TM has proven to be extremely effective at stress reduction and helping my nervous system get healthy. I've tried all types of breathwork (4-7-8, box breathing, etc.), acupressure, mindful meditation, etc. with inconsistent results. TM had an impact immediately, and I fully expect the impact to grow over time. I wished I'd known about this years ago. One of the most effective health practices I've found. Cindy and Barry are the perfect people to train people on TM. Extremely nice and approachable, and very knowledgeable. They demystified TM and taught proper technique to maximize results. The universe knew exactly what it was doing sending me back to the starting line. I've lost my way again. I indeed forgot how to calm my mind and body. It was a humbling way for the universe to tell me I am not meditating nor relaxing correctly. That's where Jessika comes in. She is the absolute best and is truly amazing at holding a safe space for you to achieve complete and total relaxation. She offers virtual appointments and thankfully she had availability within a few days. My experience during a session is walking in with a million thoughts racing through my head while my body can't sit down and walking out relaxed, peaceful, and focused. What a difference. I must admit how naive I was to think that reiki should not be a consistent part of my healing journey. Talking with Jessika, she made an interesting point that while reiki can help after one session its benefits can go beyond by being more consistent. It's located inside a business complex in a suite (not a standalone storefront). I parked in the lot across from Mud Hen Clay & Art Studio and found the stairs there that lead up to the studio. I'd recommend arriving a bit early so you have time to find parking and get settled. Also, the restroom is a shared community bathroom with the other suites in the complex, so just keep that in mind. I took a Hatha/Vinyasa class with Kimberly on a Saturday morning and it was great. The flow felt balanced and grounding. This was my first time here and my first impression was such a good one. I was a crying mess for a couple months. I went to Fe as a recommendation from a psychic. Hoping to get my energy cleared / soothed/ balanced. Removing and psychic blocks etc. Her fee was $125, on the phone she said she would only charge me $100. At the time of the appointment she asked for $125. She had an apprentice that I didn't know about until 2 mins before she arrived. The apprentice was nice, though I often say no to having them in room with emotional personal dealings, I didn't really have a choice though. Upon laying down Fe had an interesting tactic in her questioning me, which I found judgemental. Fe asked: "Why do you want to have a baby" Which I find totally awful since I believe no one has a good reason to have a baby. I want a baby because I love my husband and having a womanly instinct to want/ have one, isn't that enough? Not for Fe. She asked what I did for a living, and when I said I work in Fashion, she said " so you care about what people think of you. Have you had plastic surgery?" (Why does plastic surgery matter? Judgemental much?) She went on to tell me-- "are you sure you want a baby? You know.. your husband could leave you, you know the baby could have disabilities. You said you don't even own a house, you know how much money kids are? And you only rent?!" So I guess I don't deserve a kid because I don't own a house and I had a nose job. I was SO appalled by this "healing" , she put all her own life Trauma of her husband leaving her and losing babies on me. It was awful and I didn't know what to do so I just paid her higher fee, said thanks and left.
