As for ambiance, they strive for a nautical theme. The floors are concrete. It has a crab shack vibe. Entering the shopping center can be a bit tricky. We got here by driving down Centreville Road (which becomes Walney Road once you cross Route 50). After crossing 50, we took the very first right where there is a bank. After turning right and then left, you will find a strip mall shopping center; the restaurant is in the corner on the left. To exit onto Route 50, we had to wait for a break in traffic. During rush hour, you'll have a long wait to enter the traffic.
Came here by myself for some seafood only to find out they offer all you can eat as well. Uh oh...snow crab+all you can eat=Steve sees a challenge. Place was pretty full for a Monday night, but the servers were all pretty friendly. They seated me in the back (probably knew I'd be an embarrassment to my family if they were with me) and this back room was comfortable, but loud. Sat down and ordered water and a beer and looked into how this worked. Pretty simple - order up to three items off the appetizer list, order up to three items on the seafood list, order up to three extras, order your seasoning, and order your level of spice. I ordered hush puppies, crab bites (mini crab cakes), and Cole slaw. Appetizers were small - two hush puppies and two mini crab bites - and were just ok. I started with a tray that included snow crab, blue crab and clams as well as one small piece of corn and some sausage. Clams were small and about half were empty shells. Blue crabs were tiny so my follow up plates were just snow crab. The snow crab was very good...a little on the small side, but I managed. Ordered everything as an Old Bay boil with medium spice. After my fourth tray I called it quits (to be fair, after the first one, the trays were small...2 - 2 1/2 clusters on each tray. Yes, I have the meat sweats as I'm writing this so I guess I ate enough. All you can eat is pricey, $56, so I probably failed tonight, but at least it was a tasty effort.
Always a great time at this local seafood place. Yes, there are many of these places throughout the DMV but this one stands out with exceptional service and quality ingredients. Our group of 8 took a chance and bought the AYCE for about $58+. It was the men vs women. I honestly believe that the men ate more than the women. We ate fried and steamed and imbibed on their boozy drinks. A good time was had by all. Jeremy was our server. His excellent and attentive service made the whole experience worth writing about.
6/21 This is exactly how a seafood boil should taste. Flavorful, fresh, and served piping hot, with plenty of fresh garlic cloves that enhance every bite. A special thank you to David for providing outstanding service and making our first visit a great experience. There was a line of people waiting to be seated, which is always a good sign of a popular restaurant. The atmosphere was charming, the seafood was incredibly fresh, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back!
Found this new seafood broil spot in Chantilly, I've seen it passing by. It is a large establishment. I tried their all you can eat. There are so many options. Seafood: I ordered snow crab legs, blue crab and shrimp. All were very tasty. Appetizers: I also ordered fried oysters- well worth it. The calamari was also good. The cheese stick had a wonderful cheese pull!
Tried Ocean Crab recently and wow -- this place delivered! For $55.99 all-you-can-eat, it's not only a solid deal, but a better value than places like Tasty Crab in Woodbridge ($79.99), and honestly, a better experience too. Let's start with the appetizers. You can order as many as you'd like, which I appreciated -- and even more so, I liked that the portions were smaller. Some places will fill you up with oversized apps to keep you from the seafood, but Ocean Crab keeps it smart. We tried the crab bites, calamari, fried shrimp, and mozzarella sticks. They were okay -- nothing to rave about, but not bad either. But we weren't there for the apps... We came for the seafood -- and they nailed it. The Old Bay / garlic butter combo was delicious. Rich, flavorful, and not overly salty or greasy. They didn't skimp on anything. The crab leg clusters were fat and perfectly cooked -- tender, juicy, and the meat slid right out of the shells (which true crab lovers know is a rare and beautiful thing). The restaurant itself was clean and spacious with a great vibe -- good music, a solid bar setup, and quick, friendly service. Our server was super attentive, and food came out fast, which made the experience feel effortless and fun. We've hit up most of the unlimited seafood spots in the area, and this one is hands-down the best we've been to. If I had to nitpick, I'd say I wish they offered a few more seafood options -- scallops would be a great addition -- but that's more of a suggestion than a complaint. Ocean Crab is officially our go-to from now on. Highly recommend if you're craving great seafood without the sticker shock!
Stopped here during my 5 hr layover a quick uber ride there from IAD. The place looks like your typical seafood shack. It was very clean, chill environment, and the service was perfect. They had an all you can eat for $58 but I didn't have that type of time, so I settled for the Blue Crab boil. 1/2 lb was 6 crabs and it came with corn and two potatoes. I got mild with all seasonings but then I ordered a side of medium sauce for the kick. The seafood was very fresh and came out nice and hot in a bag. I'm from Texas and Blue Crab is not a staple there, so this Crab fix was just what I needed.

