This place is my safe haven! I'm a professional singer and have been a client at OC Salt Therapy since 2018. Salt therapy or "halotherapy" is beneficial for a myriad of things such as eczema, sinus infections, allergies, anxiety...etc. To keep my voice and lungs healthy, I go 2-4xs a week and often bring friends to experience the magic of the salt (you get your own private room). They also have red light therapy, PEMF, AmpCoil, Sauna, and ionic foot baths which you can book online. However, I would not recommend walking in without an appointment. This place is hoppin' and it is very rare that you will find an opening without a rez. Everyone who works here is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable!!! Tips: I usually wear workout clothes or sweats. It will get in your hair and be like a dry shampoo so wear a hood if you don't want it in your lovely locks. If you have asthma, bring your rescue inhaler (the salt helps asthma and none of my asthmatic friends have ever had a problem, but advised to bring just in case). Bring water and wear socks if your feet get cold. I also bring a blanket and a book to be cozy. and...babies, even newborns, can go in the salt room. They just do lighter salt and often a shorter time frame. Get ready to get salty! read more

OC Salt I love you!!! We have been coming here for a few years now. Pre- covid we tried to come monthly and now that they have re-opened hubby decided to purchase their halotherapy (salt room) package. We have been to other places for halotherapy but no one else compares to OC Salt. We drive out 30 miles to experience their concentrated salt rooms. This is how it works. You book an appt by phone or online, select the room you want to use then on appt day place dress in light colored clothes, put your belongings in the locker, take off your shoes and carefully walk into the room and relax on their comfy chairs. We prefer to turn down the lights and relax for the duration of the session taking frequent long deep breathes. It makes for a relaxing 40 minutes or so and sometimes we even fall asleep! My nose feels tingly at first but it goes away. After a few minutes you can actually taste the salt on your skin and in the air. Staff are always so super friendly and welcoming! They pump in some salt mist in addition to the salty floor, which you can walk on barefoot to absorb the goodness. They provide tissues for the inevitable nasal drainage. Today was our salty experience and I am impressed! We only did 25 minute session but my daughter and I were able to feel results immediately. She has a respiratory infection and salt therapy helped get all the mucus loose and flowing. She looked better and relieved. Took my dad who has extreme COPD and has been fighting what you and I would call a cold but because he is so compromised it has been 2 weeks, 2 rounds of steroids and antibiotics and still feeling weak. Made an appointment that day and took my dad. Staff was wonderful and in he went for 45 ish minutes. He finished the treatment and said he couldn't tell how he felt yet but that his eyes were a little watery which they said could happen and he was a little itchy in his nose. When I called to check and see how he felt this morning my mom said he got up and went golfing. He said he was going to try and play 9 rounds but he ended up playing all 18 because he felt so great. I almost fell off my chair becsude he was so tired yesterday. I'm so very excited we found this place and he will be back for another treatment in a few days. My family and I love this place. We try to go when someone's dealing with allergies or getting over a cold. The kids love the two rooms with the toys and TV. It almost feels like being at the beach. Only downside is your car will be covered with salt from your clothes on the drive home, but a small price to pay. The staff is always nice and helpful. The facility is clean and welcoming. Parking can be kind of tight but we try to go early on the weekends when we can. I highly recommend trying out the salt therapy if you have any sort of allergies or respiratory problems. I've been coming to a weekly salt therapy session for over a year now. Robert the owner is very friendly, and is willing to accommodate occasional schedule changes. The room is very comfortable and soothing, and it helps me a lot. I am a piano and voice teacher, so I do a lot of singing every day. I feel that the salt treatments do for my upper respiratory, what my Netti pot would do for me when I have a stuffy nose. Besides the reclining blue chairs and treadmill that are in the pictures, Robert also has a wooden bench that he puts in the room for me to use, so if you are plus size. there are alternate options to the blue chairs in the picture. In the past I have gotten very bad bronchitis that has lasted for months. Since starting the salt treatments, I have not had any major respiratory infections. The only time I got a stuffy head in the last year or so was after a trip to Vegas. Regular visits seem to be the key to this wonderful preventive and soothing treatment! read more
