I needed smog done again this year and went right back to this same place. The gentleman was very nice and offered me water couple of times. The smog check took about 10 minutes and I was done! I usually don't write reviews, but when I see a shop with not many reviews and great service, it's hard not to. First off, Hylo, the worker there, was very helpful. He offered me a seat and even cold water for customers. He knew what he was doing and was quick. He also explained to me the extent of smog checks on older and newer vehicles. It was also one of the cheaper alternatives for smog checks. It was $35 and he told me that he would even price check. I would highly recommend this place if you are in need of a smog check. The reviews are all over a yr old. Generated at the same time. Looks like it was gamed. Unfortunately, I went there, paid for a full smog check that operator said didn't pass and to bring it back after driving the car around to be checked again for an extra 20 dollars. I brought it back in and operator says he has to restart the smog check process from the beginning and has to charge me full price for another test. This place is a dive. There's no wait here because no one goes here. Totally ripped me off. They probably changed ownership because the reviews are totally not consistent with service I received. read more

Hyro was extremely helpful and very nice. We were immediately greeted with a smile and shown the area where we could hang out in the shade while the the smog check was done. As soon as we sat we were given cold waters and were informed of the status of the car. Unfortunately you car didn't pass the smog check but Hyro explained what the issue was and let me know that I could could back and get a free retest so I wouldn't have to pay again once the issue was fixed. Getting your car smog checked is one of those things that you only do if you have to, and it's usually tied to your DMV registration.