Loved this seafood boil ayce spot! The snow crab was very fresh and the meat was perfectly cooked. The mixed sauce was amazing and worked really well with the corn and potatoes. The margaritas were also sweet and pretty good. The ambiance was normal. There is a convenient sink outside of the restaurant, making it easy to wash your hands without needing to messily use any door handles. The service was a bit lacking when we went. We were one of the last tables left in the restaurant and needed a waiter, but they were all sat at the bar facing away from us. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and made conversation with us once we had their attention. Maybe it's just a classic case of being tired at the end of the day, so it wasn't a big deal. read more

Stopped by for a quick bite for lunch. I have seen several TikTok's on this restaurant. The service was good. The onion rings and fried shrimp were decent. The drink was worth the splurge, but the cup doesn't come with the drink. Overall 3.5 stars for this seafood restaurant. read more

Absolutely love Ocean Crab. I've been here a couple of times already with a few friends of mine, and we've had great experiences so far. The Food: We always go with the AYCE option, but they do have set combos for you to pick from as well. Snow Crabs are the only thing we eat, and we have no complaints! The seafood has been very fresh and warm when brought out to us. The sides are very good well, they have a variety for you to choose from. a must try is the Crab Bites, literally so good! The sauce they provide is delicious as well, no complaints on flavor at all. The Service: Service every time we've gone here has been incredible. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They are also very attentive to you and will make sure orders get out to you as soon as possible. The Atmosphere: Very spacious and open restaurant. Tons of seating, from booths, tables to tables big enough for huge groups. The place is clean and there are wash stations across the bathroom for a quick hand wash. Plenty of parking as well. Overall, a 5/5! Love the variety fresh seafood they offer and the delicious side that come with AYCE. I'll be back again for sure! read more
This business does not joke about their all-you-can-eat offerings! If you're planning to go, make sure to bring a group--it's definitely a team effort. Our party of five polished off three rounds of crab legs, shrimp, mussels, and sausage with potatoes as our main course. For sides, we loved the hush puppies, crab bites, and sweet potato fries. Thoughts of the ocean conjure up fresh, tasty, and tons of seafood. When, there is crab in your restaurant name, you would think that would be a star on the menu. Unfortunately, the crab was the worst thing on our all you can eat menu. It tasted awful, like it was on the border of going bad. Truly, a missed opportunity for this restaurant to shine. The fried seafood tasted the best. We enjoyed our fried shrimp and calamari. They were hot and the breading was fried nicely. My daughter in law enjoyed her black mussels and my son liked the Alaskan king crab legs. The all you can eat seafood boil came with corn, sausage, and potatoes. We ordered the fries and they were good. The steamed shrimp were delicious. Our service was excellent. The waiter came over to check on us multiple times and he was very gracious. The space is large and clean. They have a large bar area and three separate dining areas. I don't know about you, but when you are paying $59.00 a person, you expect the food to be excellent and this was definitely just okay. I would hope that this was an off day, but when your name says Ocean Crab, the crab should shine. read more

I'm absolutely obsessed with this place for the value. As seafood prices rise, I feel like Ocean Crab has fairly good prices for the value. Then again, I usually prepare myself really well prior to eating at an AYCE spot. There's plenty of spots in this restaurant, with a decent amount of parking too. The staff are really nice. Kim was super helpful and gave this amazing suggestion of trying cajun garlic butter instead of cajun or garlic butter. It was DIVINE. For the AYCE, we went about 4 rounds of snow crab legs and/or crawfish mostly, sometimes indulging in some of the potatoes, andouille sausages, or corn. I loooooove the corn with the cajun garlic butter so much lol. I did see an option to try with ramen and mix it into the dip, so I might try that next time! The snow crab legs are so good and you can easily get the meat out, which is always a good sign for a seafood restaurant. My boyfriend really enjoyed the crawfish, but I usually go to AYCE restaurants for the "higher end" options to get the most value, aka snow crabs in this instance. You can see that people in here are always down for a good time! There's excellent drink options and chill vibes. If I had a craving for seafood/ want some good value, I'd definitely go here! read more
Took the gf out for her bday, we ordered a few sides and half pound of king crab, dungeness, and snow crabs. We would have opted for the all u can eat but options were limited. For the amount I paid especially the sides, they could be a little bit bigger. Other than that the sides didn't disappoint and the crabs we got was perfect. Such a fun spot that makes you feel like you're at the beach! The service was awesome and they take/put your order in right at the table. The food was big and delicious. I loved how you can create your own sauce for your boil. The table is well prepared for you with bibs, gloves, and buckets for your trash. They also have a hand wash sink which was a nice touch to run there vs the bathroom after eating! read more

First time visiting the restaurant. Came hungry left very full. The seafood was fresh. The service was prompt and friendly. I'm glad to have listened to our waiter. We asked his opinion on a few selections and he guided us well. We are without wasting. Enjoy each and every bite. The interior is clean. Nothing fancy. Just open and spacious. We definitely recommend this place over Crazy Crab. read more

