The end result was nothing to how I do my eyebrows and looks so unnatural. I knew she was having a difficult time because of the comments she was making throughout. She even told me if I didn't like it they would fade in 3 months. Please look for someone experienced as this is at least a 1 year commitment, they fade very slowly. I wanted to do this quick and went with the first available person, don't do it!!

It's on the ground level and has "Natural Illumination" written on the window. I was greeted right away and stepped into a soothing waiting area with plants, a water cooler, essential oils and meditative music. Once Jen whisked me away to the facial room, I was surprised to see a cute little creek running outside with lots of greenery. Who knew this was here!? Such a beautiful oasis and a lovely soundtrack to go with the spa music. The facial itself was divine. I've been following Taylor on Instagram for two years and have been obsessed with her work. I've always wanted to get my brows done by her but never got around to making the appointment. I finally decided it was my turn to get my brows done, and I'm SO glad I did! Unfortunately, I overplucked my eyebrows in middle school, so they've been sparse ever since. I'm honestly not that great at makeup and could never perfect my eyebrow routine, so it was time for Taylor to take them on. Taylor decided nano brows would be perfect for my skin type and brow needs. If you're nervous, don't be! She took her time walking me through the process and mapping my eyebrows. She is an absolute perfectionist and will not settle for less, so she will make sure you have the best shape for your face! I seriously cannot say enough good things about my experience with Taylor at OC Microblading getting nanobrows! I've always wanted to enhance my natural brows so I could skip the step of filling them in daily, and when I saw Taylor's work, I knew I had to go to her. She is extremely professional, on top of communication, and makes you feel so welcome and comfortable even before entering her studio. She did my brows even BETTER than I could've imagined, and honestly, they look so much better than how I used to do them with my makeup. Getting my eyebrows microbladed by Taylor was the best decision ever. A few years ago a was diagnosed with a rare form of alopecia that affects the front part of my scalp and eyebrows. I barely had anything left and honestly I'm not very good at using makeup to recreate what I had. Taylor was so thorough and patient on my first appointment to get the shape just right. I must also mention she is so sweet and reassuring. I could not be happier. Checking in with me after to make sure everything was going ok with my brows as they healed. Okay I normally never do reviews but I had to tell everyone how amazing my experience was with Taylor!! She has been trying to convince me for years to do lip blush but I was so nervous and then I finally gave in and I wish I listened to her sooner!! The amount of compliments I have gotten and the confidence that has gone up within myself is unmatched. Taylor truly took her time and made sure they looked absolutely perfect! I knew right away it was the place for me. It was many weeks before I was able to make an appointment as my calendar limited. After booking it online (totally for this process) I received a text asking me preliminary questions as well as requests for screenshots of my brows. Long story short, Denise is a professional. Doing her homework to assure her success and her clients satisfaction. She proceeded to suggest a style and shape and drew it on my brows to show me what it would look like. When I told her I had my own ideas and wanted to look similar to the way my brows were before the over plucking and over shaving and age, she did not necessarily agree with me. But because they're my brows and I explained in detail what I wanted, she went with my request. When she was finished, she was pleased and mentioned she had not done this style but was going to put them as an option to her classic styles. Her business in a suite in a building of similar personal care services. It was easy to locate, and I had no issue finding parking. The building itself is nice and modern. Her suite was clean, cozy and personable (ps: this is a mama of 1 and expecting her second any day now!!). The chair was comfortable. I got a set of lash extensions, and it took approx an hour and a half. She was meticulously to help my poor, short lashes get some oomph but not too overboard (for work purposes). Here's how I found her: I went searching on Instagram for Lip Blush in OC which came back with a lot of images. Then I went to ChatGPT and it pointed me to something that then led me to Modern Face Studio which I thought was ONLY an Alhambra location but was glad to discover she has a Mission Viejo/Lake Forest location! Then I went to look at her work thru her posts and, as expected, you'll get to see photos of newly done lips and they looked really natural and perfect color for the skin tone of each person. Next I needed to see if there were repeat customers so I went to her yelp for both locations and found people commenting they went back or couldn't trust anyone else. At this point I was sold to come develop a relationship with this studio and scheduled a lip blush straight away. I'm so glad I did. Tina is so warm and welcoming. She shares so much about the process with you which is clearly a sign of someone who has had a lot of people come thru and, to me, volume of customers = tons of experience! So the photos of her work looked good, she seemed really nice, but the icing on the cake was that as she's talking and touching things like a cabinet or a phone, she's changing out her gloves every single time. That level of awareness of how easily her hands can potentially carry germs to your face is commendable. Legit the kind of care I value and appreciate bc if she's THAT detail-oriented about germs on her gloves then she's most certainly detail-oriented about the work she's about to do - in my case, a lip blush. Super happy so far with the experience. She promised the lining part wouldn't hurt without numbing and she did not lie. She applies numbing for 20mins before she starts shading in your lips and throughout the process. I only felt it in the middle bottom lip once and she put numbing cream and I was back to not feeling a thing. I'm writing this only having had it done but so far I'm very happy with the overall experience and will post photos after it's fully healed. If you're considering her, just do it. She's clearly a professional who cares about making sure there's a sterile environment while also being kind and friendly.
