You get to know all of the other members and everyone is motivating you to reach your goals. It's like family here. If you don't show up the Ben, Danette or Chris might check in on you with a text to see how you are doing and why you are not coming. I see this as a great thing!! Another unique thing about Keola Bodyworks is the trainers are able to work with you to make sure all your movements/lifts are correct. Secondly, they will tailor the workout to fit your goals and/or limitations. Do you have bad knees? No problem, Ben, Danette or Chris will assist you so that you are not missing your workouts because of an injury! Thirdly, Keola has an amazing massage therapist (Danette) who offers massage therapy and is amazing at working out those injuries. It's like a one-stop shop. The workouts are fun and changed up frequently. There are no mirrors and most members seem to be 35+ I'm guessing. I highly recommend checking out Keola and def try a massage by Dannette

At the time, CrossFit Communitas (CC) had not yet opened its doors. I'd searched--not just for a new CrossFit box--but for my new tribe, and mostly, for a space where I felt included, warmly welcomed AND could receive high quality coaching that left me feeling safe. Under the incomparable leadership of Jordan Eldridge, my experience at CC has far exceeded any of my expectations. Jordan has thoughtfully created a community I've growing to love, selected a solid team of coaches and emphasized consistent structure without compromising fun! As a psychotherapist and yoga teacher, it's clear to me that my physical and mental well-being are inseparable. Since becoming a member at CC, I've noticed undeniable changes with my body and the return of confidence I'd felt only before experiencing a life-threatening set of injuries. Group fitness, for me, can feel intimidating. Yet learning form and technique at CC has been as much humbling as it has been empowering. Friendship and camaraderie--with a dose healthy competition--is what sustains the community at CC. CC easily deserves a rating of five stars and "fist bumps all around!"