The food was well worth the wait. Our servers were attentive! They worked together to create a great dining experience for my friends, and explained the "Make Your Own Boil Deal" that we definitely capitalized on with extra protein. We were all surprised to find the bill was so low for quality that's better than a lot of bigger seafood boils around. The one thing I'll mention is that we ordered two bags, and the second was really salty. Still delicious though, and we'll return very soon! read more
First time at an ayce cajun spot and was surprised at the amount of seafood that came with each round, served family style! You can choose up to 3 items in each category (starters & seafood boil) and unlimited rounds! We started with 'medium' spicy level on our first round but then kicked it up to 'hot' the remaining rounds. imo, wasn't too spicy. We noticed that the 'hot' rounds were significantly more flavorful/ seasoned heavier, so would suggest 'hot' or spicier for more flavor! We had a large party and service was on top of all of our requests. Very solid spot for ayce cajun! read more
okay let me just say, this was my first time here and I was so excited to try this place because I love seafood! My boyfriend took me here for my birthday with my friends and they seated us right away with all of the utensils and necessary things. The server we had was very nice and came over to ask if we need anything multiple times which I appreciated. The service was 5/5 which was amazing ! For food, I got the all you can eat and we ate three trays. I'm not sure if we are 55 dollars worth of food but honestly it was pretty good !! I would come back again for sure. I had never been to a seafood boil place that offers AYCE and this is now a new favorite! It's about $60 per person for AYCE but I would say it's definitely worth it. All the seafood we got was very fresh especially the snow crabs and crawfish and they're pretty generous with portions. You also get unlimited appetizers/sides such as fries, calamari, wings, and etc. SAY LESS! Our server was great and very accommodating. The restaurant is also very nice, open, and clean. Went out here for lunch New Year's Eve 2025 and there were 2 other tables there. Our server was Jimmy (or maybe Timmy). Super nice, patient and helpful. 3 other people and I agreed to do the all you can eat option and jimmy was very kind and thorough and explained to us the sop and rules. 2 important things to know: 1. food will come out in portions according to how many participants and you can always order more in the allotted 2hr maximum 2:The most important one being that any uneaten seafood from the boil will be weighed and charged an additional $15 per pound. With our first round we ordered appetizers (included) fried oysters and fried calamari. Oysters were fine but the calamari was very rubbery. I notified our server and we stopped eating it. It just wasn't worth the stomach space . The boil comes out on a tray but I'd much rather have it in a bag to be able to mix the seasonings up better. Over all the experience was great and worth the price. We'll definitely be returning here in the future. read more

One of the best AYCE crab spots I've been to in a while! We had a large group of 8 adults and 2 kids, so we made a reservation in advance. We went on Sunday at noon (right when they open), and it wasn't too busy throughout our 2 hours there. If you're doing AYCE, everyone at the table must do it. $56 is a good price for unlimited seafood within 2 hours + sides & soda drinks. Hopefully they don't bump up the price like crazy in the future (like other crab prices in the area have done). Each round, you can select up to 3 seafood items and 3 sides but only 1 type of sauce per round as everyone gets the same thing. You can change it up the next round like we did! They brought out 2 trays of the chosen seafood, with corn, potatoes and sausages, at a time for our table or 10. Generous portions that are tailored to your party size. Absolutely lovedddd the snow crab legs and how meaty they were! The headless shrimp was also on point - big and juicy and very easy to peel! We also got some blue crabs. We tried both the Cajun and garlic butter sauces (you can select the spice level- mild, medium, spicy, etc), but I still always prefer the garlic butter in mild. A lot of sides to choose from including hush puppies, fries (Cajun or regular), sweet potatoes fries, onion rings, popcorn chicken, cole slaw, etc. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. Each round didn't take too long to come out either. Definitely willing to make the 1 hour drive again to this new yummy crab place! 10/10 would recommend checking it out. read more

You know it's a good seafood boil location when you can smell the spicy aroma the moment you walk into the restaurant! Our server David was always checking back on us & attentive which I appreciated & it didn't take long for the food to come out. The spice levels are accurate & paired very well when soaked in the snow crab cluster & everything else that's included in the lobster special combo. 11/10 on the drinks + creativity on the fall drink menu, we ordered the Hawaiian Sunrise & Lavender Martini, they were quite refreshing ! Is there a time limit for AYCE? I know some do 2 hours etc.
I'm trying to remember. I can't recall if it's 2hrs or 1.5hrs. But I do believe there is a time limit.
What hours are they open? Is the AYCE available all the time or certain times?
Sunday- Thursday: 12-9pm Friday and Saturday: 12-10pm
What's the AYCE price for kids?
It is based on height, I believe. My two kiddos (ages 7 and 10) were charged half price.
